##TheStrategyLab primary purpose is for you to use the free chat room as a trade journal of your trades via you posting WRB Analysis of the price action you see on your monitors, posting price action analysis, ask real-time questions about WRB Analysis or posting your real-time trades (simulator or real money) in a timestamp environment after you've received confirmation from your broker trade execution platform. Simply, the free chat room is a trade journal of your trading day (thoughts and trades). In fact, if you think the only feedback you need is your broker statements and you decide to not discuss WRB Analysis nor post any real-time information about how you're viewing the markets nor post real-time trades...the free chat room will be a waste of your time and you will increase the odds of failing at trading.

The free chat room is located on the Freenode IRC network along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders that want to talk about their use of WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) merged with their trade methods to improve the performance of their trade methods regardless if they're a position trader, swing trader, day trader, trend trader or range trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the free chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post your real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

Image This is not a signal calling (trade alerts) room. Our free chat room has never been advertised as a trade room and we ban traders for attempting to use our chat room as a trade alerts room for the purpose to mimick/copy trades posted by any of our members.

With that said, thanks for reviewing (reading) the below timestamped trades, price action analysis or market commentaries and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[10:11:57] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2887.50 -> large size
[10:12:05] <wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[10:14:02] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2887.25 --> + 0.25
[10:15:16] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2888.75 -> large size
[10:15:24] <wrbtrader> 10 re-entry
[10:16:16] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached and not able to grab it :(
[10:16:19] <wrbtrader> tough day so far
[10:18:12] <wrbtrader> may get a 2nd chance at it
[10:19:48] <Donnin________> how do you so any signals in a day
[10:20:17] <Donnin________> or high quality signals in a day
[10:20:44] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2892.25 --> + 3.5
[10:21:04] <wrbtrader> The re-entries are NOT trade signals
[10:21:21] <Donnin________> ok
[10:21:22] <wrbtrader> The re-entries were based upon ONE trade signal only
[10:22:26] <wrbtrader> I try to exit trades BEFORE a trail stop is hit
[10:22:59] <wrbtrader> sometimes I make a mistake and will then "re-enter" the trade
[10:23:40] <wrbtrader> That's why its important that I write the word "re-entry"
[10:24:10] <wrbtrader> It tells me in review that it was NOT a trade signal and the trade is related to an earlier trade signal that was identified
[10:25:03] <wrbtrader> Sure it will be alot easier to just make ONE trade and hold it all day
[10:25:09] <wrbtrader> Too difficult for me to do
[10:25:52] <wrbtrader> I think that's why I call myself a "daytrader" :)
[10:26:43] <wrbtrader> The only intuition trade I've taken today was that Short position of +0.25
[10:27:03] <wrbtrader> It was a poor entry...should have had +0.75 had the trade been perfect
[10:28:16] <wrbtrader> Also, another reason for many trade signals because many days I'm not doing re-entries...I just have many trade signals...
[10:28:38] <wrbtrader> On those particular days...I do not trade ES all by itself.
[10:29:00] <wrbtrader> I get my trade signals for Emini ES futures from 7 other price actions.
[10:29:33] <wrbtrader> That's 7x more trades signals I can see in comparison to trading on the price action of Emini ES futures all by itself
[10:29:56] <wrbtrader> That's why I talk about the "correlations" a lot in here
[10:30:37] <wrbtrader> Helps me to focus on if the correlations are good today to determine if I should be using the price action of those 7 other trading instruments
[10:31:13] <wrbtrader> ES, NQ, RTY, DAX, DJStoxx, CAC40 and FTSE100
[10:32:15] <wrbtrader> Stats so far this year 2018...12% of my trades in Emini ES have been via the price action of ES by itself
[10:36:40] <wrbtrader> Summary - Correlation trades and Re-Entries (multiple trades) in reaction to ONE trade signal
[10:36:50] <wrbtrader> Reason for so many trades
[10:37:15] <wrbtrader> The best part...I decide when to ignore them
[10:40:28] <wrbtrader> So far...only 6 trades today
[10:40:39] <wrbtrader> That's normal when volatility is increasing
[10:41:09] <wrbtrader> Warning of overtrading for me is if I had 6 trades today on "decreasing volatility".
[10:41:30] <werner1> hi all
[10:41:41] <wrbtrader> I had that warning late yesterday...
[10:42:44] <wrbtrader> I had I think 4 trades on "decreasing volatility"...reason how I knew i was overtrading while the other trades were normal trades on "increasing volatility"
[10:43:26] <wrbtrader> Another way to look at it...I trade volatility (increasing volatility)
[10:43:50] <wrbtrader> I should be getting LESS trades on "decreasing volatility"
[10:45:38] <wrbtrader> The big problem I have currently in 2018 is that I have too much fear in increasing my position size higher than 10 contracts on "increasing volatility"
[10:45:45] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 7452.00
[10:46:59] <wrbtrader> My psycho therapist thinks its related to my illness in 2016...after returning to trading...I just have not been able to get past a few fears in my trading.
