##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is
free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using
WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRB, WRB Hidden GAP, WRB Zone, WRB profit targets, Key Market Events) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a
position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time
price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to
help develop a better understanding of the price action
(market context) they're trading.
##TheStrategyLab is primarily designed to only be a
trade journal for documentation purposes so that members can have a real time stamp archive of their trades and their market commentaries of each trading day...giving them a better understanding of their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its
highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your
diary (journal) to correlate with trades on your broker statements.
Also, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be
educational for you,
ask questions instead of lurking (not participating in conversations). You can talk about anything related to price action analysis, trade execution, financial markets, economies or news impacting the markets in general.
Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room. Exceptions for those that are actively posting via private messages or posting at one of our support forums.
With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding
price action trading. To log into ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions here at the

[11:23:48] <Cayden> I'm with you there wrbtrader..I'm on a 2 minute though- looking at a zone of 52.75 bottom support - 56 top resistance on the ES mini. Philly Fed index RED DOT KME
[11:26:37] <Cayden> I considered the 3 minute chart profile but prefered the 1st WRB off the 2 minute- like the spacing better
[11:27:09] <Cayden> But I see your on the TF
[11:27:27] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 1192.20 -> small size
[11:27:38] <@wrbtrader> 1 contract
[11:27:58] <@wrbtrader> volatility just not there to be pushing any size in this type of price action
[11:29:42] <@wrbtrader> Too bad that volatility between 0950am - 1030am est didn't remain
[11:32:23] <Cayden> did you go long the TF off the ES price action?
[11:32:47] <@wrbtrader> No but I now wish I had gone Long in Emini ES instead of TF
[11:34:03] <Cayden> copy that- looks likw a FVB among other things on a 2 minute
[11:35:00] <@wrbtrader> Yeah...a few FVB stuff showed up too
[11:35:23] <@wrbtrader> Multiple trade signals ALWAYS a good sign versus just one trade signal
[11:35:51] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 (shallow) reached
[11:36:11] <@wrbtrader> Exited Emini ES Long @ 1193.10 --> + 0.9
[11:36:43] <Cayden> copy that. wished I could have been here yesterday. Found the 3 minute chart behaved the best off the Fed Announcement
[11:37:20] <Cayden> Do you mean The TF?
[11:37:52] <@wrbtrader> Yeah, yesterday had some good volatility for awhile...too bad it kind'uv fizzled at the end of the day
[11:38:37] <@wrbtrader> No...any trade instrument that gives multiple trade signals via different strategies...
[11:38:43] <@wrbtrader> Its always a good thing
[11:43:50] <@wrbtrader> Overall volatility still declining in the Emini Futures
[11:44:21] <@wrbtrader> Crude Oil CL futures volatility now slowed after that recent volatility spike that took prices downwards
[11:46:08] <Cayden> as volitility declines do you look to favor short term conter trend- in this instance favor the 'Short' side
[11:47:11] <@wrbtrader> Whatever chart interval I'm using...I don't want to counter-trend trade.
[11:47:20] <@wrbtrader> I'm a losing trader if I do such
[11:47:31] <Cayden> copy that
[11:47:47] <@wrbtrader> By the way...I'm now looking at the 1min chart...
[11:47:51] <@wrbtrader> Trend is down
[11:48:23] <@wrbtrader> In contrast...higher time frame is just UGLY price action
[11:48:40] <@wrbtrader> Main reason why my position size is VERY LOW...
[11:48:50] <@wrbtrader> I just don't like what I see on the higher time frame chart
[11:49:46] <@wrbtrader> I was hoping for a trend day so that I can push some size (like 9 contracts in Emini TF futures or 20 - 30 contracts in Emini ES futures)
[11:50:59] <Cayden> R U looking at a 1 minute chart off differnt time frame Zone, (say the 3),- i think i read somewhere that you will NOT co mingle the Zones.
[11:51:42] <@wrbtrader> Exactly...too much work trying to mix up time frames for Zones and trade signals
[11:55:27] <Cayden> I like the notion of going long here at 57.50 - only because of how tight a stop at 56.75- did not do it but thinking out loud.
[11:56:29] <@wrbtrader> Cayden...what time frame you're on
[11:56:43] <Cayden> 2 minute
[11:56:49] <@wrbtrader> ok
[11:57:00] <Cayden> I was bulding a zone off a trade trigger
[11:57:23] <Cayden> 11:34 to 11:36
[11:58:42] <Cayden> 11:46 was the 'go' license to wait fo a very tight stop entry...but i did not do it...I'm too exhausted and dont think im thinking right to trade.
[12:01:48] <Cayden> correction. i built a zone off of the 11:34 to 11:38 time frame on a two minute. - 2 candles
[12:02:22] <@wrbtrader> Volatility in the Emini futures now is pathetic
[12:04:26] <Cayden> It's got the volitility of a 'dry creek bed'
[12:06:13] <@wrbtrader> Dollar Climbs to Strongest in Two Weeks Against Euro; Kiwi Drops (Bloomberg) @
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-03-1 ... rises.html [12:09:39] <Cayden> WRB- am I correct on the Philly KME this morning at 10am east- that is a Red Dot?
[12:09:44] <@wrbtrader> Forex EURUSD and EuroFX 6E futures basically in a low volatility trading range since the big move down between 0430am - 0700am est
[12:10:45] <@wrbtrader> KME's are only important to YOU. Thus, you decide which is important and which is not. To some...its important. To others, it is not
[12:11:06] <@wrbtrader> Also depends upon what you're trading
[12:11:32] <Cayden> copy that-
[12:12:35] <@wrbtrader> Canadian Dollar now @ 0.8872
[12:13:36] <@wrbtrader> Daily chart has a lot of Down WRB Hidden GAPs (unfilled) since late October 2013
[12:25:41] <TigermanTrader> take care all see next time
[12:28:48] <@wrbtrader> volatility in Eminis increasing but its a little too late for me...
[12:29:02] <@wrbtrader> time for my first big rest of the day...be back later
[12:30:15] <Cayden> thankyou
[12:33:34] <Cayden> i have us in a WRB - HG from the FOMC yesterday- 1861.5 to 1866.25...Built off a 3 minute on the ES
[13:08:13] * Cayden slaps Cayden around a bit with a large trout
