Mentally getting away from trading is much harder to do in comparison to physically getting away from trading when its time for some rest and relaxation. Personally, one of my favorite ways to mentally rest is to watch movies I've copy & recorded from the local video store via my Slysoft software that copies any copyright protected dvd's and cd's.

1030am est is the usual time of the EIA Petroleum Report but that report is re-schedule for tomorrow at 1030am est due to the Memorial Day holiday. 10:23

Yet, sometimes (often) there's a strong price reaction at/near 1030am est on a Weds that had a Monday or Tuesday holiday.

I don't always trade nor monitor the market from my home office. Sometimes I'll do such from one of my favorite nearby Wi-Fi hotspot or whenever I'm traveling via using this little Wi-Fi detection gadget I got from Think Geek that will show more than just the presence of any nearby signal and its signal strength. I consider that a Short Squeeze if such occurs after a price decline of a minimum of 5 consectutive down intervals with lower closes on whatever chart interval I'm watching.

China and Oil

Ok...so its the end of the month of trading and what have I noticed or learned that should help me in my trading for the month of June?

China is becoming more important in the world economics equation (Oil, Interest Rates, Auto Industry et cetera).

Therefore, I'll be monitoring more closely the overnight price action of the Hang Seng Index HSI futures and the EuroFX EC futures as it reacts to what's occurring in the world in the overnight trading sessions because they have impact on the Eminis in the first few hours of trading.

In addition, I no longer underestimate the Oil Index price movement in the first hour of trading because it gives a wealth of information into the price direction of the Emini Futures, Eurex Futures and Euronext Futures.
