##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab chat room is is primarily designed for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Therefore, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Also, ##TheStrategyLab chat room is not designed to be educational. Simply, members using the chat room are not there to teach you how to trade and you will not see me discussing the reasons (strategies) behind my trades within ##TheStrategyLab chat room because those reasons (strategies) are only discussed with fee-base clients in a different chat room. Yet, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational or more active in discussing whatever it is that you're trading, we highly recommend that you ask trading related questions about your own trading instead of lurking (not saying anything) because your primary purpose is to improve your trading if you're a struggling trader. Therefore, don't join ##TheStrategyLab and then be silent. To be silent while using ##TheStrategyLab chat room, you'll be wasting a collaboration opportunity for improving your trading and doing such will make ##TheStrategyLab chat room useless to you.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[12:55:29] <wrbtrader> Yeah, very quiet day since 1030am est although right now the Emini futures trying hard to push higher
[12:55:59] <wrbtrader> I spend most of my time today after 1030am est studying Gold GC futures
[12:56:26] <wrbtrader> It has several nice looking Down WRB Hidden GAP intervals as WRB Zones on the 3min chart

[13:03:43] <werner> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 4439.00 --> + 1.5
[13:05:41] <wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Reminder - Do not attempt to mimic (piggy back) live trades posted in this free chat room. Trying to do such is not allowed in this chat room because I don't believe such can successfully be performed for profits. This is not a signal calling chat room and IRC is not appropriate for such. Those caught doing such in this chat room will be banned without warning including bans on those broadcasting/recording trades from the chat room for sharing at another location.
[13:59:25] <wrbtrader> Reminder - You can discuss stocks, futures and forex currencies in here.
[13:59:52] <wrbtrader> I really don't want to chat room to be seen as a "futures" chat room
[14:06:51] <Stone9> after initial breakout rise in ES
[14:06:54] <Stone9> volatility kinda died
[14:06:59] <Stone9> just grinding up
[14:07:10] <Stone9> not a lot of WRB to work with on 5m timeframe
[14:07:10] <wrbtrader> agree
[14:07:40] <wrbtrader> Its a type of price action thats tough to trade unless you got in early and still holding
[14:07:55] <Stone9> i didnt have the foresight to hold
[14:07:57] <Stone9> i bought the open
[14:07:59] <Stone9> sold 10 NQ pts later
[14:08:09] <wrbtrader> nice
[14:08:10] <Stone9> didnt realize it was gunna breakout so hard and keep running
[14:08:25] <wrbtrader> Yeah, I hate those types
[14:08:41] <Stone9> WRB... do you have any signs you look at when you decide to swing a trade for huge points like you did on FOMC announcement day like week? When you go that 14.5 pt winner
[14:08:53] <Stone9> what makes you try to swing trade for such a huge target all of a sudden?
[14:08:58] <wrbtrader> I remember once I caught a +21 point Emini ES movement
[14:09:10] <wrbtrader> I thought for sure I had caught most of it...
[14:09:24] <wrbtrader> The darn thing continue for another 32 points :(
[14:09:40] <wrbtrader> That was during the dot com days
[14:09:55] <wrbtrader> [14:08:41] <Stone9> WRB... do you have any signs you look at when you decide to swing a trade for huge points like you did on FOMC announcement day like week? When you go that 14.5 pt winner
[14:10:22] <wrbtrader> Only signs I see are involving FOMC announcements, minutes or surprise statements
[14:10:28] <wrbtrader> Simply, the FED
[14:10:38] <Stone9> ah. the biggest KME for ES
[14:10:43] <Stone9> makes sense
[14:35:54] <wrbtrader> On those days...I push it hard when there's a KME involving the FED
[14:36:40] <wrbtrader> I've met a few traders that only trade on those types of days but they are not full time traders
[14:37:10] <wrbtrader> They have another job for their health/medical/dental insurance but they are still traders
[14:37:28] <wrbtrader> They then call in sick on those big KME FED days so they can trade all day
[14:38:02] <wrbtrader> One guy said he makes about 8k per KME FED day doing that for the past 6 years
[14:38:10] <wrbtrader> He doesn't trade any other trading days
[14:41:02] <wrbtrader> I know there are like 12 - 14 of those types of events per year
[14:41:22] <TradeSnake______> Long YM @ 17674
[14:41:31] <wrbtrader> Not sure if one would just schedule vacation time during the others :)
[14:42:00] <wrbtrader> Anyways, still something interesting for those working and trying to determine when are the best days to be trading
[14:45:26] <werner> Long Emini NQ @ 4438.00
[14:49:46] <werner> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 4441.00 --> + 3
[14:50:04] <werner> wrb pt2
[14:54:19] <TradeSnake______> Covered YM @ 17685 --> +11
[14:55:22] <werner> bbl
[15:19:05] <werner> back
[15:23:51] <wrbtrader> Emini ES moving too high for me
[15:23:57] <werner> Long Emini NQ @ 4445.25
[15:24:15] <wrbtrader> It needs to pullback at least to 2075 and the reset
[15:24:31] <werner> Exited all Emini NQ Long @ 4447.25 --> + 2
[15:24:41] <werner> wrb pt1
[15:27:44] <wrbtrader> snapback down
[15:28:18] <werner> wow
[15:28:39] <werner> dogi 1 min nq
[15:33:46] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2074.75 -> small size
[15:33:53] <wrbtrader> 5 contracts

[15:37:27] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 1074.00 --> - 1000.75
[15:37:44] <wrbtrader> ooouch :)
[15:37:49] <wrbtrader> correction...
[15:38:02] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2074.00 --> - 0.75
[15:38:27] <wrbtrader> that 2044.50 should have held :(
[15:39:01] <wrbtrader> meant 2074.50
[15:39:15] <lightenup1> Flat YM 17694 -4
[15:39:30] <wrbtrader> Its the S area of a Up WRB HG interval on the 2min
[15:40:21] <wrbtrader> Also, the S area of the Up WRB HG interval on the 3min chart is 2074.25
[15:41:28] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2075.25 -> small size
[15:41:46] <wrbtrader> re-entry 5 contracts
[15:43:24] <wrbtrader> price action getting a little jumpy now
[15:43:53] <wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Your use of this chat room implies you're using concepts from WRB Analysis for price action trading to help trade either Stocks, Emini Futures (EMD, TF, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX 6E Futures, Eurex/Euronext Futures (DAX, ESTX50, FTSE100, CAC40, BUND), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), Oil Futures (Brent, CL, HO, QM), Gold GC Futures, Natural Gas NG Futures, Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, XLE, QQQ, SPY), Hang Seng HSI Futures, NIFTY Futures, Forex Currencies (GbpUsd, EurUsd, EurYen, UsdCad) and other key market price actions.

[15:49:33] <wrbtrader> a lot of contraction going into the 4pm est rush hour traffic
[15:49:35] <wrbtrader> not good
[15:52:15] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2074.75 --> - 0.5
[15:52:47] <wrbtrader> Emini TF was able to push back above the R area of its most recent contraction area
[15:53:07] <wrbtrader> Emini ES was too sluggish in comparison...I decided to dump it
[15:53:27] <wrbtrader> That's two back to back shakeouts of my Long positions
[16:02:36] <wrbtrader> I'm not impressed with the way this price action closed its regular session.
[16:02:44] <wrbtrader> Take care all and see all tomorrow
[16:03:29] <werner> gn all

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
