#FuturesTrades is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room and any trader can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries involving futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Further, although our chat room is smaller than the other popular chat rooms...we are the most active chat room in posting trades or market commentaries involving futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies in comparison to other free chat rooms.

#FuturesTrades is designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a real time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

In addition, we welcome all traders with their own methods or different perspective of the markets to help keep the chat room diversified...posting trades or market commentaries. Also, if you're looking for real-time education in the chat room involving price action only trading (profitably trading without indicators)...you need to contact us to schedule price action only trading real-time discussions. We'll then have one on one (private) real-time price action only trading discussions with you while you're using #FuturesTrades real-time chat room to prevent distractions in the chat room with other members that are using different trading methods in comparison to us. However, you must first download and learn our free study guide at a different forum @ TSL Support Forum * http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=5

With that said, thanks for reading the trades or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful trade information not discussed anywhere else online nor in any books if you're not interested in scheduling one on one (private) real-time price action only trading education discussions. To gain access to #FuturesTrades chat room...please follow the instructions @ FTCHAT Support Forum * http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5

[11:09:15] <@wrbtrader> I've been trying to find an old article I came across the internet about 5 years ago.

[11:10:26] <@wrbtrader> It was "amazingly" pattern like
[11:10:35] <+ajax-Soc> Glenn Beck has been right....the Liberal Left has joined up with the radical Islam/Muslim Brotherhood......gonna be a wild ride next few years!

[11:13:36] <@wrbtrader> I've contacted them but they basically said it wasn't them that printed such an article with detailed map.
[11:14:29] <+ajax-Soc> :(
[11:14:48] <@wrbtrader> I do remember it was NOT a trading magazine or trading source of the article

