#TheStrategyLab (formerly known as #FuturesTrades) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis and any trader (position trader, swing trader and day trader) can use the chat room to post their real-time trades, real-time price action analysis or market commentaries involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Further, although our chat room is smaller than the other popular chat rooms...we are the most active chat room in posting trades, price action analysis or market commentaries in comparison to other free chat rooms.

#TheStrategyLab is primarily designed to be only a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a real time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day and this gives them a better understanding of their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners and experience) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading...improving their position size management and trade management after entry.

Also, if you want #TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational for you...please ask questions instead of lurking (not participating in conversations).

Quote:
Chat room only for traders using concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use #TheStrategyLab are not required to post trades but if you do post trades...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding the price action you're trading. To log into #TheStrategyLab chat room...please follow the instructions here at the FTCHAT Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5 or for registered members of the chat room at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

Note: Registration is not allowed here at the FTCHAT Forum...it is allowed at the TSL Forum (link above) that provides support for the #TheStrategyLab chat room.

[12:09:48] <+david_uk> here is my 30 min chart of the ES ... we appear to be 'stuck' within the range printed during the first 60 mins of rth trading ... will we see a break out above the rth highs (shown by the 'green' highlighted rectangle)? Given the previous pivot-high around 1444 (yesterday's highs) the current upmove could have further upside to go, even if this upsurge were to peter-out:

[12:15:22] <@wrbtrader> David...you can talk about anything trading related.
[12:15:41] <+david_uk> ok... fine
[12:15:43] <@wrbtrader> The key is that you must be using the WRB Analysis regardless to what you post in here about trading.
[12:16:20] <@wrbtrader> I post links to articles about Oil and Gold...that have nothing to do with WRB Analysis as you have already seen since you've been here.
[12:16:37] <+david_uk> now I am confused wrb ... anyway perhaps it is best that I not post until after I have had a chance to read your stuff :))
[12:16:50] <@wrbtrader> Its simple...
[12:16:57] <@wrbtrader> You can post about anything trading related.
[12:17:04] <@wrbtrader> Here's an example...
[12:17:16] <+Tigerman> euro moving strong up
[12:17:36] <@wrbtrader> David...did yo see what Tigerman just said.
[12:17:49] <@wrbtrader> It has nothing to do with WRB Analysis...just price action info
[12:17:59] <@wrbtrader> Yet, he does understand WRB Analysis
[12:18:58] <@wrbtrader> Here's my own example...
[12:18:58] <+Tigerman> thanks for your appreciation wrbtrader :)
[12:19:25] <@wrbtrader> Jobless claims fell to lowest level since July (CNNMoney.com) @ http://money.cnn.com/2012/09/27/news/ec ... d=A_E_News

[12:20:10] <@wrbtrader> Agree
[12:20:30] <@wrbtrader> It's going to be a tough start to 2013 for the jobless
[12:21:12] <@wrbtrader> volatility contraction showing up now in the Emini Futures
[12:21:31] <+Tigerman> do you mean jobless decrease due to employment just temporary for pack gift in shops ?
[12:22:05] <+Tigerman> so holidays give some work
[12:22:14] <+david_uk> 1436.75 is the 50% retracement level ... will it prove to become 'resistance'? We shall see (there are still just over 8 mins to go on this present 30 mion bar: http://www.sierrachart.com/userimages/u ... 289737.png
[12:22:27] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 838.10 --> + 0.5
[12:22:55] <@wrbtrader> Tigerman, I'm not expecting much out of the economy next year...LESS than this year
[12:23:46] <+T4n_paper> how does that translate to you volatility expectations?
[12:24:23] <@wrbtrader> Less volatility as investors CONTINUE pulling their money out of the stock market.
[12:24:51] <+T4n_paper> havent they already been doing that the last few years?
[12:24:55] <@wrbtrader> LESS Investing = LESS Volume = LESS Volatility
[12:25:00] <+T4n_paper> how much can they have left
[12:25:12] <@wrbtrader> Billions left :)
[12:25:58] <+T4n_paper> ok, enough for me then
[12:27:44] <@wrbtrader> volatility spike
[12:28:46] <+Tigerman> yes downspike in TF
[12:29:23] <+Tigerman> in contrast euro is stuck in is previuous wrb at 12:10
[12:30:04] <+Tigerman> back to economy over pull away money they also not bring fresh one
[12:30:27] <+Tigerman> us lost 8 milion jobs in recents years
[12:30:39] <+Tigerman> and guest what ??
[12:31:04] <+T4n_paper> ?
[12:31:08] <+Tigerman> consuming is at same level 2007-08 peack before crisis
[12:32:16] <+Tigerman> I mean guess
[12:32:45] <+Tigerman> so money for consume is new household debt
[12:33:34] <+Tigerman> simply not big reason x people to put money in stock market
[12:33:41] <+Tigerman> not us or europe
[12:34:20] <@wrbtrader> Rising food cost usually means there's "worst to come".

