Archived text log of the daily discussions (real-time posted trades and market commentaries) in the #FuturesTrades chat room on IRC for traders of futures, exchange traded funds and forex currencies.
However, eventually the chat room will be a private group (still free as always) on Twitter because of the social network that allows members to efficiently collaborate with each other via resources like TweetDeck, Stocktwits and Charl.ly and many other twitter resources in comparison to IRC.
You don't need to reveal the in-depth details of your actual trade signal here.
Instead, showing annotated charts with entry & exit along with a general brief commentary of what caught your attention about the price action helps other members understand the context of your trades.
You can upload your chart images in this thread or post them at Chart.ly
All journals must contain broker profit/loss statements (real money or simulator). Your trade journal can be public which means members and guest visitors can view it. However, you can have a private trade journal so that only you or those on your access list can view it. Contact us if you want to change your trade journal into private viewing (Note: Private journals are invisible to those not on your access list).
You have 72 hours to post the required qualification information after your forum membership has been approved to prevent your forum membership from being deleted. Thus, lurking is not allowed (no exceptions).
Therefore, this message thread contains the instructions on how to gain access to our free chat room called #FuturesTrades on IRC Othernet server.
Simply, this FTCHAT support forum is the gateway to help weed out problematic members prior to their entry into the #FuturesTrades chat room.
#FuturesTrades is for traders to document their trades and commentary as they occur in real-time. Do not join the forum if your intentions is to join the chat room to mimic (duplicate) the trades of the members.
Upload images of your broker profit/loss statements in this thread and you must blacken out any private (confidential) info on your statements.
Also, if your images are posted at another location, you must post a direct link to those images as long as there's not a requirement to register to be able to view your images.
We use a anti-spam database to identify spammers during the registration process while your account is in the "inactive status".
Upon identification as a spammer by our anti-spam bot...your entry into the forum is denied and membership automatically deleted.
To those that manage to sneak past our auto controls...
We aggressively remove SPAM, ban your IP address, ban your email address, file a complaint with your ISP with proof of your SPAM along with uploading info about you to online resources databases used by other forums that use anti-spam bots or modules.
You must make your first message posts in this thread.
We will then review your message posts prior to moving your messages to the appropriate threads and prior to allowing you full access to the forum (no exceptions).
