15-inch screens are fine for general-purpose use. Yet, they can be very useful in a multiple monitor setup.
External hard drives to backup your primary hard drive is essential for any trader that wants to keep trading with the minimum downtime when something goes wrong with their internal hard drive.
Further, physically storing your critical data in a secure safe place that's away from your desktop or laptop via an external hard drive will keep you trading when you need to exploit market conditions that's currently suitable for your trade methodology.
UPS are a must because you want to be able to continue trading, continue monitoring your open trade positions in case the power goes out due to weather conditions or any other problems not associated with bad weather.
