##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is
free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using
WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRB, WRB Hidden GAP, WRB Zone, WRB profit targets, Key Market Events) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a
position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time
price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to
help develop a better understanding of the price action
(market context) they're trading.
##TheStrategyLab is primarily designed to only be a
trade journal for documentation purposes so that members can have a real time stamp archive of their trades and their market commentaries of each trading day...giving them a better understanding of their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its
highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your
diary (journal) to correlate with trades on your broker statements.
Also, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be
educational for you,
ask questions instead of lurking (not participating in conversations). You can talk about anything related to price action analysis, trade execution, financial markets, economies or news impacting the markets in general.
Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post at least one WRB Analysis price action commentary, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.
With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding
price action trading. To log into ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions here at the
FTCHAT Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5 or via the the instructions from the

all
[09:32:38] <tomis170> Hi all
[09:32:49] <Leopard70>
[09:57:21] <wrbtrader> Very little key market events (KME) today @ 1300pm and 1400pm est
[09:58:36] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES futures @ 1761.25 large size
[09:58:54] <wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[10:00:00] <TigermanTrader> hi wrbtrader that long was because a DCM c1 or because price climb the recent up shadows
[10:04:08] <wrbtrader> Exit all Emini ES futures @ 1761.50 +0.25
[10:07:31] <TigermanTrader> hi wrbtrader is interesting here because you exited before a stop get hit
[10:08:19] <TigermanTrader> price stalled near entry and you exited soon
[10:15:14] <wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1099.50 -> large size
[10:16:30] <wrbtrader> 3+3 contracts
[10:18:02] <wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1098.80 -> Add
[10:18:27] <wrbtrader> 3 added
[10:20:35] <wrbtrader> Exited 1/3 Emini TF Long @ 1099.30 --> + 0.5
[10:20:44] <TigermanTrader> [16:15:29] <wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1099.50 -> large size
[10:21:00] <TigermanTrader> hi what triggered that wrbtrader?
[10:24:18] <TigermanTrader> oops sorry wrong windows
[10:29:10] <TigermanTrader> TF now at yesterday close
[10:30:27] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1100.40 --> + 0.9
[10:38:27] <wrbtrader> Tigerman, I'm sending my trades in here from my mobile device today.
[10:38:49] <TigermanTrader> ah ok
[10:38:57] <wrbtrader> I have it setup so that I can't see any messages in here except that I can only get private messages.
[10:39:50] <wrbtrader> Also, I don't know what you meant by DCM c1 or long shadows unless you're talking about something from the free FVB strategy because that strategy talks about c2/c1 intervals.
[10:40:29] <wrbtrader> Maybe you meant price action Creeper Movement that you see me talking about in here.
[10:40:48] <wrbtrader> Yes, price action is rising higher but slowly = Creeper Movement
[10:40:59] <wrbtrader> That's something I like to trade when it happens.
[10:41:04] <TigermanTrader> yep right
[10:41:21] <wrbtrader> My entries are late entries today so far...very late by about 1 point
[10:41:23] <wrbtrader>
[10:41:50] <TigermanTrader> ah ok that explain
[10:41:58] <wrbtrader> I've had a lot of "no fills" so far and then decided to market into the trade as late entries at worst prices.
[10:42:21] <TigermanTrader> yep I got a no fill too in SPY
[10:42:48] <TigermanTrader> it is very strange considering is high traded
[10:43:08] <wrbtrader> That's why I exited EARLY that Emini ES futures trade because it retraced back to a price that should have been a nice WRB pt1 had I gotten an early fill.
[10:43:30] <wrbtrader> Thus, that +0.25 really should have been a +1.50 had a gotten the fill I wanted.
[10:43:59] <wrbtrader> Maybe I'm just a little too slow in getting in my orders today...
[10:44:03] <TigermanTrader> yeah chase a entry is always risky I learned that well
[10:44:18] <wrbtrader> Nothing new...happened a few times yesterday too.
[10:45:54] <TigermanTrader> today YM is lazy vs others e-minies
[10:48:34] <wrbtrader> The volatility spike correlations and contracting volatility corelations have been VERY CRAPPY lately.
[10:48:42] <wrbtrader> involving key markets.
[10:48:55] <wrbtrader> If someone doesn't understand what I'm talking about...I'll explain.
[10:49:33] <wrbtrader> If Gold GC futures is doing a volatility spike via a big WRB, WRB Hidden GAP or very long shadow interval...
[10:49:53] <wrbtrader> It doesn't matter which price directions (Up or Down).
[10:50:35] <wrbtrader> What matters is that we want to see Crude Oil, Emini futures, Eurex, EuroFX or Treasuries...
[10:50:53] <wrbtrader> doing the same at the same time or within a minute or so.
[10:51:18] <wrbtrader> Remember, I don't care if Oil is spiking upwards and the Eminis is spiking downwards.
