##TheStrategyLab primary purpose is for you to post your WRB Analysis, post your price action analysis, ask real-time questions about WRB Analysis or post your real-time trades (simulator or real money) in a timestamp environment after you've received confirmation from your broker trade execution platform. Simply, the free chat room is a trade journal of your trading day (thoughts and trades). In fact, if you think the only feedback you need is your broker statements and you decide to not discuss WRB Analysis nor post any real-time information about how you're viewing the markets nor post real-time trades...the free chat room will be a waste of your time and you will increase the odds of failing at trading.

The free chat room is located on the Freenode IRC network along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders that want to talk about your use of WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) merged with your trade methods to improve the performance of their trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader, day trader, trend trader or range trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the free chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post your real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab Chat Room Review - This is not a signal calling trading room. This is not a live trading room...we have no interest in trading rooms where a head trader tells other traders when to buy and sell because the business model for such isn't suitable for helping traders to succeed as independent traders. This chat room is free and many years ago it was started by users of WRB Analysis as a trade journal for members to document their own trades. Our job is to moderate (keep the peace between members) the chat room and to answer any questions involving WRB Analysis. Once again, the purpose of the free chat room is for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your thoughts and how you interacted with the markets on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use the chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Thus, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Yet, you're not require to use the free chat room as a trade journal to get help with your trading. Instead, as recommended by some users of WRB Analysis, you can use professional trade journal services such as tradebench.com, edgewonk.com, tradervue.com, tradingdiarypro.com, stocktickr.com, journalsqrd.com, tradingdiary.pro, mxprofit.com or trademetria.com for quantitative statistical analysis of their trading in combo with our chat room or your private thread to discuss with us the statistical analysis of your trading so that we can help you to improve your use of WRB Analysis. You can then request a private thread for you to share the professional trade journal analysis of your trading with us for us to review. Therefore, you have many choices. You can use our chat room (you maintain your own statistics) as a trade journal or you can use professional trade journal services to do the work for you.

Also, do not attempt to use our chat room as a signal calling trade room via trying to mimic (copy) trades posted by members. If you do such, you will be KICKED from the chat room without warning. In fact, most of the negative commentary about TheStrategyLab website is by traders after we've removed them from the free chat room, removed them from the forum or removed them from the website for violating our terms of use policy.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reviewing (reading) the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[09:54:21] * Now talking in ##TheStrategyLab
[09:54:22] ##TheStrategyLab url is http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/
[09:56:13] <wrbtrader> Good morning all...I'm late to the show today.
[09:56:27] <werner1> gm
[09:56:42] <wrbtrader> Computer problems pointed to a mystery software upgrade that I didn't give permission to do
[10:01:36] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 6688.00
[10:01:51] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 6691.50 --> + 3.5
[10:02:25] <wrbtrader> Here's a odd statistics...the views at my website, forum and hack attemps were 20x above normal when I first became ill in September 2016 (when I disappeared from the internet for a few months while in the coma)
[10:03:08] <wrbtrader> Very odd (suspicious) considering I wasn't able to notify anyone about my illness until December 2016
[10:06:28] <wrbtrader> amazing how this market just keeps going upwards
[10:07:41] <wrbtrader> Nasdaq NQ futures is trailing today...oddly
[10:08:01] <wrbtrader> It usually has been the leader for the past year
[10:08:15] <werner1> indd
[10:20:25] <wrbtrader> A few weeks back just before the Xmas holidays I do some statistics on my trading performance in the mornings when Emini NQ futures is lagging behind the Emini ES futures...
[10:20:46] <wrbtrader> I struggle greatly on those particular trading days while I trade Emini ES futures
[10:21:02] <wrbtrader> That's why I'm just sitting here watching...not trading.
[10:21:17] <wrbtrader> The statistics for success are not in my favor right now
[10:34:34] <werner1> mark ....when you enter a pivot break or before the break ...do you mind if it is a wrb candle...so do you like to see a wrb break?
[10:35:23] <wrbtrader> Depends on the strategy...
