##TheStrategyLab primary purpose is for you to post your WRB Analysis, post your price action analysis, ask real-time questions about WRB Analysis or post your real-time trades in a timestamp environment...the free chat room is a trade journal of your trading day (thoughts and trades). In fact, if you think the only feedback you need is your broker statements...the free chat room will be a waste of your time and you will increase the odds of failing at trading.

The free chat room is located on the Freenode IRC network along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders that want to talk about your use of WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) merged with your trade methods to improve the performance of their trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the free chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post your real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab Chat Room Review - This is not a signal calling trading room. We have no interest in trading rooms where a head trader tells other traders when to buy and sell because the business model for such isn't suitable for helping traders to succeed as independent traders. This chat room is free and many years ago it was started by users of WRB Analysis. Our job is to moderate (keep the peace between members) the chat room and to answer any questions involving WRB Analysis. Once again, the purpose of the free chat room is for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your thoughts and how you interacted with the markets on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use the chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Thus, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Yet, you're not require to use the free chat room as a trade journal to get help with your trading. Instead, as recommended by some users of WRB Analysis, you can use professional journal services such as tradervue, edgewonk, tradebench or tradingdiarypro for your statistical analysis in combo with our chat room or your private thread to discuss with us the statistical analysis of your trading so that we can help you to improve your use of WRB Analysis. You can then request a private thread for you to share the professional journal analysis of your trading with us for us to review. Therefore, you have many choices. You can use our chat room (you maintain your own statistics) as a trade journal or you can use professional trade journal services to do the work for you.

Also, do not attempt to use our chat room as a signal calling trade room via trying to mimic (copy) trades posted by members. If you do such, you will be KICKED from the chat room without warning. In fact, most of the negative commentary about TheStrategyLab website is by traders after we've removed them from the free chat room, removed them from the forum or removed them from the website for violating our terms of use policy.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reviewing (reading) the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[07:55:57] * Now talking in ##TheStrategyLab
[07:55:57] * Topic is 'Chat room for traders that are using concepts from WRB Analysis to help improve their entry signals, initial stop/loss management, profitable trail stops or profit targets. WRB Analysis free study guide @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum ... 119&t=718'
[07:55:57] * Set by wrbtrader on Fri Dec 26 09:39:03 2014
[07:55:58] ##TheStrategyLab url is http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/
[08:05:00] <clasix> anyone looking at USDCAD H1
[08:05:14] <clasix> https://www.mql5.com/en/charts/7238625/ ... up-limited
[08:05:26] <clasix> this is what i am looking at right now
[09:29:45] <clasix> @wrbtrader why market react some time strongly to CV intervals before WRB
[09:36:25] <wrbtrader> Good morning all
[09:37:01] <Donnin______> gm
[09:37:14] <wrbtrader> Clasix...it depends on if you're talking about a WRB interval or talking about a WRB Hidden Gap interval
[09:37:55] <wrbtrader> Thus, the most important contracting volatility intervals are the ones associated with WRB Hidden Gap intervals
[09:38:40] <wrbtrader> I usually ignore most contracting volatility associated with just a WRB interval that's NOT a WRB Hidden Gap interval
[09:43:45] <wrbtrader> Read this conversation at the free forum involving someone's question about contracting volatility intervals @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum ... =61&t=3437
[09:45:18] <wrbtrader> Simply, its important to understand what type of contracting volatility a person is talking about because the contraction is "different" depending upon if they are associated with WRB Zones versus those associated with just a WRB versus those associated with WRB HG intervals that did NOT qualify as a WRB Zone
[09:46:10] <clasix> ok let me upload a chart
[09:46:41] <clasix> @wrbtrader how to send chart direct to chat room
[09:47:08] <wrbtrader> You got to upload it at the forum and then post a link to the chart here in the chat room
[09:47:33] <clasix> can upload to other free hosting service aslo?
[09:47:42] <wrbtrader> NO
[09:47:51] <wrbtrader> Those charts eventually disappear
[09:48:14] <clasix> where i upload charts for chat in forum?
[09:48:27] <wrbtrader> The forum
[09:50:09] <clasix> in the DOKS thread?
[09:52:59] <wrbtrader> Yes @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum ... m.php?f=61
[09:53:27] <wrbtrader> If it doesn't involve WRB Analysis...you can post your chart ANYWHERE at the forum
[09:54:12] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2435.00 -> small size
[09:54:28] <wrbtrader> 5 contracts
[09:57:08] <clasix> @wrbtrader on which TF your signal apeared
[09:57:09] <clasix> ?
