##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab chat room is is primarily designed for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Therefore, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Also, ##TheStrategyLab chat room is not designed to be educational. Simply, members using the chat room are not there to teach you how to trade and you will not see me discussing the reasons (strategies) behind my trades within ##TheStrategyLab chat room because those reasons (strategies) are only discussed with fee-base clients in a different chat room. Yet, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational or more active in discussing whatever it is that you're trading, we highly recommend that you ask trading related questions about your own trading instead of lurking (not saying anything) because your primary purpose is to improve your trading if you're a struggling trader. Therefore, don't join ##TheStrategyLab and then be silent. To be silent while using ##TheStrategyLab chat room, you'll be wasting a collaboration opportunity for improving your trading and doing such will make ##TheStrategyLab chat room useless to you.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[09:25:59] * Topic is 'Chat room for traders that are using concepts from WRB Analysis to help improve their entry signals, initial stop/loss management, profitable trail stops or profit targets. WRB Analysis free study guide @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum ... 119&t=718'

[09:29:40] <mtntrader____> GM
[09:29:55] <irza> gm all
[09:31:36] <wrbtrader> The championship hockey game I coached last night in officially ended in a TIE for first place afer 6 overtimes of no winner.
[09:31:53] <wrbtrader> Essentially, we all got tired and just wanted to go home :)
[09:32:27] <wrbtrader> Therefore, two first place trophies were handed out
[09:32:37] <mtntrader____> Wow, long night for those kids.
[09:33:21] <wrbtrader> I rarely see kids drink out of their water bottles but last night I saw most of them doing such in the 3rd overtime
[09:38:07] <wrbtrader> Stone9...I recently booted the users from the WRB Analysis chat room for security reasons (someone broadcasting the comments out of the room without my permission)...
[09:38:39] <wrbtrader> I will re-open it with you the first user and I will then one by one re-invite the other users
[09:38:53] <wrbtrader> Thus, you're going to be in there by yourself for awhile.
[09:39:49] <wrbtrader> Its a slow process while I continue to fix some script loopholes that allowed the broadcast and I try to discover the real identity of the person that did such
[09:40:29] <Tigerman____> gm all
[09:40:48] <Tigerman____> hi wrbtrader... I hope you fix soon all the issue in the chat
[09:41:05] <irza> wonder what benefit there is to broadcast the calls since most of our trades are scalps?
[09:41:06] <wrbtrader> Look at Emini TF futures...its already trying to fill in its regular session gap :(
[09:41:12] <wrbtrader> Actually, it just did
[09:42:17] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2040.25 -> large size
[09:42:25] <lightenup1> Long YM 17442
[09:42:29] <wrbtrader> 20 contracts
[09:43:04] <wrbtrader> I'm just following the price action of Emini TF futures
[09:43:24] <Tigerman____> lg spy 204.58
[09:43:24] <irza> setup in TF futures but execution in ES?
[09:43:27] <Tigerman____> med sz
[09:43:34] <irza> interesting
[09:43:52] <wrbtrader> Yes, most of my trading involves correlating the volatility movement in other key markets
[09:44:11] <wrbtrader> I only mainly do that when I trade Emini ES futures
[09:44:26] <mtntrader____> It's been working for a while irza. From my experience, the correlation gets weaker by mid morning.
[09:44:34] <irza> thanks
[09:44:41] <wrbtrader> The chart of Emini ES futures is not good enough for WRB Analysis in my opinion
[09:45:02] <wrbtrader> That's why I also use SPY, SPX, TF, DAX and so on
[09:45:13] <irza> i usually keep NQ side by side with ES
[09:45:16] <wrbtrader> mtntrader...bingo about the time of day issue...
[09:45:27] <wrbtrader> Its does get weaker and strange as the day goes on
[09:45:40] <irza> i'm guessing reason to trade ES is due to size, u can push more size than the other instruments
[09:45:49] <wrbtrader> Exactly

[10:15:16] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[10:15:25] <irza> nice well played
[10:15:54] <wrbtrader> I think there's still some juice in this but I didn't want to make a trade management mistake like I did yesterday
[10:15:56] <wrbtrader> twice
[10:17:26] <wrbtrader> Eminis doing good so far in retracing the Down WRB Hidden GAP intervals from yesterday

