##TheStrategyLab primary purpose is for you to post your WRB Analysis, post your price action analysis, ask real-time questions about WRB Analysis or post your real-time trades (simulator or real money) in a timestamp environment after you've received confirmation from your broker trade execution platform. Simply, the free chat room is a trade journal of your trading day (thoughts and trades). In fact, if you think the only feedback you need is your broker statements...the free chat room will be a waste of your time and you will increase the odds of failing at trading.

The free chat room is located on the Freenode IRC network along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders that want to talk about your use of WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) merged with your trade methods to improve the performance of their trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader, day trader, trend trader or range trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the free chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post your real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab Chat Room Review - This is not a signal calling trading room. This is not a live trading room...we have no interest in trading rooms where a head trader tells other traders when to buy and sell because the business model for such isn't suitable for helping traders to succeed as independent traders. This chat room is free and many years ago it was started by users of WRB Analysis as a trade journal for members to document their own trades. Our job is to moderate (keep the peace between members) the chat room and to answer any questions involving WRB Analysis. Once again, the purpose of the free chat room is for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your thoughts and how you interacted with the markets on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use the chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Thus, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Yet, you're not require to use the free chat room as a trade journal to get help with your trading. Instead, as recommended by some users of WRB Analysis, you can use professional trade journal services such as tradebench.com, edgewonk.com, tradervue.com, tradingdiarypro.com, stocktickr.com, journalsqrd.com, tradingdiary.pro, mxprofit.com or trademetria.com for quantitative statistical analysis of their trading in combo with our chat room or your private thread to discuss with us the statistical analysis of your trading so that we can help you to improve your use of WRB Analysis. You can then request a private thread for you to share the professional trade journal analysis of your trading with us for us to review. Therefore, you have many choices. You can use our chat room (you maintain your own statistics) as a trade journal or you can use professional trade journal services to do the work for you.

Also, do not attempt to use our chat room as a signal calling trade room via trying to mimic (copy) trades posted by members. If you do such, you will be KICKED from the chat room without warning. In fact, most of the negative commentary about TheStrategyLab website is by traders after we've removed them from the free chat room, removed them from the forum or removed them from the website for violating our terms of use policy.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reviewing (reading) the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[09:28:38] <Trendtrader> that's good you stuck to your plan
[09:28:53] <wrbtrader> That's really how the markets for 2017 make their price movements...via the huge overnight price movements
[09:29:03] <wrbtrader> Then the intraday is just crap trading
[09:29:15] <wrbtrader> during the regular trading session
[09:30:07] <Trendtrader> why do you think that is happening?
[09:31:00] <Tigerman______> gm al
[09:31:05] <Tigerman______> all
[09:31:13] <Trendtrader> gm tiger
[09:32:51] <Trendtrader> short 2553 sim
[09:32:53] <Tigerman______> price inside mid of today s gap
[09:37:07] <Trendtrader> cover 2551 sim 1 contract +2
[09:37:20] <Trendtrader> stop to BE+1t on last
[09:37:27] <werner1> gm all
[09:37:31] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2550.75 -> large size
[09:38:30] <wrbtrader> Trendtrader...I don't know why the overnight moves are involving the most of the movement while the regular session is sluggish...
[09:38:43] <wrbtrader> Some say its done by the algorithms
[09:38:49] <wrbtrader> I really do not know why
[09:39:26] <Trendtrader> cover remainder 2550 sim +3
[09:39:34] <wrbtrader> Emini NQ futures retracing easily while Emini ES futures is putting up a fight
[09:39:36] <Trendtrader> ok thanks.
[09:39:52] <wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[09:40:04] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[09:40:29] <wrbtrader> NQ futures looks like someone just gutted it
[09:42:06] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2548.75 --> + 2
[09:42:33] <wrbtrader> good to see a little volatility after a trading session like yesterday
[09:43:23] <Tigerman______> Spx now filled the Gap from last friday
[09:43:28] <wrbtrader> I remember when my old man use to complain about the markets when he was a floor trader...