[14:56:46] <Time4now> wow pretty good sized drop
[14:58:30] <+Time4now> kind of chopped around for a while before a steady drop
[15:04:08] <codehead> possible lod seen...
[15:04:14] <+codehead> *possible* lol
[15:08:45] <+codehead> i spotted buyer at lod anyway
[15:09:36] <+ajax-Soc> L2308.5, +1, +2, runr in
[15:09:46] <+codehead> nice
[15:09:55] <+ajax-Soc> +4out
[15:10:16] <+codehead> on pb, NQ now setup up for longer frame long
[15:10:34] <+ajax-Soc> great programs, right on the meark.... :) .....got back from errands just in time... :))
[15:10:44] <+ajax-Soc> thx
[15:11:03] <+ajax-Soc> y c dat
[15:11:10] <+ajax-Soc> c how far
[15:11:17] <+Time4now> government shut down perhaps
[15:12:00] <+codehead> well, that would be a treat of sorts
[15:12:14] <+ajax-Soc> codehead....on those charts sent ya, all the ta' lines crossed up, on all three time frames, so knew it would be a 4-6 point run....sweet... :)
[15:12:35] <+ajax-Soc> ya shut it down....throw them all out & start over... :))
[15:12:46] <+codehead> yeah, your signals seem to have similar outcome to mine, seems
[15:13:03] <+ajax-Soc> enuff og these career robbers, I mean politicians... :))
[15:13:14] <+codehead> i also look at multiple time (/tick) frames
[15:13:30] <+ajax-Soc> great codeh.....then merge the best of tow into one, then ya got the best 4 ur eyes.... :))
[15:14:03] <+codehead> ideally, NQ gets a pb here...
[15:14:16] <+codehead> and buy short frame when if turns back up
[15:14:53] <+codehead> that might put us in sketchy-time tho
[15:15:15] <+codehead> where we'll see how many people bet on a bounce to save their butts lol
[15:15:21] <+ajax-Soc> ya found the step up fib # time frames were the best....like on NQ, use the enter the 144tk, then mgm on 233 & 377 tk time frames, the next 2 fib #'s up.....so maintians the order of the Universe, literally....as fib #'s are the math ratios of everything, from atomic shells, all way up to galaxy ratio distances, & everything inbetween.... :))
[15:15:51] <+ajax-Soc> es is 233/377/610 tks
[15:16:06] <+ajax-Soc> same deal/ntry & mgm
[15:16:22] <+ajax-Soc> pb here, yes on
[15:16:26] <+ajax-Soc> eyes
[15:16:28] <+codehead> and, it's best to have fib # of fingers per hand, not to mention nostrils
[15:16:51] <+codehead> USO hod, no letting up
[15:16:56] <+ajax-Soc> lol
[15:17:40] <+ajax-Soc> ya 1,2,3,5, etc.......like my three testicles, all in fib ratio sync.... :))
[15:17:54] <+codehead> seriously bad to not have fib # of nipples as well
[15:18:27] <+ajax-Soc> :)
[15:18:49] <+codehead> unless you're a cat or something
[15:18:58] <+ajax-Soc> almost ss here, but CCI is curling up & c if it leads MACD, as they still ss look
[15:19:17] <+ajax-Soc> lol
[15:19:51] <+ajax-Soc> ya codeh.....finding that CCI I sent ya, can smell out fakeouts the best ever found in 6 years!
[15:20:03] <+codehead> oh cool
[15:20:26] <+codehead> i used to watch a lot of cci, but these days i only use 3 min
[15:20:29] <+codehead> on ES
[15:20:43] <+ajax-Soc> same ratio....3 CCI's in one level, all fib # ratioed & stepped up= see layered effect.....leads MACD & Stoch in turns
[15:20:46] <+codehead> it's a secondary for me, but very helpful in headsup
[15:21:12] <+codehead> i use stochastic of rsi for my leader
[15:21:23] <+ajax-Soc> got the three CCI idea form a million year trader, a freind of a freind....he is right!!
[15:21:33] <+codehead> nice
[15:21:39] <+codehead> i'll have to check that out
[15:21:59] <+ajax-Soc> ya the CCI layer is faster than all than MACD/Stoch/RSI.....have back tested all of them extensively
[15:22:01] <@X> #FuturesTrades Info -> Chat room for traders of Emini Futures (EMD, TF, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX Futures (6E, EC), Eurex/Euronext Futures (DAX, ESTX50, FTSE100, CAC40), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), NYMEX Futures (CL, NG, HO, QM), Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, XLE, QQQQ, SPY) and Forex Currencies
[15:22:36] <+ajax-Soc> slow Stoch & RSI are very similar looks....I just like Stoch betta, but the same info tho
[15:23:04] <+ajax-Soc> programs time now....be weddy
[15:23:17] <+ajax-Soc> ----< 5 minutes before KEY TIME ZONE REVERSAL/breakout 15:25 to 15:30 >----
[15:23:24] <+codehead> stochasic of rsi is *totally* different
[15:23:34] <+ajax-Soc> indu puts that in his room.....he got the times form me, then automated them....
[15:23:39] <+ajax-Soc> indy
[15:23:54] <+codehead> it's not stochasics--it's stochastic of rsi
[15:24:10] <+codehead> meaning it's a tortured rsi, basically
