The FTCHAT Support Forum is only for traders that want to join the #FuturesTrades chat room. Further, after I've approved your membership to the FTCHAT forum, you only have 72 hours to post the required qualification information to prevent your forum membership from being moved into the "inactive status" or deleted. Thus, lurking is not allowed (no exceptions).
Therefore, this message thread contains the instructions on how to gain access to our free chat room called #FuturesTrades on IRC Othernet server whenever the chat room is password protected. Simply, this FTCHAT support forum is the gateway to #FuturesTrades and the forum rules help ensure that #FuturesTrades maintains high quality traders regardless if they're veteran or beginner traders.
#FuturesTrades is for traders to document their trades and commentary as they occur in real-time. Do not join the forum if your intentions is to join the chat room to mimic (duplicate) the trades of the members.
Archived text log of the daily discussions (real-time posted trades and market commentaries)
#FuturesTrades is a free chat room for beginners, intermediate and advance traders wanting to document their trades along with having a log of the daily price action commentary...information that's critical whenever a trader needs an archive to better understand their trade performance of any past trading day...critical information a trader can not get from a broker statement.
In addition, it's for traders of futures, exchange traded funds and forex. In fact, it's the diversity of different trading instruments that help members with their trades because they understand the price action via the commentaries of other key markets that do have an impact on whatever it is they're trading.
Also, many of our members are also posting on Twitter, Chart.ly and Stocktwits although more often via a different user name in comparison to their user name in #FuturesTrades as time permits when not busy monitoring an actual trade postion.
You don't need to reveal the in-depth details of your actual trade signal here.
Instead, showing annotated charts with entry & exit along with a general brief commentary of what caught your attention about the price action helps other members understand the context of your trades.
You can upload your chart images in this thread or post them at Chart.ly
All public or private journals must contain broker profit/loss statements (real money or simulator). Your trade journal can be public which means members and guest visitors can view it. However, you can have a private trade journal that's invisible to those not on your access list...most journals are private. Contact us if you want us to setup a private trade journal for you.
Upload images of your broker profit/loss statements in this thread. However, you must blacken out any private information (e.g. account number, total capital, address et cetera) to prevent revealing confidential information.
Also, if your images are posted at another location, you must post a direct link to those images as long as there's not a requirement to register to be able to view your images.
We use a anti-spam database to identify spammers during the registration process while your account is in the "inactive status".
Upon identification as a spammer by our anti-spam bot...your entry into the forum is denied and membership automatically deleted.
To those that manage to sneak past our auto controls...
We aggressively remove SPAM, ban your IP address, ban your email address, file a complaint with your ISP with proof of your SPAM along with uploading info about you to online resources databases used by other forums that use anti-spam bots or modules.
You must make your first message posts in this thread.
We will then review your message posts prior to moving your messages to the appropriate threads and prior to allowing you full access to the forum (no exceptions).
