##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab chat room is is primarily designed for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Therefore, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Also, ##TheStrategyLab chat room is not designed to be educational. Simply, members using the chat room are not there to teach you how to trade and you will not see me discussing the reasons (strategies) behind my trades within ##TheStrategyLab chat room because those reasons (strategies) are only discussed with fee-base clients in a different chat room. Yet, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational or more active in discussing whatever it is that you're trading, we highly recommend that you ask trading related questions about your own trading instead of lurking (not saying anything) because your primary purpose is to improve your trading if you're a struggling trader. Therefore, don't join ##TheStrategyLab and then be silent. To be silent while using ##TheStrategyLab chat room, you'll be wasting a collaboration opportunity for improving your trading and doing such will make ##TheStrategyLab chat room useless to you.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[11:22:24] <Lightenup1> Long YM 17400
[11:26:24] <TradeSnake______> Eminis a little out of sync... TF and NQ continue to push higher while YM and ES content with range bound chop

[11:27:05] <wrbtrader> unreal
[11:31:38] <TradeSnake______> Has anyone else broker started charging ridiculously high fees ICE data recently??

[11:39:26] <TradeSnake______> I wonder if we will start to see a significant drop off in volumes for those products
[11:43:45] <Cayden> pretty long CV run since 10 east- good morning
[11:50:35] <wrbtrader> amazing how long the institutions were able to hold Emini ES and YM down like that while the Emini NQ/TF futures steadily moved higher
[11:52:11] <wrbtrader> Most likely somme big weighted stocks in the YM and ES that were underperforming...keeping those futures range bound like that
[11:53:50] <Cayden> I see what you mean- didn't notice that at first- thanks

[12:24:22] <mtntrader___> That KME was important, apparently.
[12:24:25] <patrader> Closed the ES reg session gap with style.
[12:24:27] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2033.75 --> + 2.5

[12:29:54] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2035.75 -> large size
[12:30:08] <wrbtrader> 10 + 5 contracts
[12:33:14] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2036.25 --> + 0.5
[12:34:52] <wrbtrader> They're now calling the volatility spike in all the key markets the "Janet Yellen Fart".
[12:35:09] <TradeSnake______> lol
[12:35:14] <t4nppr> heh
[12:35:40] <wrbtrader> She barely said anything and the markets went BAM
[12:37:08] <t4nppr> she mentioned oil half a dozen times
[12:37:57] <Cayden> it must have been the word, "Greater gradualism" that set it all off. :-)
[12:38:55] <wrbtrader> Ok...then I guess the wardrobe malfunction was just a rumor
[12:39:07] <mtntrader___> Ha ha!
[12:39:07] <Cayden> One heck of a KME Zone space
[12:39:09] <t4nppr> eww
[12:39:45] <Tigerman_____> about the fed Kme...
[12:39:49] <Cayden> Thsats halariuos- yes- must have been a rumar or the move would have been south.
[12:40:33] <Cayden> those are not typos either- i just cant spell
[12:40:43] <Tigerman_____> I suspect most of funds and company had ready positions to push
[12:41:52] <Tigerman_____> simply exactly after few milliseconds the spech start... they enter in market
[12:42:17] <Tigerman_____> what is funny is this...
[12:43:34] <Tigerman_____> time ago I monitored the price in one of this kind of Kme
[12:43:41] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2037.50 -> large size
[12:43:55] <wrbtrader> 10 re-entry
[12:44:26] <wrbtrader> The way the volatility is moving and the speed...feels like algortithms from January price action
[12:45:04] <Tigerman_____> simply price started increase vola Exactly 1 uSec after Kme start
[12:45:18] <Tigerman_____> lg spy 204.34
[12:46:27] <Tigerman_____> of course I hope you all understand what means price started run 1uSec after a News
[12:47:59] <Tigerman_____> exit 2/3 @ 203.40 +6tk
[12:50:50] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2038.50 --> + 1
[12:51:15] <Cayden> tigerman- I guess that is why wrbtrader words the KME event zone build 'at' or 'after'
[12:51:17] <wrbtrader> trying to stay in the trade until the next algo volatility spike is the hard part
[12:52:34] <Cayden> right- could get a huge retrace- into the KME Zone- a drawn out price action thing- flag, pennant, channel - a CV thingy
[12:52:47] <Tigerman_____> exit all 203.35 +1tk
[12:53:38] <Tigerman_____> cayden ... corect what you say about the Kme zone
[12:53:50] <Tigerman_____> but my point is another..
[12:54:58] <Tigerman_____> is about the fact price start tu run as " a quantum trader listen to the News " :)
[12:55:34] <Tigerman_____> simply price run regardless the News
[12:55:50] <Tigerman_____> News is an excuse :)
[12:56:53] <Tigerman_____> unless some traders or Algos are speeder then Light :)
[12:58:49] <Tigerman_____> sh spy 204.12