[15:24:21] <+ajax-Soc> I like torture.... :))
[15:24:33] <+codehead> i think robert miner invented it
[15:24:44] <+ajax-Soc> as said, whatever works for one, great!!....gfi.... :))
[15:25:03] <+codehead> one of the best things i've ever seen
[15:25:08] <+ajax-Soc> 2311 maybe ss pt
[15:25:12] <+codehead> leads
[15:25:17] <+ajax-Soc> or bounce here
[15:26:19] <+codehead> ideally, NQ pulls back, finds buyers... timing getting dicey
[15:26:28] <+ajax-Soc> ss2310.75, +1
[15:26:39] <+codehead> cuz it needs time to complete this short term sell signal
[15:26:53] <+ajax-Soc> +.75 out
[15:27:05] <+codehead> then short term buy signal will coincide with longer
[15:27:34] <+ajax-Soc> CCI's curled= get out.....
[15:27:40] <+ajax-Soc> yup it read it rt
[15:27:43] <+codehead> in a nutshell, if dbl bottom holds, timing and everything will be in a buy
[15:28:02] <+ajax-Soc> good info
[15:28:56] <+codehead> stoch of rsi trying to cross up here
[15:28:59] <+ajax-Soc> next programs @ 3:40
[15:30:15] <+codehead> the problem here, of course, is we had a doji yesty, then gap and sell off all day today
[15:30:39] <+codehead> so, you have to considered how many people are still trapped long and have to bail at any price into the close
[15:31:05] <+codehead> however, decent signal for up at the moment
[15:31:21] <+ajax-Soc> L2312.50, +.5, +1
[15:31:33] <+ajax-Soc> y, got it
[15:31:47] <+codehead> plus, i was tape reading at ES lod, and that's when i suggested lod might be in
[15:32:14] <+ajax-Soc> +2out
[15:32:17] <+codehead> nice
[15:32:41] <+ajax-Soc> pb
[15:32:51] <+ajax-Soc> S1 here nq
[15:34:00] <+ajax-Soc> ya codeh....when Price goes thru that Ichimoku CLoud, almost 100% time in continues....almost never that is does nott even if a half pt or so....is golden.... :)
[15:34:34] <+codehead> hm, interesting
[15:34:39] <+ajax-Soc> like here...the upper clous was @2312, so waited for +.5 for entry= golden.... :))
[15:34:55] <+codehead> i've looked at it, but still haven't had time to spend a few days tracking it
[15:35:02] <+ajax-Soc> yes google it online & see been around for 60 years!!!
[15:35:33] <+codehead> yes, i've spent time reading about it, and have a version fro esignal
[15:36:16] <+ajax-Soc> fellow in another room is a banker....he told me few weeks ago, that big hedge fund mgr that comes to their mointhly meetings, uses it in there Japanes trading hedge funs.....says many hi level orgs use it & have for many many years.....is an industry secret as been finding out
[15:36:29] <+ajax-Soc> ya he has esignal & using it too now
[15:36:37] <+codehead> boy i get a lot of russian spam-bot trying to post on my website blog
[15:37:00] <+ajax-Soc> after I posted it in that room a month or so ago, he talked to her....now he using it....he a big trader too
[15:37:14] <+codehead> ic
[15:37:35] <+ajax-Soc> anyway....just fyoi....whether anyone uses it or not, just for sharing a gloden find.... :))
[15:38:05] <+ajax-Soc> now nq thru top of cloud & wait for exit out bottom @2311.75
[15:38:38] <+ajax-Soc> top @ 2314.....so entry if pb Long
[15:39:20] <+ajax-Soc> so I sit on these corners & wait for Price to come to me....is like clockword....then MACD/Stoich/CCi's verify= a go= hi % wins.... :))
[15:39:42] <+codehead> well, i finally got my business done, so i'll be free to trade the next couple weeks--gotta get back in the habit of placing trades
[15:39:43] <+ajax-Soc> & use 5/21MA crosses too in Price, as they lead all the others
[15:40:21] <+codehead> hm, if you use stoch, you really should check out stoch of rsi, i think it's a thousand times better
[15:40:25] <+codehead> well, at least 100
[15:40:26] <+codehead> ;-)
[15:40:29] <+ajax-Soc> good little symphony..... :))
[15:40:34] <+ajax-Soc> of lines....lol
[15:40:50] <+ajax-Soc> k, thx will... :))
[15:42:26] <+codehead> in a nutshell, it stretches rsi in a way where it's tough to stay in extreme... when it crosses out, change of direction will come very soon--you just wait for macd or cci or whatever to act like it's about to signal, and it will
[15:42:54] <+ajax-Soc> groovy
[15:43:03] <+codehead> for instance, on my longer frame NQ...
[15:43:08] <+codehead> 1800T...
[15:43:41] <+ajax-Soc> thx...will backtest this wkend
[15:43:45] <+codehead> it signal long twice--once right at earlier day low of 2322.75 after the open, and next at lod
[15:44:44] <+codehead> it's in extreme now, but that's a longer time frame so will take soem minutes to cross, at minimum if at all
[15:45:16] <+codehead> we only have 15 mins
