I have added a chart where I use 15 minute chart for WRB analysis. The candlestick chart is dated 7th of December. The 3 intervals before each WRB marked indicate contracting volatility, and the WRB itself indicates expanding volatility.

My pre-open trade of the day for me, looking for expansion of WRB on breakout. 1500 tick candlestick chart. Notice first arrow pointing to WRB right to border of breakout. Next candle turns out to be hidden gap WRB. Used the expansion for signal breakout. Long at 2006.00...stop loss placed at 2003.00, took profit at the end of a run of last hidden gab WRB at 2016.

Still not sure if this is the proper way for trading the WRB...however worked out this time for 10 points.

Probably could have got into the trade a little early about 4 candles earlier, but was unsure if it was a WRB...size was very close to candle previous to it.

Hi,

You have title this thread as "Chapter 1 DOK".

Thus, its best you clearly identify WRBs and WRB Hidden GAP intervals for the DOK instead of calling everything a WRB because there's a huge difference between WRB interval versus WRB Hidden GAP interval.

In other words, you have your arrows pointing at both WRB and WRB Hidden GAP intervals while ignoring other WRB Hidden GAP intervals on your chart. Thus, I'm confused about what your arrows are highlighting. You should just keep it simple...make one chart that highlights only WRB intervals that are not WRB Hidden GAP intervals. Then make another chart that only highlights WRB Hidden GAP intervals or just keep it all on one chart and color your arrows. Just read the DOKs by others that differentiated their WRB Hidden GAP intervals versus the WRB intervals.

Also, if you want to discuss trades...you should not do such in your DOK threads. Instead, make another thread about trade discussions via your trade method considering chapters 1 and 2 do not involve trade signals. In contrast, chapter 3 involves your trade signals being used as WRB Zones. Thus, in chapter 3...you will need to explain the general concept of your trade strategy and then highlight the WRB Zone that's derived from your trade signal.

As a reminder, the concept of WRB Analysis is that trade signals are not valid unless they share a tick with an unfilled WRB Zone. Your source of WRB Zones is chapter 2 and 3. Simply, if you're going to talk about trade signals...make a separate thread and then explain the unfilled WRB Zone you used in which your trade signal is sharing a tick with that unfilled WRB Zone.

M.A. Perry

I hope this chart is less confusing. 15 minute chart of ES mini. Sorry about posting my trades in this area.

Hi,

Yes, your chart is confusing still because your getting mixed up about the definition of WRB versus WRB Hidden GAP.

Some of your arrows are calling a WRB Hidden GAP interval just a WRB and some of your arrows are calling some intervals a WRB Hidden GAP when the interval is not a WRB Hidden GAP.

Thus, you need to review carefully chapter 1 and I highly recommend you read some of the DOKs posted by others so that you can see the difference in your identification. DOKs by others that I'm talking about are the ones where you see me reply to the user and then I use words like its a good or excellent DOK.

Example @ viewtopic.php?f=61&t=2908

M.A. Perry