[10:48:01] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 7448.00 --> - 4
[10:48:31] <wrbtrader> I hide a few screens on my monitors now when I do trade...I just can manage the psychological aspects when trading and those screens are up in front view
[10:48:51] <wrbtrader> meant "can not manage..."
[10:51:16] <wrbtrader> Its tough...when I came out of that coma and many doctors keep saying my body/mind is weak and that I'm high risk for a heart attack or major stroke even though I was in great shape prior to the illness and the risks are still high even though I now that I've been allowed to trade full time again by my doctors...
[10:51:26] <wrbtrader> The stress still scares me.
[10:51:44] <wrbtrader> That's life and keeping my size LESS than 10 helps manage that stress
[10:53:48] <wrbtrader> I've been very lucky so far...
[10:54:50] <wrbtrader> I wasn't a smoker, didn't drink alchohol except a glass of wine once a month, exercised regularly, low body fat, excellent blood chemistry PRIOR to my illness
[10:55:35] <wrbtrader> Any of those things (smoking, drinking or lack of exercise) would have made the situation worst when I was in the coma or even death
[10:56:55] <wrbtrader> My body recovered quickly and I had a great team of help (psycho therapist, neurologist, heart specialist, frequent blood chemistry tests, occupational therapists and personal fitness instructor)
[10:57:06] <wrbtrader> Still do
[10:57:39] <wrbtrader> Trading is tought on the body & mind...we got to take care of ourselves
[10:58:26] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 7434.25
[10:58:27] <wrbtrader> You never know when something comes your way in life...accident or illness (e.g. pneumonia).
[10:58:31] <wrbtrader> shit happens
[11:00:03] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2892.00 -> large size
[11:00:09] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 7428.00 --> - 6.25
[11:00:11] <wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[11:00:13] <werner1> pfff
[11:00:50] <wrbtrader> I'm too close to that S area of an earlier Up WRB Hidden GAP interval that spooks me
[11:02:53] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[11:03:35] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2889.50 --> + 2.5
[11:04:40] <wrbtrader> Overall volatility barely increased while the volatility in the Emini futures spiked higher strongly
[11:09:05] <wrbtrader> Got breathing room now that I'm comfortable again with my profit although win rate is very poor today so far
[11:09:43] <wrbtrader> Started the day with 4 consecutive losses followed by 3 consecutive wins
[11:15:05] <wrbtrader> snapback Up...preventing the big Down WRB from converting into a Down WRB Hidden GAP intervals and most likely won't be a v1 Down WRB Hidden GAP interval for a "strong continuation" price action
[11:17:22] <wrbtrader> Correlations are good right now
[11:17:46] <wrbtrader> volatility increasing again
[11:18:31] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2890.75 -> large size
[11:18:39] <wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[11:19:42] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2889.00 --> + 1.75
[11:20:45] <wrbtrader> Long Lower Shadow intervals showing up in all of them
[11:20:50] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 7419.00
[11:20:51] <wrbtrader> correlations still good
[11:21:43] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2892.25 -> large size
[11:21:51] <wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[11:23:11] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2893.50 --> + 1.25
[11:23:11] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 7430.00 --> + 11
[11:23:21] <werner1> @wrb pt1
[11:23:32] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[11:27:33] <wrbtrader> volatility still increasing and no trade signals to get in on that up movement after the prior exit :(
[11:29:15] <wrbtrader> had it retraced after my exit in the last trade back into the range of the Long Shadow interval...I could have done a "re-entry" Long position
[11:29:33] <werner1> Shorts Emini NQ @ 7439.50
[11:30:23] <werner1> Covered all Emini NQ Short @ 7433.50 --> + 6
[11:32:04] <werner1> some res nq here imo @+/-40
[11:33:09] <werner1> a little green here now :(
[11:33:26] <wrbtrader> :)
[11:34:08] <werner1> mental @ tress level :(
[11:34:28] <wrbtrader> Yeah, I'm now at a profit level going into the mid-day trading session in which I can now begin reducing my position size to protect those profits
[11:34:35] <werner1> better too take a braek imo
[11:34:54] <werner1> break
[11:37:04] <wrbtrader> Here's an example of how trading impacts us physically...
[11:38:22] <wrbtrader> During those 4 loses...my blood pressure reached 122/74
[11:38:52] <wrbtrader> Its now back down to 114/64
[11:39:18] <werner1> thats still ok :)
[11:40:59] <werner1> pressure here always over 135/85
[11:41:09] <wrbtrader> Yeah...warning sign is if it goes above 120/80 and stays that way even after I stop trading for the day
[11:42:32] <wrbtrader> Doctors now say 120/80 to 140/90 if OK for someone
[11:42:54] <werner1> so your always working with a blood pressure meter if you tader?
[11:43:14] <werner1> trade
[11:44:12] <wrbtrader> Yes and the data auto sends at the end of the day (I set it for 5:00pm est) to my doctor's office and to my fitness instructor
[11:44:46] <werner1> wow
[11:44:51] <wrbtrader> I don't monitor it after 5pm
[11:46:04] <wrbtrader> I use to in 2017 but not anynore in 2018 after 5pm est when I was allowed to go back to trading
[11:47:01] <wrbtrader> Meant...go back to full time trading in 2018 whereas 2017 was just part-time with an occupational therapist monitoring my trading routine :(
[11:47:42] <werner1> Shorts Emini NQ @ 7428.50
[11:49:14] <werner1> pff must here :(