[15:45:57] <+ajax-Soc> y
[15:46:27] <+ajax-Soc> L2314.5, +1, +1.5out
[15:46:32] <+codehead> nice
[15:47:15] <+ajax-Soc> thur upper Ichi cloud again...sweet...=$$$$ :))
[15:48:02] <+ajax-Soc> & was rt at 5MA cross 21MA; & CCI thru zl; & MACD thru zl = a symphony of liners.....luv it.... :))
[15:48:22] <+codehead> hehe
[15:49:01] <+codehead> i gotta say, i looked at your charts and well, recognized that one would have to get used to the traffic ;-)
[15:49:15] <+ajax-Soc> & Stoch leading MACD, as always will is real turns....
[15:49:55] <+ajax-Soc> ya, that is the only issue for some....but I like allot of data & like to keep the mind moving & wokring fast....so is perfect for me.... :)
[15:50:38] <+ajax-Soc> & all the lines verify one another, so if NOT in sync, then can see fakeouts real well, why I have few losers in a day
[15:51:01] <+ajax-Soc> average 10-20 trades a day, with 2-3 losers
[15:51:32] <+ajax-Soc> or b/e, if fast fingered ehuff....lol
[15:51:57] <+ajax-Soc> time to switch the ES 4 close
[15:53:54] <+ajax-Soc> L1323.5, +.5, +1, runr in
[15:54:17] <+ajax-Soc> +1.5out
[15:54:24] <+ajax-Soc> S1 here es
[15:54:35] <+ajax-Soc> yup, bounced rt off it
[15:55:15] <+ajax-Soc> also, broke thru top of Ichi cloud on es= golden :))
[15:56:40] <+ajax-Soc> codeh....if ya use it, use the settings I gave ya in email.....it is the updated settings form the original setting.....got off website, as the coder adjusted it to a 5 day trading week, versus 6 day week, when it was origianlly made in 1930's
[15:56:57] <+codehead> ok
[15:58:42] <+ajax-Soc> ss1324.5, +.25, +.5out.....punched thru top of cloud= a quick easy qiki in/out... :)
[15:59:00] <+ajax-Soc> starbucks bucks 4 wkend... :))
[16:01:01] <+codehead> i'm going to make a pic of stochastic of rsi vs stochastics...
[16:01:06] <+ajax-Soc> L1324, +.25, b/e out
[16:01:14] <+ajax-Soc> went thru upper cloud there
[16:02:03] <+ajax-Soc> great if quicker...I'll switch....no holding onto conditioing here....if works betta= use it!!.... :))
[16:03:06] <+ajax-Soc> I tested RSI in past a few times, but what TS has never cud beat Stoch....so maybe there is a newer version availbale....so will look in TS library this wkend.....thx for heads up....always soemthing new to learn.... :))
[16:03:07] <+codehead> hm, i prolly should use your preferred stoch settings instead of default...
[16:03:15] <@wrbtrader> Looks like a boring trading day for most.
[16:03:15] <+codehead> to see how they match
[16:03:21] <+codehead> default looks like crap--lol
[16:03:50] <+ajax-Soc> yes....my setting are all tweekd to the fasted they can be, trust me on that one....hundreds of hours of backtesting to get them perfect....so test those first... :))
[16:04:05] <+ajax-Soc> was great here wrb....yeeehaaa... :))
[16:04:25] <@wrbtrader> I missed the first hour of trading (stuck in traffic) and than missed the p.m. trading session 1:30pm until now via personal stuff involving the kids.
[16:04:44] <+ajax-Soc> ya why neve use default ...like my MACD...use 5,13,13.....is supper fast with Price on all time frames!!
[16:05:23] <+ajax-Soc> ok, wrb.....ya left the cyber bucks for us to get.... :))
[16:05:42] <@wrbtrader> Yeah...I hope somebody caught this trend day
[16:05:52] <+ajax-Soc> yupper... :))
[16:06:43] <+ajax-Soc> ss1323.5, +.5allout
[16:07:06] <+ajax-Soc> theru bottom of Ichi cloud on dat one
[16:07:09] <+codehead> http://oi52.tinypic.com/do2oep.jpg
[16:07:38] <+codehead> k, this is a bigger frame chart obvious--one i'd use to find a major turning point
[16:07:43] <+codehead> like, lod today
[16:08:06] <+codehead> key is that stoch of rsi bends the rsi non-linear
[16:08:14] <+ajax-Soc> try Stoch of 11,8,8....what I use...the
[16:08:15] <+codehead> so, it can't stay long in extreme
[16:08:28] <@wrbtrader> Thanks ajax, codehead, Time4now and falcon for keeping the room a little active today.
[16:08:35] <+codehead> when it gets in extreme, time to start waiting for the cross out
[16:09:04] <+codehead> :-)
[16:09:05] <+ajax-Soc> Slow Stoch @ 11,8,8, 1
[16:09:23] <+ajax-Soc> yw wrb
[16:09:40] <+codehead> anyway, liek regular, a cross is great, but the gems are the cross from extreme
[16:09:53] <+codehead> the way the rsi is tortured, take a lot to keep it in extreme
[16:10:04] <+codehead> and when it pops out, unlikely to make it back there
[16:11:01] <+codehead> k let me try that
[16:11:30] <+codehead> h, this eisgnal one only has 3 params
[16:11:47] <+codehead> looks like 11,8,8...
[16:11:50] <@wrbtrader> Take care and have a nice weekend all
