Purpose of WRB Analysis is to give the trader a better understanding of the price action he/she is trading and/or improve the performance of their trade signal strategies.

Yet, many new clients of the WRB Analysis Advance Tutorial Chapters 4 - 12 are shocked to find out that they actually have a learning / application route of the education content that they've purchased. It's very simple but it is work. A new client can stay on any education section as long as they want, ask questions until they've mastered the education content in that section via providing proof of their learning in posting the required DOKs (Demonstration Of Knowledge). Next, the documenting/journaling of their trades in images of their broker trade execution platform (simulator or real money) and the quantitative statistical analysis of their trading via any of the recommended professional trade journal software to verify their application of the key concepts...

The key two things you must remember about the learning/application process are the following:

Image 1) You must verify your learning via DOKs (demonstration of knowledge) of the WRB Analysis Free Study Guide along with doing the same with your trade signal strategy merged with key concepts from the free study guide.

Simply, you must have a trade signal strategy to use with the WRB Analysis Free Study Guide or you can post the qualification information for access to our free trade signal strategy called the Fading Volatility Breakout (FVB) trade strategy.

The DOKs involves a DOK of tutorial chapter 1, DOK of at least one swing point price action definition from tutorial chapter 2 and DOK of at least one strong continuation price action definition from tutorial chapter2.

That's a minimum total of three DOKs that must be posted prior to being allowed access to the education content you've purchased. Yet, most of our clients post the DOKs in their private threads and then interact with TheStrategyLab via asking questions involving WRB Analysis.

Image 2) You must verify your application via images of timestamp trade fills in your broker trade execution platform (simulator) that correlate with your use of the key concepts in the WRB Analysis Free Study Guide. It's highly recommended that you use a simulator until you have successful simulation trading prior to any real money trading.

Yet, if you do not have access to a simulator...you should ask us to create a private trade journal for you to start posting text message trades in your private trade journal just like traders do at other forums.

Quote:
Reality, when you post that info (DOKs, screenshot of timestamp trade fills in broker trade execution platform, daily stats of your trading) plus your thoughts for each trading day as a trade journal...you can Self Mentor yourself if your goal is to be a profitable trader. Without the info, it will be impossible for you to help your trading and any short term success is just luck.

-----------------------

Remember the different uses of WRB Analysis:

(1) Improve your entry signal (2) Improve your profit targets (3) Improve your initial stop/loss management (4) Improve your trailing stop management (5) Improve your identification of a trend analysis via the strong continuation price action definitions or improve your identification of range analysis via the swing point definitions even though the swing point definitions can be also used to identify the early hints of a trend reversal.

Don't forget...all images are only allowed to be posted in your private thread for security & privacy reasons (please request a private thread prior to posting your images...white out/blacken any broker account number info).

By the way, I've notice many professional websites like the CME Group requiring users of some of their services to watch videos and then respond to questions about the trading videos to ensure the trader understands key concepts. This is an excellent way to test traders knowledge (learning/application) and its something at TheStrategyLab will do in the future via making videos of the key concepts from the WRB Analysis Free Study Guide and requiring traders to answer questions correctly about the key concepts from the WRB Analysis Free Study Guide prior to being allowed access to the free FVB trade signal strategy, or purchase of Advance WRB Analysis Tutorial Chapters and purchase of the Volatility Trading Report (VTR) trade signal strategies.

Yet, currently the DOKs and images of timestamp trade fills in your broker trade execution platform is good enough for you to verify your learning/application of the WRB Analysis Free Study Guide merged with your trade signal strategy.

-----------------

The catch is that they must first start by posting DOKs to verify to me that they've learned & understood the education content prior to them being allowed to progress to the next education content. DOKs is the easiest and first step in "documenting/journaling" your trading in comparison the next step involving posting images of trades in your broker trade execution platform.

The DOKs allows me to be able to provide proper support. In fact, clients that do not post DOKs or refuse to post DOKs...they are not allowed to purchase any other education content at TheStrategyLab and they are not allowed access to "updates" to the education content that makes the info they do have access to...applicable for current market conditions. This has been the written policy at TheStrategyLab for +10 years although I'm now putting more emphasis on it in the private threads of past users/current users and new clients that ask what they need to do to succeed in trading because too many new clients have recently come to TheStrategyLab looking for a green light/red light trading system (we don't offer one) along with believing in error that they do not need to do the work to succeed.

Below is the "Basic Learning/Application Route" @ TheStrategyLab.com for those clients that say what do I do next for learning price action trading ?

