The chat room was closed today for New Year's Eve although the futures markets were open. It's a time to reflect because the Covid Pandemic claimed multiple active members of TheStrategyLab resources...another member died from a heart attack.
This Pandemic is serious and disruptive to our lives and as long as it endures...we must be careful and take care of ourselves in any way possible.
My teenager's school shut down early (one week early before Xmas holidays) because of the new curfew and strict restrictions due to the exploding hospitalization from Omicron.
Please stay active outside. I've been doing my normal activities in winter...snowmobiling, cross country skiing, hockey with the kids, and hanging out with the neighbors on the street to help snowplow their driveways.
Happy New Year's Eve and New Year 2022...see you next year sometime in the week but no rush to start trading in a year starting off with a raging Omicron in the United States, Canada, and France...with a return to curfews. Hopefully, the world has a better year than 2020 - 2021.