[16:11:52] <+codehead> i what i should use
[16:11:58] * wrbtrader is now known as wrbtrader_away
[16:12:01] <+codehead> k, i'll show you...
[16:12:16] <+ajax-Soc> cya wrb
[16:12:27] <+ajax-Soc> k
[16:12:49] <+codehead> k, looks like 13,8,8 matches the 13,8,8,5 of my stoch of rsi, so i'll make chart of that
[16:12:58] <+codehead> well, i'll use your 11,8,8
[16:12:59] <+ajax-Soc> 13:12] <+iNews> 16:12ET NATO AIR STRIKES HIT PRO-GADDAFI FORCES' WEAPONS DEPOTS NEAR ZINTAN EARLY FRIDAY -RESIDENT [RTRf] .....great more Obuma mania Progressive NWO crud..... :((
[16:13:15] <+codehead> why are we in that mess... oh well
[16:13:25] <+codehead> i don't see what good can come of it
[16:13:47] <+codehead> k, let me upload a new pic
[16:14:39] <+ajax-Soc> all NWO stuff...for real....Soro's & his ilk are trying to collapse all the world govts & create a NWO...literally & really......why all the attacks on Glenn Beck, cuz he exposed them!!!>..... personally have know of their doings for over 25 years & been following their maneuvers....
[16:15:13] <+codehead> k, i made my stoch of rsi also 11,8,8, but that doesn't change it much--should be better comparison tho
[16:15:29] <+ajax-Soc> just was nice to see Beck go public on stuff been telling freinds for years....now they believe......lol
[16:15:38] <+ajax-Soc> grweat thx
[16:16:24] <+codehead> http://oi51.tinypic.com/2iivbfa.jpg
[16:17:01] <+codehead> similar, but looks like stoch of rsi signals sooner
[16:17:16] <+codehead> but pretty similar
[16:17:28] <+ajax-Soc> great let me look
[16:18:00] <+ajax-Soc> yes, very close
[16:18:51] <+codehead> you can see the non-linearity--see how the moves are pushed into extremes quicker?
[16:20:19] <+codehead> the "trading for rocket scientists" guy advocates this sort of thing
[16:20:47] <+codehead> in fact, in his cybernetics book, he said he wished he had invented stoch of rsi indicator
[16:20:53] <+ajax-Soc> ya lloks great....will try to find it & backtest it this weekdn
[16:22:00] <+codehead> john ehlers
[16:22:21] <+codehead> anyway, the difference of that warping shows up better in other conditions
[16:22:37] <+codehead> and makes it less fakey in the middle
[16:23:02] <+ajax-Soc> yes...will test it on the 144/233tks & see how they look in the tighter turns....thx allot chum....always learn something new.... :))
[16:23:17] <+codehead> k, i need ot spend some time on your stuff too lol
[16:23:27] <+codehead> been so busy lately
[16:23:49] <+codehead> checked out the cloud many weeks ago after you mentioned, and sitll ahven't gotten to testing
[16:25:08] <+ajax-Soc> ya the cloud is a great addition to any system....as it can be a stand alone, as some traders use that & Price & that is it!!....others like me, have it in background of Price & use it for heads up to the other indicators for their move & to verify them
[16:25:51] <+ajax-Soc> ok, gotta go....gotta do a home treatment for a 85 yo patient/freind.....he a good old guy & still wokrs his small famr near here.... :))
[16:25:59] <+ajax-Soc> thx again Nigel..... :)
[16:26:28] <+codehead> good talking to you as always
[16:26:43] <+codehead> good weekend everybody
[16:26:51] <+ajax-Soc> likewise... :)) cya next week....will test it all tonight probably.... :))

-------------------------

#FuturesTrades is free and is a serious professional trading chat room in which any trader can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries involving futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action only trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not.

Therefore, we welcome all traders with their own trade signal methods, different perspective of the markets and different experience levels. To gain access to #FuturesTrades...please follow the instructions at the below link.

http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5

The purpose of #FuturesTrades is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Also, to prevent the usual mix-up about our different chat rooms, most of our fee-base clients do not use chat rooms just like most retail traders do not use chat rooms. Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called #VolatilityTradingTSL or #SwingTradingTSL and they're not allowed to do such in #FuturesTrades.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that #FuturesTrades is a serious professional trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: All logs regardless to their location at TheStrategyLab.com website are eastern standard time.