[12:34:30] <+Tigerman> over the crisis entering now as trader is very and I say again very tought
[12:35:11] <+Tigerman> yep also inflation destroy your purchase power
[12:35:20] <@wrbtrader> New traders today need to have everything in place before they get involve in today's markets...in comparison to traders of yester-years.
[12:36:03] <@wrbtrader> For example, if a new trader doesn't have at least 1 - 2 years salary savings from their job...
[12:36:15] <@wrbtrader> Trading will only be part-time or serious hobby.
[12:36:24] <@wrbtrader> They won't last as a full-time trader
[12:36:48] <+T4n_paper> They can save, spend or invest with money
[12:36:55] <@wrbtrader> Everything getting more expensive in a very LOW VOLATILTY market.
[12:37:26] <+T4n_paper> well that should force savers to invest, i think
[12:37:35] <@wrbtrader> Very few things appreciate in value these days...like ART.
[12:37:40] <+Tigerman> yep broker can rise the cost to compensate for less trader
[12:37:47] <+T4n_paper> hold onto devaluing currency based on buying power, or invest with it and roll the dice
[12:38:47] <+Tigerman> but also a broker need to be agressive on low price to atract new trader or not wrbtrader?
[12:39:14] <+Tigerman> as for ART I am ok I m artist :)
[12:39:35] <+Tigerman> I can paint but my skil is as musician
[12:40:09] <+Tigerman> sad if you wanna sell records now is tought too
[12:40:28] <+Tigerman> market oversaturated and free internet download :(
[12:40:56] <+Tigerman> bad for artiast like me good for jobless kid :)
[12:42:14] <+Brian> Shorts Emini TF @ 835.9