[09:57:39] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2435.00 --> 0
[09:57:47] <wrbtrader> 15min chart
[09:59:09] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2435.25 -> small size
[09:59:15] <wrbtrader> re-entry
[10:00:00] <wrbtrader> pending KME
[10:00:13] <clasix> US500 and EMINI ES are same?
[10:00:57] <clasix> https://www.mql5.com/en/charts/7239398/ ... up-limited
[10:01:18] <clasix> may be i am looking wrong chart or
[10:02:56] <wrbtrader> clasix...a lot of the intervals are different but close. Thus, most likely whatever US500 is using...its using a different data source
[10:03:16] <wrbtrader> That's normal
[10:03:35] <wrbtrader> Normal for different data providers to have "slightly" different data
[10:11:47] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2435.25 --> 0
[10:11:58] <wrbtrader> too much chop
[10:17:45] <TradeSnake______> Short YM @ 21408
[10:18:59] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2435.25 -> small size
[10:19:05] <wrbtrader> re-entry
[10:23:44] <wrbtrader> Just took a peek at Crude WTI CL futures...don't like what it is doing while I'm in this Short
[10:29:02] <wrbtrader> contraction volatility in other key markets :(
[10:29:34] <wrbtrader> I was trying hard to avoid that this morning...looks like I'm stuck in it with this trade
[10:30:07] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2436.75 --> - 1.5
[10:30:19] <TradeSnake______> Covered YM @ 21418 --> -10
[10:30:36] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2437.00 -> small size
[10:30:49] <wrbtrader> 5 contracts
[10:32:51] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2437.25 --> + 0.25
[10:32:57] <wrbtrader> nothing
[10:35:00] <Donnin______> long es
[10:35:55] <Donnin______> 37.50
[10:39:19] <wrbtrader> All the long shadow intervals in Emini ES futures causing problems...basically causing chop or is showing the chop
[10:39:22] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2436.75 -> small size
[10:39:29] <wrbtrader> 5 contracts
[10:39:48] <Donnin______> 3pt stop looking for 10pts
[10:39:54] <wrbtrader> Trade trying to exploit the most recent Long Upper Shadow interval on the 5min chart
[10:40:46] <wrbtrader> Only a breakout of the most recent reaction high would open up the price action
[10:42:51] <wrbtrader> volatility spike in both Crude WTI CL futures, Emini futures, Eurex/Euronext futures all at the same time
[10:43:07] <wrbtrader> Simply, volatility insync in most of the key markets
[10:43:11] <Donnin______> cl an nq looks good lol
[10:44:25] <wrbtrader> even Gold GC futures had a volatility spike about the same time...doesn't matter if its Up or Down
[10:44:54] <wrbtrader> Just needs to be a volatility spike...especially the ones that create a WRB Hidden Gap interval
[10:45:05] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2439.00 --> + 2.25
[10:55:08] <wrbtrader> Emini NQ futures price action still in the upper area of its most recent Up WRB Hidden Gap interval...
[10:55:23] <wrbtrader> Not yet showing any weakness like Emini ES futures
[10:56:37] <wrbtrader> Emini ES futures has now retraced the most recent Up WRB Hidden Gap interval
[10:57:42] <wrbtrader> I hope it doesn't retrace back down into the prior difficult price area of those long shadow intervals where the chop showed up
[10:59:42] <TradeSnake______> New session lows in YM
[11:01:18] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2435.25 -> small size
[11:01:57] <wrbtrader> back below the pivot area or mid-point of those Long Shadow intervals
[11:02:04] <wrbtrader> 5 contracts
[11:05:59] <wrbtrader> big WRB pt1 reached
[11:06:07] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2433.00 --> + 2.25
[11:07:15] <wrbtrader> I'm surprised with my patience on that trade considering my patience (or lack of it) has impacted my trading for the past few weeks...preventing my from reaching "Big WRB pt1's" or WRB pt2 profits
[11:08:25] <wrbtrader> Although profitable...I'm still not comfortable with my trading since my hospitalization last fall
[11:09:42] <wrbtrader> Physically...my doctors keep telling me it will not be until November or December when I will feel "normal" again
[11:09:58] <wrbtrader> They didn't say anything about the "psychological impact"
[11:10:18] <wrbtrader> I guess it may be longer
[11:14:39] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2431.50 -> small size
[11:15:16] <wrbtrader> Emini ES futures doing what it did yesterday...that slow grind lower after a WRB Hidden Gap interval
[11:15:39] <wrbtrader> 5 contracts...no trade signal...I'm just following the volatility
[11:15:53] <wrbtrader> Thus, intuition trade
[11:18:37] <wrbtrader> volatility stalled
[11:19:07] <wrbtrader> gotta be patient a little longer
[11:19:34] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2431.25 --> + 0.25
[11:19:44] <wrbtrader> trail stop pick pocketed
[11:22:12] <wrbtrader> S area of the most recent Down WRB Hidden Gap interval @ 2433.00
[11:37:04] <Donnin______> when this setup happens in trend it pops 10 point but this trade was against 2 levels starting from overnight trading
[11:39:03] <Donnin______> and wrb play it like a pro lol
[11:49:04] <wrbtrader> The Short I had taken @ 2435.25 via one of the FVB Advance strategies although my entry was late
[11:49:29] <wrbtrader> I should have been Short @ 2436.25
[11:49:48] <wrbtrader> just too slow due to over-analysis
[12:04:19] * clasix is now known as Guest88639
[12:13:51] * Guest88639 is now known as clasix
[12:21:42] <Donnin______> i see
[12:22:05] <wrbtrader> Hi clasix
[12:22:12] <clasix> hi
[12:22:15] <wrbtrader> Did you have data problems ?