[13:08:43] <Tigerman_____> I close well the day just not did my stuff x this mid-day Kme
[13:08:57] <Tigerman_____> I do it now
[13:09:08] <Tigerman_____> take care and see all next time
[13:34:28] <wrbtrader_away> Strange to see this type low volatility conditions in March considering we keep hearing about how "algorithms have taken over the markets".
[13:34:40] * wrbtrader_away is now known as wrbtrader
[13:35:50] <wrbtrader> Lots of debates about whether algo makes the markets more efficient or less efficient and I wonder if volatility determines which is true
[13:36:27] <mtntrader___> We got spoiled in January and early February. March has been pretty muted.
[13:41:42] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2037.00 -> large size
[13:41:53] <wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[13:42:56] <wrbtrader> Yeah...usually when theres a big month...expectations remain high for the next month and when those expectations aren't being met...folks freak out
[13:43:45] <wrbtrader> For example of this trade...
[13:44:23] <wrbtrader> That Janet Yellen Fart showed up and I'm "expecting" that volatility to keep returning but it obviously has not :(
[13:45:19] <wrbtrader> Meant the volatility spikes have been "contracting since 1245pm est
[13:47:32] <mtntrader___> From what I've seen there is always better volatility when the financial indicies are in a downtrend. When in an uptrend they just melt up slowly.
[13:59:12] <wrbtrader> Another small WRB pt1 reached and then the pullback starts :(
[14:01:50] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached again
[14:03:52] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2040.25 --> + 3.25
[14:04:55] <wrbtrader> Now it seems like its just Emini YM futures having problems keeping up with the other Emini futures
[14:22:07] <Cayden> yep
[15:04:32] <mtntrader___> Long ES 2044.50
[15:21:42] <wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Your use of this chat room implies you're using concepts from WRB Analysis for price action trading to help trade either Stocks, Emini Futures (EMD, TF, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX 6E Futures, Eurex/Euronext Futures (DAX, ESTX50, FTSE100, CAC40, BUND), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), Oil Futures (Brent, CL, HO, QM), Gold GC Futures, Natural Gas NG Futures, Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, XLE, QQQ, SPY), Hang Seng HSI Futures, NIFTY Futures, Forex Currencies (GbpUsd, EurUsd, EurYen, UsdCad) and other key market price actions.
[15:23:46] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2047.50 -> large size
[15:23:59] <wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[15:25:39] <wrbtrader> Other key markets just stalled :(
[15:27:55] <wrbtrader> I'm now lost in the forest
[15:31:31] <mtntrader___> I'm trying to hang in here for a ramp in the final half hour.
[15:31:54] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2046.50 --> - 1
[15:32:40] <wrbtrader> volatility slowly picking up and taking price down with it
[15:33:34] <wrbtrader> mtntrader...I'm too hoping to get Long or hold a trade into the 4pm est rush hour traffic
[15:36:43] <wrbtrader> If Emini ES drops futher like down into the 2044 price area...that will change every thing
[15:36:59] <mtntrader___> Agreed
[15:45:11] <mtntrader___> Covered at 2045.50, +1
[15:45:52] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2044.50 -> large size
[15:46:04] <wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[15:47:34] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2045.25 --> - 0.75
[15:48:21] <wrbtrader> Emini ES trying hard to fight its way back up
[15:49:41] <mtntrader___> Yes, but the final half hour ramp has been a dud.
[15:51:18] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2045.50 -> large size
[15:51:30] <wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[15:51:50] <wrbtrader> lets see if I can hold this Long into the 4pm est rush hour traffic
[15:52:28] <wrbtrader> 9 mins will be a long time for this trade
[15:53:16] <Cayden> it wont be that long if you get a volitility spike to 46.75
[15:53:51] <wrbtrader> Yeah, a volatility spike will suddenly change everything...it'll give me more wiggle room to stay in the trade
[15:56:47] <mtntrader___> Long ES 2046.00
[15:58:24] <Cayden> got 46.50- that could help
[15:58:59] <wrbtrader> Emini ES futures back inside that price area where a got lost in the forest a few trades ago via SPY testing the S area of an unfilled Down WRB HG interval 1min chart
[15:59:10] <Cayden> less then 45 secionds to cash close
[16:00:01] <t4nppr> :/ shaken
[16:00:11] <t4nppr> for half at least
[16:02:19] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[16:02:44] <t4nppr> i'd like some follow through
[16:04:34] <mtntrader___> Covered at 2047.50, pt reached +1.5
[16:04:45] <mtntrader___> Looks like she's done.
[16:05:14] <t4nppr> 7.75 needs a push
[16:06:55] <t4nppr> take care all
[16:07:20] <efloortrader7> Have a good evening everyone
[16:14:36] <Cayden> less then 15 second to close
[16:14:54] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2047.50 --> + 2
[16:15:35] <Cayden> nice close
[16:15:49] <mtntrader___> Well, I've had about as much of this fun as I can stand. See you all tomorrow.
[16:16:06] <Cayden> see you tomorrow
[16:17:02] <wrbtrader> Had it pushed harder upside...it would have been worth hanging around.

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Also, to prevent the usual mix-up about our different chat rooms, most of our fee-base clients do not use chat rooms just like most retail traders do not use chat rooms. Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