[12:59:21] <+Brian> Covered all Emini TF Short @ 836.5 --> - 0.6
[13:12:55] <+T4n_paper> whoa , spike
[13:14:11] <@wrbtrader> long shadows just appeared after the volatility spike
[13:15:54] <@wrbtrader> whatever it was, it caught the attention in Oil, Metals, Index futures markets
[13:30:32] <@wrbtrader> Emini TF futures about a 7 point range and getting tighter on the volatility contraction
[13:31:16] <@wrbtrader> Emini ES about a 8 1/2 point range today and getting tighter on the volatility contraction
[13:32:25] <+Tigerman> long TF 83.77
[13:32:51] <@wrbtrader> Emini NQ about a 19 point range today and getting tighter on the volatility contraction
[13:33:20] <+Tigerman> price move slow as a turtle
[13:33:22] <@wrbtrader> The key market context for today...
[13:33:46] <@wrbtrader> We're stuck inside of yesterday's range on lower volatility and lower volume :(
[13:34:12] <+Tigerman> exit TF all at 83.79
[13:34:24] <+Tigerman> + 0.02 point
[13:34:32] <@wrbtrader> I was watching Eurex DAX earlier this morning...
[13:34:46] <@wrbtrader> its price action told me not to expect much out of today.
[13:34:48] <+Tigerman> no volatility no risk stay in trade longer
[13:35:07] <@wrbtrader> In addition, we had 3 consecutive trading days of good volatility...
[13:35:11] <+Tigerman> yep using dax like a proxy seems a good idea
[13:35:37] <+Tigerman> and also fridays seems boring recently
[13:35:39] <@wrbtrader> Today was due for low volatility price action even though I was expecting it to show up yesterday.
[13:37:23] <+Tigerman> ok I have to got
[13:37:34] <+Tigerman> opss to go I mean
[13:37:39] <+david_uk> we are back at a retest of the earlier 1437.5 level ... how will the mkt react this time?
[13:38:00] <+Tigerman> take care have safe weekend all see all next week
[13:40:02] <@wrbtrader> Creeper Up Movement still active
[13:40:38] <+david_uk> Will 1440 act as resistance?
[13:41:23] <@wrbtrader> Its a WRB target area of 1439 for anyone that had been Long below 1436
[13:41:41] <@wrbtrader> for Emini ES futures
[13:42:56] <@wrbtrader> 1440.50 is a reaction point via the breakdown through that area earlier around 0545am est
[13:45:33] <+david_uk> wrb, my reasoning is different ... let me post a charty
[13:46:32] <+david_uk> check this 30 min chart paying reference to the solid red diagonal line: http://www.sierrachart.com/userimages/u ... 293352.png
[13:46:46] <+david_uk> we shall see whether it turns out to be a resistance level or not
[13:47:26] <+david_uk> there are actually a number of possible grounds why 1440 could turn out to be a 'bridge too far' but that red diagonal is one of them
[13:47:49] <@wrbtrader> Ok
[13:48:35] <+david_uk> wrb, the solid red line was the first line I drew (some days back) and the dotted rewd lines are simply parallels off that first line
[13:49:24] <+david_uk> 78.6% retracement is another reason (the 78.6% line comes in at 1441.25
[13:49:43] <@wrbtrader> Your red line and/or 1440 is inside a WRB Zone via the interval 0530am - 0600am est
[13:50:10] <Fleneer> hello
[13:50:10] <+david_uk> If you say so (I stilol haven't read your chapters)
[13:50:18] <@wrbtrader> That's the first WRB Hidden GAP in reaction to a key market event (basic tutorial chapter 2)
[13:50:20] <@wrbtrader> :)
[13:50:42] <@wrbtrader> Simply, we can call it sushi mamma...
[13:50:51] <@wrbtrader> We're still on the same page :)
[13:51:42] <@wrbtrader> Its a great profit target for any Longs that occurred below it
[13:51:44] <+david_uk> the fdax is trading below yesterday's fdax lows ... that is another reason why I believe these mkts are not bullish
[13:52:51] <+Senn-> Shorts Emini TF @ 839.1 «« simulator »»
[13:52:55] <+david_uk> I think people should 'play around' with long term trendlines (including broken trend lines) which is why you find these on many of my charts
[13:53:13] <@wrbtrader> Intermarket Analysis with Treasury Futures (ZB) and Eurex Fixed Income Futures (BUND)...they've been bullish since mid September.
[13:53:14] <+david_uk> broken trend lines can and do reassert themselves later on
[13:53:22] <@wrbtrader> From a key WRb Zone price area
[13:53:44] <@wrbtrader> In contrast, Emini futures have been Bearish
[13:53:54] <+david_uk> oh, and trend lines, simple as they are, can be very useful I find
[13:54:39] <@wrbtrader> BUND and ZB need to go a "little higher" before reaching a key resistance area.
[13:54:59] <@wrbtrader> That means Eminis has a "little lower" to go before reaching a key support area.
[13:55:12] <+david_uk> I have to admit I really only look at the indices
[13:56:03] <@wrbtrader> If/when that happens...hopefully we don't go into some crazy low volatility tight trading range.
[13:56:56] <@wrbtrader> Yeah, I've been globally watching the markets since mid 1990s when I saw them becoming more "inter-connected" during the Dot com days
[13:57:39] <@wrbtrader> Before that, I only payed attention to Treasuries and Oil futures...those were my primary trading instruments back then.
[14:00:19] <@wrbtrader> Oil CL futures spiking down.
[14:02:28] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 839.10 -> small size

[14:08:54] <+T4n_paper> costing me
[14:10:55] <@wrbtrader> Hopefully we don't get another close like yesterday...
[14:11:04] <@wrbtrader> Volatility dissappeared on the close
[14:11:15] <@wrbtrader> A strange thing to see
[14:12:07] <@wrbtrader> One thing useful to know about "low volatility tight trading ranges"...
[14:12:28] <@wrbtrader> Any volatility spikes "inside of them" are eventually retraced
[14:12:52] <@wrbtrader> If they don't get retraced...good chance of a BreakOut of the tight trading range
[14:17:38] <+T4n_paper> Shorts TF @ 838.4 -> small size «« sim »»