[10:35:45] <werner1> aha
[10:36:11] <wrbtrader> If its the new strategy I've been using the past year...I'm looking for the price action to get into the range of the Long Shadow interval...beyond the body
[10:38:41] <werner1> ok thats before the break i think....
[10:40:07] <wrbtrader> I look for the price action to reach the mid point of the Long Shadow interval...
[10:40:44] <wrbtrader> If I wait for the break of the shadow high (long upper shadow) or the shadow low (long lower shado)...I'm just chasing
[10:41:11] <werner1> indd
[10:41:20] <wrbtrader> I've done enough of those types of "chasing trades" that its stressful trading because they pullback quickly
[10:41:40] <wrbtrader> Sometimes I can get out before the pullback with a few tick profit on those chasers
[10:42:37] <werner1> yeah chasing is indd stressful
[10:46:48] <werner1> when you want to take a good look at the shadows then you must zoom in a lot in your chart ..isnt it?...
[10:47:36] <wrbtrader> My charts are big enough where I don't need to make any additional clicks to make it larger
[10:48:17] <werner1> ok
[10:50:52] <werner1> screen size screen distance ...all so important :)
[11:03:04] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 6658.50
[11:05:19] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 6687.50 --> + 29
[11:05:41] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 6688.50
[11:05:53] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 6687.50 --> - 1
[11:09:37] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 6689.25
[11:10:54] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 6691.75 --> + 2.5
[11:11:06] <werner1> @wrb pt1
[11:12:10] <werner1> i took the entry into the upper shadow before the break :)
[11:12:29] <wrbtrader> :)
[12:19:48] <wrbtrader> Energy futures like Crude CL and BRN futures have made steady nice moves upwards this week
[12:34:15] <wrbtrader> Emini ES futures finally got above the range of those dark intervals with Long Upper Shadow intervals for the past 30 minutes of price action
[12:43:57] <wrbtrader> I just found out that my messages on stocktwits are now showing up in the general public timeline after I've been having problems with such since 2012.
[12:45:15] <wrbtrader> since 2012...all my messages on stocktwits about the Emini ES futures ($ES_F) only showed up in my own timeline but not is the public area timeline @ https://stocktwits.com/symbol/ES_F
[12:47:26] <wrbtrader> Rarely do I post on Stocktwits & Twitter but that's only because I became discourage when I couldn't see my messages in the general public timeline with messages by everyone else
[12:47:50] <wrbtrader> That happen back in 2012 for unknown reasons.
[12:48:04] <wrbtrader> Stocktwits said it was a "glitch" :)
[12:49:09] <wrbtrader> I see the user name FuturesTrader71 is still around...still alive @ https://stocktwits.com/FuturesTrader71
[12:49:25] <wrbtrader> He use to be a member here in the chat room many years ago and at the forum
[12:50:06] <wrbtrader> I left to concentrate on starting his own proprietary trading firm...I think in Chicago
[12:50:23] <wrbtrader> I plan to look him up this summer when I go on vacation
[12:50:27] <werner1> yes i know the name
[13:23:21] <wrbtrader> I think I had met him once in person in Chicago the late 1990s that I went to in which my step father had invited me too with some of his co workers at the FED
[13:24:33] <wrbtrader> He then looked me up online via my old user name of NihabaAshi because it was my email address I had given him when I met him in Chicago
[13:24:44] <wrbtrader> I was shocked he remember the name
[13:25:07] <wrbtrader> That was early 2002 or 2003
[13:25:56] <wrbtrader> Meant...I first met him late 1990s and he looked me up via the user name in 2002 - 2003
[13:26:19] <werner1> ok
[13:26:21] <wrbtrader> He was going bald when I met him
[13:26:57] <wrbtrader> I'm going bald now as I approach my 50th birthday :(
[13:27:28] <werner1> hihi
[13:27:48] <wrbtrader> Stocktwits and Twitter has changed alot now for traders...
[13:28:09] <wrbtrader> It seems that most these days are vendors using it to advertise their services :(
[13:28:24] <werner1> pfff
[13:29:52] <wrbtrader> Yet, still some good retail traders posting real-time info about the current price action.