[09:43:41] <wrbtrader> He would always say "all we need is some volatility"
[09:44:08] <wrbtrader> Now that I'm an adult...nothing really has changed :)
[09:44:34] <wrbtrader> Emini NQ traveling down the range of its most recent Long Lower Shadow interval
[09:44:58] <wrbtrader> Emini ES futures too
[09:45:18] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2549.50 -> small size
[09:45:29] <wrbtrader> 5 contracts
[09:46:31] <wrbtrader> :(
[09:47:19] <wrbtrader> Hopefully this can retest the S area of the WRB Zone via that unfilled Up WRB Hidden Gap interval
[09:47:29] <wrbtrader> It just did
[09:47:39] <wrbtrader> in Emini ES futures
[09:48:11] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2548.25 --> + 1.25
[09:48:19] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[09:49:03] <Tigerman______> price action in Fdax testing resistence of a Big long lower shadow interval
[09:49:27] <Tigerman______> when the dowtrend ended this morning in Dax
[09:56:06] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2547.25 -> small size
[09:56:22] <wrbtrader> 3 contracts
[09:58:08] <wrbtrader> Price action traversing down the range of a long lower shdadow interval but not the type I like to see because that long lower shadow is on a "Up interval" unless I have data problems by a few ticks
[09:58:20] <wrbtrader> reason why I lowered my position size
[09:59:12] <Tigerman______> wrbtrader.. which time the interval ?
[09:59:22] <wrbtrader> 5 minute
[09:59:46] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2548.25 --> - 1
[10:00:27] <Tigerman______> in Spy Spx I have a long lower shadow with dark body
[10:00:37] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2547.50 -> small size
[10:00:46] <wrbtrader> 3 contracts
[10:00:53] <wrbtrader> Tigerman...me too
[10:01:14] <wrbtrader> The contradiction was in Emini ES futures itself
[10:01:33] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached via 15 minute chart
[10:01:40] <Tigerman______> yeah infact in ES I have a sort of doji
[10:01:47] <Tigerman______> simply open=close
[10:01:57] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2545.75 --> + 1.75
[10:02:56] <Tigerman______> wrbtrader did you note DJ or YM are stronger vs oters ?
[10:03:06] <wrbtrader> Yes
[10:03:14] <Tigerman______> that odd
[10:03:32] <wrbtrader> This price action was very odd yesterday too
[10:03:39] <Tigerman______> his price still inside yesterday gap
[10:03:45] <wrbtrader> Felt like I was trading in the "Twilight Zone"
[10:04:34] <Tigerman______> yeah I think if we can do money in yesterday context we can do anything as traders :)
[10:04:41] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2546.50 -> small size
[10:05:01] <wrbtrader> Emini NQ futures traversing down another Long Lower Shadow interval
[10:05:13] <wrbtrader> 2 contracts on the Short of ES
[10:05:39] <wrbtrader> price action fighting hard again...trying to retrace upwards
[10:07:19] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2546.00 --> + 0.5
[10:07:29] <wrbtrader> small WRB pt1 reached
[10:07:52] <wrbtrader> should'uv held longer...trade was not in any trouble
[10:08:57] <wrbtrader> Eurex FDAX futures retracing back up
[10:09:14] <wrbtrader> Lets see what Emini ES and NQ do
[10:11:08] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 6057.00
[10:12:34] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 6062.50 --> + 5.5
[10:12:46] <Tigerman______> wrbtrader... please look at DIA etf is like glued
[10:12:59] <Tigerman______> it moves slow vs YM and vs others
[10:17:01] <wrbtrader> Yeah
[10:17:29] <wrbtrader> as if its in shock from the big gap down
[10:17:57] <wrbtrader> Its moving a little now...upwards
[10:18:46] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2549.25 -> small size
[10:18:53] <wrbtrader> 3 contracts
[10:20:40] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2549.50 --> + 0.25
[10:20:58] <wrbtrader> :(
[10:21:18] <wrbtrader> I thought it would run higher with a rising Eurex FDAX
[10:31:36] <wrbtrader> volatility slowing now in the VIX after it went above 10.70
[10:33:45] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 6068.25
[10:35:03] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 6069.50 --> + 1.25
[10:35:32] <werner1> brr
[10:36:05] <Tigerman______> wrbtrader... are you able to be filled at ask or bid with limit order ?