[14:28:07] <@wrbtrader> Price action won't get better unless we get a nice volatility surprise with continuation.
[14:29:17] <@wrbtrader> volatility spike followed by long lower shadow
[14:29:21] <+T4n_paper> yes, for some reason i'm sucked into low vol trading

[16:06:08] <@wrbtrader> Warning - October will be tougher than September
[16:06:17] <+canaandog> hard to see how
[16:06:30] <@wrbtrader> :)
[16:06:57] <@wrbtrader> We're slowly reverting back to the type of volatility we had just PRIOR to the 2008 financial crisis.
[16:07:24] <@wrbtrader> Maybe there's another crisis on the horizon
[16:09:01] <@wrbtrader> All the record low volatility sessions have the following:
[16:09:21] <@wrbtrader> 1) Tight tick range in the minutes after the regular session close.
[16:09:32] <@wrbtrader> 2) Low volatility market opens.
[16:10:10] <@wrbtrader> 3) Unusual number of trading days stuck inside the range of a "most recent" trend day
[16:11:06] <@wrbtrader> 4) You'll notice discussion forum (not chat rooms) like BigMikeTrading.com, EliteTrader.com, Traderslaboratory.com, ForexFactory.com and many others...
[16:11:20] <@wrbtrader> LESS traders actively posting.
[16:11:56] <@wrbtrader> That's what I'm noticing now.
[16:13:55] <+canaandog> tough conditons to learn, as you pointed out earlier
[16:15:20] <+T4n_paper> well for the month, 138 trade entries, -180 profit before comish
[16:15:33] <+T4n_paper> rough
[16:16:28] <@wrbtrader> T4n...is that dollars or points in TF ?
[16:16:52] <+canaandog> lunchtime. lengua tacos. have a good weekend everyone
[16:17:02] <+T4n_paper> dollars
[16:17:16] <+T4n_paper> so -1.8
[16:18:12] <@wrbtrader> This month is my lowest month of the year so far and I think it will get worst.
[16:19:00] <@wrbtrader> I'm up around 14k for the month...about 6k below my average
[16:20:15] <+T4n_paper> i'm not sure how i can be more consistant with wins
[16:20:48] <+T4n_paper> and comisions kill
[16:21:18] <@wrbtrader> T4n...you're at a distinct disadvantage.
[16:21:32] <@wrbtrader> You're trading Emini TF at its worst time periods.
[16:21:44] <@wrbtrader> You're unable to trade it at its best time periods.
[16:22:01] <@wrbtrader> Meaning...you're not here during its best time periods.
[16:22:28] <@wrbtrader> In addition, it doesn't seem like you're willing to switch to a trading instrument that's more suitable for your availability.
[16:22:49] <+T4n_paper> i miss the am, but i should still be able to make some decent decisions trading the rest of the day
[16:23:30] <+T4n_paper> and i did consider switching to NQ
[16:23:39] <@wrbtrader> I have a golden rule I only break once in awhile as in rarely do I break this rule...
[16:24:05] <@wrbtrader> If I miss trading something in its first 2 hours of session...
[16:24:11] <@wrbtrader> I don't trade it at all.
[16:24:20] <+T4n_paper> sheesh
[16:25:03] <+T4n_paper> what are you gaining watching it, that you could nto gain simply looking back at it later in the day?
[16:25:31] <@wrbtrader> Looking at hindsight charts doesn't give you that feel for the price action.
[16:25:52] <+T4n_paper> sure for testing purposes
[16:26:07] <@wrbtrader> No...ALWAYS
[16:26:18] <@wrbtrader> For example...
[16:26:21] <+T4n_paper> but i can glanse back and see " what happened" earlir
[16:26:30] <@wrbtrader> That's hindsight
[16:26:34] <@wrbtrader> :)
[16:26:44] <@wrbtrader> You didn't experience it in real-time.
[16:27:37] <@wrbtrader> It's why I'm unable to trade my favorite trading instruments...
[16:27:40] <+T4n_paper> well, switching to NQ won't aid me there
[16:27:49] <@wrbtrader> I'm not available when they first open.
[16:28:09] <@wrbtrader> T4n...your solution is simple.
[16:28:23] <@wrbtrader> You know when you're available for trading...
[16:28:45] <@wrbtrader> What's you hours of availability 12pm - 5pm est ?
[16:28:58] <@wrbtrader> You only have that 5 hour window
[16:29:01] <@wrbtrader> ?
[16:29:09] <+T4n_paper> i'll check
[16:29:36] <+T4n_paper> thats about typical i guess