[10:51:33] <wrbtrader> Thus, its not important about the direction of the volatility spike or contraction.
[10:51:58] <wrbtrader> The importance is that they are INSYNC with each other in the volatility movements...spiking or contracting.
[10:52:16] <wrbtrader> When that "insync" happens...trading is less stressful and very profitable.
[10:52:43] <wrbtrader> That insync correlation hasn't been good lately
[10:53:03] <wrbtrader> Crude Oil CL futures increasing volatility right now...
[10:53:19] <wrbtrader> While Eminis are contracting (doing nothing)
[10:53:27] <wrbtrader> Key markets not insync
[10:53:56] <wrbtrader> Hopefully the Eminis will react soon (within a minute) regardless if they spike upwards or downwards
[10:54:51] <wrbtrader> That's how I prepare for trades...
[10:55:06] <wrbtrader> If I see one key market spiking in its volatility...
[10:55:38] <wrbtrader> I start getting ready to see if my trading instrument will start to do similar like fashion very soon.
[10:55:53] <wrbtrader> As to the direction of the price action...
[10:56:09] <wrbtrader> I let my trade signals (if one appears) tell me which direction to take the trade.
[10:56:36] <wrbtrader> Next, hopefully the volatility spike shows up in my favor instead of a volatility spike against me.
[10:57:12] <wrbtrader> Today I've been a few steps behind (slow)...reason for the late entries (chasers).
[10:57:18] <wrbtrader> I must be getting old
[10:58:20] <TigermanTrader> thanks x explain wrbtrader
[10:58:50] <TigermanTrader> about getting old....
[10:59:05] <wrbtrader> Long Light Crude Oil CL @ 94.23 -> medium size
[10:59:13] <wrbtrader> 4 contracts
[10:59:35] <TigermanTrader> trading is like sport very difficult every year pass
[11:00:23] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 (shallow) reached
[11:01:19] <wrbtrader> Exited all Light Crude Oil CL Long @ 94.26 --> + 0.03
[11:01:52] <wrbtrader> Held that a little longer instead of taking the WRB target @ 94.33
[11:02:10] <wrbtrader> I thought there was enouogh volatility to push it higher into a WRB pt2 level...
[11:02:29] <wrbtrader> I was wrong...will continue watching for a re-entry opportunity
[11:05:42] <wrbtrader> Gold GC futures increasing volatility
[11:06:24] <wrbtrader> Long Light Crude Oil CL @ 94.28 -> medium size
[11:06:34] <wrbtrader> 4 contracts re-entry
[11:06:58] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 (shallow) reached due to late entry
[11:07:16] <wrbtrader> missed it @ 94.23
[11:08:58] <wrbtrader> Exited all Light Crude Oil CL Long @ 94.48 --> + 0.2
[11:09:06] <wrbtrader> WRB pt2 reached
[11:21:30] <wrbtrader> SPY, IWM, DIA, QQQ and MDY looks like its a "fill the gap day" and then go on vacation
[11:21:55] <wrbtrader> Increasing volatility in the Emini futures
[11:22:29] <wrbtrader> EuroFX futures and Forex EurUsd slowly increasing volatility
[11:22:57] <wrbtrader> Crude Oil CL futures slowly contracting in volatility
[11:56:32] <TigermanTrader> take care all see all next time
[12:01:00] <tomis170> the market is definitely not funny, no moves on any side...
[12:02:42] <wrbtrader> Yeah, its starting to remind me of Monday's afternoon price action
[12:07:30] <tomis170> Should be better tomorrow after Yellen audition
[12:08:07] <wrbtrader> Emerging Market Stocks Extend Slump; Treasuries, Oil Gain (Bloomberg) @
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-11-1 ... lides.html [12:10:25] <@wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Your use of this chat room implies you're using concepts from WRB Analysis for price action trading to help trade either Stocks, Emini Futures (EMD, TF, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX 6E Futures, Eurex/Euronext Futures (DAX, ESTX50, FTSE100, CAC40, BUND), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), Oil Futures (Brent, CL, HO, QM), Gold GC Futures, Natural Gas NG Futures, Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, XLE, QQQ, SPY), Hang Seng HSI Futures, NIFTY Futures, Forex Currencies (GbpUsd, EurUsd, EurYen, UsdCad) and other key market price actions.
[12:16:43] <@wrbtrader> Emini futures in full "Zombie attack"...they've risen from the dead.
[12:20:52] <NDW> Ha, that is a good description!
[12:21:07] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1102.20 -> small size
[12:21:51] <@wrbtrader> 3 contracts only...I'm afraid of getting "bitten" in this afternoon price action.
[12:22:09] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 (shallow) reached
[12:22:59] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1103.30 --> + 1.1

[13:50:15] <@wrbtrader> Very nice looking price movement in many different markets
[13:50:50] <@wrbtrader> Yeah, looks like a slow power creeper up movement in the Eminis