[11:53:43] <werner1> side line
[11:56:48] <wrbtrader> volatility decreasing
[11:57:12] <wrbtrader> now contracting more

[13:54:56] <wrbtrader> I have not had any disconnections from the internet today...so far :)
[13:55:45] <wrbtrader> I called the technical department of my ISP and they gave me the same advice as my IT speciallst that sets up my computer system...
[13:56:04] <wrbtrader> Instead of just running one ethernet to my computers...
[13:57:22] <wrbtrader> Connect via Ethernet (wired) and Wireless via my...two connections on the same router hub
[13:57:45] <wrbtrader> That's what I'm doing today...so far no disconnections
[14:10:20] <Donnin________> change your router
[14:11:53] <Donnin________> i had freq disconnect

[14:45:18] <Donnin________> when i changed my router it all stoped
[14:45:24] <Donnin________> and got a bette rone
[14:48:30] <wrbtrader> The thing that sucks is that most ISP only allows you to use THEIR routers...
[14:49:39] <wrbtrader> Luckily for me...their routers are OK...not great but OK
[14:51:21] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 7403.00

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the free chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Quote:
The free chat room is not a signal calling trading room with a head trader telling you what to trade, when to buy or when to sell. In fact, we do not believe in the business model of a head trader telling other traders when to buy and sell. Its a flawed approach to trading and its a flawed substitution for mentoring in which a trader can not learn how to be a successful independent trader.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.