[12:22:34] <clasix> sorry went for pray and fasting to eat something
[12:23:00] <clasix> no when i disconnect from IRC it take much time to connect
[12:23:01] <wrbtrader> Oh...ok...I forgot about that for you
[12:23:32] <clasix> yes
[12:24:20] <clasix> so when i get disconnect and other users chat here and post chart i will be able to read that when i connect again?
[12:27:37] <clasix> i am also reading the thread you suggested about CV intervals .. so WRB-HGs can also happen between V2 and V1 Zone
[12:31:10] <clasix> one more thing When looking for enteries should we focus more on CV intervals before WRB HGs.. because in that CV intervals decision was made to produce WRB HG
[12:32:09] <clasix> its like normal way of S/D analysis in which its called bases or balance area
[12:33:27] <clasix> some of CV intervals are most important like Pins, Hammers and Engulfs in Terms of Candlesticks
[12:40:08] <clasix> http://imgur.com/a/qGYlW
[12:40:36] <clasix> possible area outside WRBzone limits
[12:50:45] <wrbtrader> Ok...that chart confused me via the very large WRB Hidden Gap intervals
[12:50:53] <wrbtrader> I see now its the hour chart
[12:51:37] <wrbtrader> A lot of banks the past month have been laying off people at there offices
[12:52:15] <wrbtrader> Not big enough to become news just yet but its been happening consistently all over the world including in the U.S. and Canada
[12:52:49] <wrbtrader> A cousin of mine at Wells Fargo saids her bank is laying off staff...
[12:53:21] <wrbtrader> She strongly believes its due to the growing popularity of money websites like PayPal
[12:53:51] <wrbtrader> Seems kind'uv odd but many of the things I do for my own banking...
[12:54:38] <wrbtrader> I have been doing it thru PayPal for the past 7 years ever since there created debit cards and credit cards
[12:55:59] <wrbtrader> Just something to keep an eye on for those the put merit on Banks (banking stocks) analysis to help with their trades and investments
[13:13:17] <wrbtrader> A lot of folks have been blaming all those volatile movements in Crude WTI CL futures and Brent BRN futures on "amplified speculation"
[13:14:09] <wrbtrader> Sounds to me like another way of saying "more traders" entering the Crude Oil futures markets
[14:43:33] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2433.50 -> small size
[14:43:48] <wrbtrader> 5 contracts
[14:43:59] <wrbtrader> nice looking volatility spike
[14:44:21] <wrbtrader> I know its slowed down but it may be just taking a rest
[14:44:32] <wrbtrader> ...before moving higher
[14:49:58] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2433.75 --> + 0.25
[14:50:16] <wrbtrader> early exit (not the goal)
[14:50:23] <wrbtrader> I simply lost my patience
[15:00:44] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2433.25 -> small size
[15:00:50] <wrbtrader> 5 contracts
[15:00:56] <wrbtrader> high risk trade
[15:05:16] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2432.50 --> + 0.75
[15:05:57] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[15:07:29] <wrbtrader> Forex EurUsd currency price check @ 1.1166
[15:08:09] <wrbtrader> S&P 500 VIX price check @ 10.89
[15:08:59] <wrbtrader> I do those types of price checks for readers of the logs so that they can compare my timestamp in the logs to the prices of different trading instruments
[15:10:57] <wrbtrader> Crude Oil WTI CL futures price check @ 42.66
[15:11:55] <wrbtrader> Huge difference in the price action today between Emini ES futures versus Emini NQ futures
[15:12:15] <wrbtrader> Take care all and see all tomorrow

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the free chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Quote:
The free chat room is not a signal calling trading room and we do not believe in the business model of a head trader telling other traders when to buy and sell. Its a flawed approach to trading in which a trader can not learn how to be a successful independent trader.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.