Image Basic Learning/Application Route:

1) WRB Analysis Free Study Guide (tutorial chapters 1 & 2)

Purpose of WRB Analysis is to give the trader a better understanding of the price action they're trading and/or improve the performance of their own trade signal strategies regardless if the trader is a price action only trader or a trader that uses indicators.

New clients often say that tutorial chapters 1 & 2 are the easiest of the education content. In fact, some clients have programmed/coded basic tutorial chapters 1 & 2 and then merged it into their own proprietary trading systems...contradicting the misinformation and lies from several trolls that its too subjective. Also, its the first content at TheStrategyLab.com the requires DOKs "demonstration of knowledge" of the education content. You'll be surprise at how many users of the WRB Analysis Free Study Guide do not post DOKs to prove they understand simple rules of WRB Analysis or lie in the registration questions that they read/understood the WRB Analysis Free Study Guide when in fact they did not understand it.

For example of a simple rule in WRB Analysis...

Qualification as a WRB interval "WRB must have its body > bodies of the prior most recent three intervals".

Furthering this example, to qualify as a WRB body interval...the difference between the Open and Close of the interval is larger (>) than the bodies (difference between the Open & Close of each interval) of the three most recent intervals.

Surprisingly, some users say that the above strict rule of what qualifes as a WRB interval is too confusing eventhough there's many chart image examples by wrbtrader & other users of WRB Analysis via their DOKs. Others will say they may understand it if there were "recorded video examples in real trading conditions".

Overall, most users of WRB Analysis say the above explanation is easy to understand. In fact, many of these users have coded (programmed) the identification of a WRB interval and a WRB Hidden GAP interval although we ourselves do not use codes.

Note: Tutorial chapter 3 is for traders with their own trade signal strategy

2) Fading Volatility Breakout (FVB) trade signal strategy

Note: Only learn the FVB trade signal strategy if you do not have your own trade signal strategy to use with WRB Analysis Tutorial Chapters or you do not want to use the key concepts from WRB Analysis to design / improve the performance of your own trade signal strategy.

3) Advance Tutorial Chapter 4 (key WRB Zones)

4) DCM Analysis & Trade Signal Strategy

Note: DCM strategy helps identify the "current" trend action or strong continuation price action. It's not predictive...it does not tell you what the trend will be 15 mins from now. Its purpose is to let you know if you're trading with the trend or against the trend. In addition, there are a few trade signals merged into the DCM for any user of the Advance WRB Analysis that do not have their own trade signal strategy.

You're required to backtest the trade signal strategies and then simulate trade with the trade signal strategies along with uploading images of simulator trades in your broker trade execution platform & quantitative statistical analysis via any of the recommended professional trade journal software prior to any real money trading.

However, if you know what is a trend and you have your own rules for identification of a trend and you have your own trade signal strategy to use with the Advance WRB Analysis education content...you can ignore our DCM Analysis & Trade Signal Strategy and proceed into the next learning step...Advance WRB Analysis Tutorial Chapters 5 - 12.

5) Advance Tutorial Chapters 5 - 12 (key WRB Zones)

Note: You must upload images to your private thread of trades (simulator before real money) in your broker trade execution platform & quantitative statistical analysis via any of the recommended professional trade journal software that represent any of your trades occurring within WRB Zones from these advance tutorial chapters 5 - 12.

Simply, you gotta do the work if you want to succeed at trading.

Quote:
TheStrategyLab is not interested in seeing images of your daily or monthly broker statements. Instead, we prefer to see images of trades in your broker trade execution platform...trades that you took via the key concepts of WRB Analysis. If you've taken trades via another trade analysis/method...please identify those particular trades in your broker trade execution platform. Reminder: Only post these images in your private thread for security & privacy reasons.

The above "learning/application route" occur in Phase 1 and Phase 2. The most important thing you must remember is to follow the above learning/application order...1, 2, 3, 4 and then 5. Do not skip around the order...it will confuse you and cause learning problems...resulting in delays of you being able to access the advance tutorial chapters 5 - 12 education content. No exceptions.

Reminder, the DOKs (Demonstration Of Knowledge) is the easiest to do involving "documenting/journaling" your learning & trading...simulator & real money trading. It will reveal what you know and what you do not understand. I will be able to provide better support (helping you) when you post your DOKs. If you do not post the DOKs...I can not provide support in helping you understand the price action you're trading.

Yet, those clients that do upload their broker statements (simulator or real money) and quantitative statistical analysis of their trading to their private threads...

Bravo and we know these clients are serious about their trading and they are doing the work to travel on the road to successful trading.