[13:33:04] <werner1> mm must look for my login ....10+ jears ago :(
[13:33:12] <werner1> years
[13:33:13] <wrbtrader> :)
[13:33:42] <wrbtrader> Bitcoin has a heavier presence on stocktwits
[13:34:07] <wrbtrader> stocktwits itself talks heavy about Bitcoins
[13:34:09] <wrbtrader> strange
[13:34:48] <werner1> tigerman wil also trade them i think
[13:35:04] <werner1> he wants to trade dax and bitcon
[13:35:33] <wrbtrader> Yeah, his interest has grown a lot in Bitcoins the past year
[13:36:15] <wrbtrader> I remember when I was in the hospital...two of my doctors were talking about Bitcoins :)
[13:37:08] <werner1> now the children are taking about bitcon :(
[13:37:47] <wrbtrader> True...one of my kids talk about Bitcoins
[13:37:57] <werner1> my too
[13:38:27] <wrbtrader> The fear or suspect I have is that retail traders are starting to navigate from futures & stocks towards Bitcoins
[13:38:55] <werner1> so?
[13:39:37] <werner1> lowers volume
[13:39:43] <werner1> lower
[13:39:55] <werner1> and less vola
[13:40:02] <wrbtrader> The speculation in Bitcoins will dramatically decline and will see more Bitcoin websites by traders that use to only talk about futures...
[13:40:23] <wrbtrader> We'll also begin to see more discussion about "technical analysis" involving Bitcoins
[13:40:48] <wrbtrader> books and such
[13:41:18] <werner1> ok
[13:41:57] <wrbtrader> Long Upper Shadows again in Emini ES futures as the volatility begins contracting
[14:44:00] <werner1> Shorts Emini NQ @ 6703.00
[14:45:13] <werner1> dam snapbacks
[14:45:37] <werner1> Covered all Emini NQ Short @ 6703.00 --> 0
[14:47:08] <werner1> Shorts Emini NQ @ 6702.00
[14:49:15] <werner1> Covered all Emini NQ Short @ 6702.50 --> - 0.5
[14:51:50] <werner1> last 2 entrys where green but fast snapback take me in the red
[14:52:05] <werner1> punks
[15:03:42] <wrbtrader> I remember just prior to 2016 that snapbacks were frequently...almost most trading days...a pain in the butt
[15:04:03] <wrbtrader> They usually prelude low volatility
[15:04:23] <wrbtrader> Hopefully the next week or so does not have low volatility or more snapbacks
[15:04:57] <werner1> i hope so
[15:06:38] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 6704.50
[15:10:24] <wrbtrader> Emini futures trying hard to climb up the range of their recent Long Upper Shadow intervals
[15:10:35] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 6705.50 --> + 1
[15:12:25] <werner1> again green entry but no follow true:(
[15:13:02] <werner1> 1 or 2 points and vroem ...back
[15:16:50] <werner1> vola dead
[15:17:09] <werner1> atr below 1
[15:18:40] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 6706.50
[15:19:38] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 6708.25 --> + 1.75
[15:19:52] <werner1> @wrb pt1
[15:51:56] <wrbtrader> Nice up surge going into the 4pm est rush hour traffic
[15:52:07] <werner1> yeah
[15:52:20] <wrbtrader> Price action climbed the range of its most recent Long Upper Shadow intervals
[15:53:02] <werner1> i didnt have the guts to take it :(....chase...brr
[16:18:00] <wrbtrader> You had more guts to trade today than me. I was too afraid of my statistics that show I trade poorly in Emini ES futures on days when Emini NQ futures opens the day lagging the other Emini Futures
[16:18:49] <werner1> yeah i have read that today :)
[16:20:25] <werner1> let hoop for better days ...

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the free chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Quote:
The free chat room is not a signal calling trading room and we do not believe in the business model of a head trader telling other traders when to buy and sell. Its a flawed approach to trading and its a flawed substitution for mentoring in which a trader can not learn how to be a successful independent trader.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.