[10:36:37] <Tigerman______> I mean using a limmit order at ask for a short wait a bit and be filled sometimes
[10:37:46] <wrbtrader> Tigerman...sometimes
[10:38:03] <wrbtrader> usually when I'm trading in slow price movement
[10:39:49] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 6008.25
[10:39:57] <Tigerman______> what I note is ...price ticking up/down in quotes and sometimes my limit order is filled
[10:40:24] <Tigerman______> usually with low size like few contracts
[10:40:50] <Tigerman______> in contrast with more contracts I got a partial fill
[10:41:31] <Tigerman______> my point is... I no see quotes in my favor in Dome
[10:41:36] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 6070.25 --> + 62
[10:41:41] <wrbtrader> At least you got a partial fill :)
[10:41:43] <werner1> lol
[10:42:06] <wrbtrader> I've had trades with "no fills"...I only assume I got my order in too late
[10:42:24] <Tigerman______> so I think we can 't see all ticks in our platform
[10:42:30] <werner1> Long Emini NQ @ 6068.25
[10:42:38] <wrbtrader> I know that for fact
[10:42:55] <werner1> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 6070.25 --> + 2
[10:43:07] <wrbtrader> I first learned about "why" via an experience I had with IB
[10:43:54] <Tigerman______> maybe broker server are near exchange so got the fill , in contrast in our platform is too fast to be seen
[10:45:05] <wrbtrader> Years back, I use to compare DOMs of different platforms...
[10:45:29] <wrbtrader> Sometimes they were insync and other times they would show very obvious contrasts...
[10:46:17] <wrbtrader> One may show for example a fill of a 5 contract trade as 2, 1, 2 while the other show 1, 1, 1, 2
[10:46:34] <wrbtrader> Both with the exact same timestamp
[10:48:24] <wrbtrader> I couldn't figure out what was going on until a tech department at TT said the data is filter in a way how they fill their own clients versus what another broker sees about someone that's not their client
[10:48:41] <wrbtrader> Yeah, I scratch my head for awhile and then just gave up
[10:49:33] <werner1> too late for longs
[10:49:37] <wrbtrader> I didn't really get it until one day IB admitted it filter its clients data of what the users see
[10:49:52] <werner1> djeez
[10:50:22] <wrbtrader> Emini ES futures retraced higher into the range of a Long Upper Shadow interval
[10:52:47] <werner1> ok done here ...cya all...
[10:54:50] <Tigerman______> today is 30 years from Big sell off in 1987
[10:54:56] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2553.25 -> small size
[10:55:03] <wrbtrader> 2 contracts
[10:55:27] <wrbtrader> odd price action to trade in right now
[10:56:05] <wrbtrader> I don't have any documentations of the price action traveling up the range of two Long Upper Shadow intervals as it is trying to do right now
[10:56:30] <wrbtrader> almost like a dual trade signal
[11:00:05] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2554.00 --> + 0.75
[11:01:20] <Tigerman______> I have to go now
[11:01:35] <Tigerman______> not sure if I ll be here in chat tomorrow
[11:02:07] <Tigerman______> so in advance... Take care all and have a safe weekend see all next week
[12:12:26] <wrbtrader> Just a lot of contracting volatility in the Emini futures now
[12:24:36] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2554.50 -> small size
[12:24:41] <wrbtrader> 2 contracts
[12:25:05] <wrbtrader> Emini ES futures traversing up the range of its most recent Long Upper Shadow interval
[12:25:38] <wrbtrader> In contrast, other key markets are in a contracting price action
[12:37:08] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2554.00 --> - 0.5
[12:37:57] <wrbtrader> I'm calling it quits too...early as others have.
[12:38:16] <wrbtrader> Overall a good trading day and good rebound from a losing day yesterday.
[12:38:24] <wrbtrader> Take care all and see all tomorrow
[12:42:09] <Trendtrader> see you tomorrow
Session Close: Fri Oct 20 00:00:00 2017

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the free chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Quote:
The free chat room is not a signal calling trading room and we do not believe in the business model of a head trader telling other traders when to buy and sell. Its a flawed approach to trading in which a trader can not learn how to be a successful independent trader.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.