[16:29:52] <+T4n_paper> i was early today cuz i wanted to make money :)
[16:30:12] <+david_uk> and did you T4n?
[16:30:13] <+T4n_paper> last day of the week
[16:30:27] <@wrbtrader> What time is it right now for you ?
[16:30:37] <+T4n_paper> 1 am
[16:30:44] <@wrbtrader> Ok...that's what I thought
[16:30:47] <+T4n_paper> i work nights though
[16:30:56] <+T4n_paper> "work" haha
[16:31:12] <+T4n_paper> but yes, i cannot be here in the AM no matter what
[16:31:24] <+david_uk> where are you located T4n, somewhere further east than the mid-East?
[16:31:31] <+T4n_paper> duk, no -.4
[16:31:45] <+T4n_paper> mid east yep
[16:32:12] <@wrbtrader> T4n...you at work or asleep when Hang Seng HSI futures opens ?
[16:32:32] <+T4n_paper> I am not sure actually
[16:32:41] <@wrbtrader> What about the DAX futures ?
[16:32:57] <+T4n_paper> i dont follow that either
[16:33:05] <+david_uk> wrb, that is a very difficulot index to trade from what I have always been told ... with a lunch break inbetween morning and afternoon sessions :)
[16:33:25] <+david_uk> and the fdax makes all the US indices look tamer
[16:33:34] <+T4n_paper> i watched HSI only one week
[16:33:42] <@wrbtrader> DAX is a lot easier to trade when comparing to missing the best time to trade Emini TF futures :)
[16:33:44] <+T4n_paper> on a trial IB software
[16:34:49] <@wrbtrader> Yeah...T4n...you need to sit down and determine what markets are open PRIOR to you going to work and AFTER you get home from work.
[16:35:00] <+david_uk> may be but the daily range is something like 100 to 150 points on average and each point is worth Euros 25 so 100 fdax points = 2500 euros a day and 150 fdax pts something like 3250 euros per day ... not at all something for a novice
[16:35:12] <@wrbtrader> Then look to see if any of those markets have their first 2 hours of trading when you're available.
[16:35:50] <@wrbtrader> Right now trading the Emini TF ONLY at its worst time while ignoring other trading instruments...
[16:35:58] <@wrbtrader> Not good :(
[16:36:25] <+T4n_paper> i'll look into it, and trading software as well
[16:36:37] <+T4n_paper> TOS does not support HSI
[16:37:17] <@wrbtrader> Some brokers support HSI futures
[16:37:30] <@wrbtrader> Some brokers support Eurex and Euronext futures
[16:37:57] <+david_uk> wrb, for sure the opening couiple of hours of any mkt tends to be that mkt's most volatile part but if you look at a 60 min chart say, one can look for the periods where one gets a meaningful change in trend say with a simple 1-2-3 reversal? May that be worth looking at?
[16:37:57] <@wrbtrader> Your time zone puts you at a disadvantage for trading Emini TF futures or any other Emini futures.
[16:38:36] <@wrbtrader> david...maybe you're missing the issue.
[16:38:40] <@wrbtrader> Its his time zone.
[16:38:52] <@wrbtrader> He needs to trade something more suitable to his time zone.
[16:39:32] <@wrbtrader> That's a tough task to do...
[16:39:43] <@wrbtrader> Start trading as soon as you get home from work.
[16:39:53] <@wrbtrader> I've NEVER met anyone that could do it.
[16:40:15] <+T4n_paper> i only trade from the office mark
[16:40:32] <@wrbtrader> T4n...
[16:40:41] <+T4n_paper> i show up to "work" and start watching the market
[16:40:49] <@wrbtrader> If you use Google, there's a time zone map of trading instruments out there
[16:40:55] <@wrbtrader> I saw it once a few years ago.
[16:41:19] <@wrbtrader> It lets you know what trading instruments are suitable for your time zone.
[16:41:27] <@wrbtrader> You should try to find that map...
[16:41:53] <@wrbtrader> Then test your trading on those trading instruments shown to correlate with your availability.
[16:41:57] <+T4n_paper> ok, appreciate it
[16:42:16] <@wrbtrader> You have access to computer OUTSIDE of work ??
[16:42:20] <+T4n_paper> i'll look into both dax and hsi
[16:42:21] <@wrbtrader> for trading purposes
[16:42:31] <+T4n_paper> no need mark, i work or sleep
[16:42:43] <+T4n_paper> not much in between
[16:43:22] <@wrbtrader> For me being on the Eastern Time Zone of the U.S.
[16:43:36] <@wrbtrader> I can't even trade the best trading instrument for my trading style.
[16:44:05] <@wrbtrader> Instead, I trade what's suitable for my availability even though its not the best trading instrument for me.
[16:44:31] <+T4n_paper> good ability to have
[16:44:40] <+T4n_paper> well, i'm super hungry now, gotta go
[16:44:50] <+T4n_paper> i'll read anything posted later
[16:44:58] <+T4n_paper> seeay
[16:45:03] <+david_uk> I strongly urge a beginner against trading for real money with either the HSI or the FDAX ... both are rodeo rides
[16:45:13] <+david_uk> here are two 60 min es charts
[16:45:38] <+david_uk> they cover firstly the big picture and then a closer look at fewer days worth pof trading
[16:45:38] <@wrbtrader> david...good advice but he's not a beginner
[16:46:06] <+david_uk> all session charts, here they are http://www.sierrachart.com/userimages/u ... 495044.png
[16:46:24] <+david_uk> http://www.sierrachart.com/userimages/u ... 010288.png
[16:46:43] <@wrbtrader> DAX, EuroFX and Hang Seng are my best trading instruments.
[16:47:00] <+david_uk> the purpose is to show that one can consider swing trades regardless of when during the day one appears ready and able to trade (imho that is)
[16:47:16] <@wrbtrader> Yet, I'm not available to trade their regular session openings.
[16:48:06] <@wrbtrader> Swing trading and Position Trading is the next best option assuming one is available for such.
[16:48:24] <@wrbtrader> I'm not...reason why I'm only able to swing trade a few times per year :(
[16:48:59] <+david_uk> my apologies, I wrongly assumed T4n was prhaps a beginner (sorry T4n)
[16:49:48] <@wrbtrader> There's only one beginner in here and he hasn't logged in for awhile :)
[16:49:56] <@wrbtrader> That's Leo
[16:50:17] <@wrbtrader> I think he said he'll be gone a few days
[16:51:20] <@wrbtrader> If I was in Europe...my income would be 3x its current level.
[16:51:57] <@wrbtrader> The time zone difference kills it for me
[16:53:05] <@wrbtrader> Trading while at work or tired AFTER work...
[16:53:10] <+david_uk> well I have a lot to learn wrb ... I am here in the 'best' time zone (the UK's) and I am not earning 3x your avg but maybe one day lol
[16:53:30] <@wrbtrader> david...if I was in Europe...
[16:53:54] <+david_uk> come on over :))
[16:54:12] <@wrbtrader> I would only trade DAX, (maybe FTSE100), EuroFX 6E and Hang Seng HSI futures
[16:54:18] <@wrbtrader> for day trades
[16:54:25] <@wrbtrader> I would swing trade Eurex BUND
[16:54:40] <@wrbtrader> Position trade Forex EurUsd only
[16:55:50] <@wrbtrader> That's what I did in the past when I spent my summers in France and a few years when I lived in Seoul, Korea
[16:57:08] <+david_uk> I have to go now wrb ... nice talking to you (I shall try and read through your free stuff over the weekend) ... enjoy your weekend all ... see you next week
[16:57:18] <@wrbtrader> Swing trading the Emini futures from North America is "too tough" for me.
[16:57:37] <@wrbtrader> lose too much sleep worring about the trade position
[16:57:54] <@wrbtrader> Take care all and enjoy the weekend.
[16:58:26] <@wrbtrader> October will be a record for "low volatility" unless something unusual happens in the markets involving "global events".
[17:03:05] <@wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - This chat room is only for traders using key concepts from WRB Analysis Tutorial Chapters 1, 2, 3 or the Fading Volatility Breakout (FVB) basic trade signal strategy. -------------------------

#TheStrategyLab is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action only trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience

The purpose of #TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called #VolatilityTradingTSL or #SwingTradingTSL and they're not allowed to do such in #TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that #TheStrategyLab is a serious professional trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