[10:27:24] <winmax60> exit@2051.25 +2
[10:28:53] <wrbtrader> Emini ES futures retesting the R area of one of the biggest Down WRB Hidden GAP intervals yesterday 5min charts

[10:30:50] <wrbtrader> Huge spike downwards in Crude and Brent futures
[10:31:04] <wrbtrader> and now a big snapback upwards
[10:31:16] <wrbtrader> Looks like it going to be a rodeo ride
[10:34:57] <wrbtrader> The biggest trading surprise I've ever read is that most of the big Oil companies have their own private trading room in which they trade Crude Oil futures, Brent Oil futures and other Oil futures markets
[10:35:19] <wrbtrader> I always thought that would be some kind of illegal conflict of interest but apparently its not
[10:35:45] <irza> interesting, nice knowing this
[10:36:14] <wrbtrader> What a game to have...you get to sell physical Oil, you get to fix your price on the sell and you get to "trade" on the side in the markets :)
[10:36:19] <wrbtrader> That's a great game to have
[10:36:49] <wrbtrader> Now I know why Oil companies are amongst the richest in the world
[10:37:12] <irza> make money selling oil and trading oil!!!
[10:37:14] <irza> amazing lol
[10:38:11] <irza> approaching most recent UP BAR 5' WRB R/S zone
[10:38:29] <mtntrader____> That was exactly the Enron formula.
[10:38:54] <mtntrader____> We all know how that turned out.
[10:45:26] <wrbtrader> Oh yeah...I forgot Enron was doing that. They had a state of the art trading room
[10:45:57] <Stone9> yeah. not only that. "insider trading" is not illegal. if you know Oil production news you can trade on it before anyone else. Pipeline blew up or worker strike? You can trade on it before the public
[10:46:09] <Stone9> no such thing as insider trading in commodities futures
[10:46:15] <wrbtrader> :(
[10:46:44] <Tigerman____> hi all again
[10:46:56] <Tigerman____> I got my char Pc crash x today :)

[13:50:55] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2056.25 --> - 1
[13:51:43] <wrbtrader> Not a good place to dump the trade because its the R area of a big Up WRB HG interval on the 1min chart
[13:52:09] <wrbtrader> If that WRB Zone was smaller...its a better trade management to exit at the R area
[13:52:42] <wrbtrader> I'm now looking for a re-entry near this R area
[13:53:38] <wrbtrader> still downside pressure
[13:53:47] <wrbtrader> it has not yet tried to bounce upwards
[13:54:11] <wrbtrader> mid point now in the range of the Up WRB HG interval

[14:01:09] <irza> right on news
[14:01:27] <wrbtrader> Yeah but I didn't think it will react that much
[14:01:39] <wrbtrader> No hype going into the KME by the media
[14:02:01] <wrbtrader> seem like normal discussions
[14:02:08] <wrbtrader> Bloomberg and CNBC
[14:02:59] <wrbtrader> I even fell asleep when one of those analyst had a monotone voice
[14:03:19] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[14:04:45] <wrbtrader> very choppy now
[14:05:12] <wrbtrader> Looks like the market is having one of its "shock and awe" moment
[14:07:00] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2039.50 --> + 14.5
[14:07:04] <wrbtrader> WRB pt2 reached
[14:07:08] <wrbtrader> wild
[14:07:14] <werner> wow vn
[14:07:17] <irza> wow
[14:07:19] <irza> nice job
[14:07:31] <irza> gonna learn to do that at KME times
[14:07:45] <winmax60> excellent mark...
[14:07:48] <wrbtrader> Last time I got something like that was years ago I think via a FOMC Announcement
[14:08:10] <irza> what made u short b4 the 2pm announcement?
[14:08:12] <wrbtrader> part TA, part experience and more luck
[14:08:17] <irza> ok
[14:08:24] <irza> alittle bit of everything
[14:08:25] <irza> hehe
[14:08:36] <wrbtrader> The TA always easy to explain...
[14:08:54] <werner> indd
[14:09:02] <wrbtrader> I can't explain the "experience" in situations like that and I can't explain the "luck" part
[14:09:10] <wrbtrader> Thus, here's the TA...
[14:10:05] <mtntrader____> Gutsy move, shorting just before the news. Worked out great for you wrbtrader.
[14:10:31] <werner> bbl
[14:15:47] <wrbtrader> I shorted the drift down below the S area of that Up WRB HG interval 1min chart I had been talking about
[14:15:56] <irza> can u post a chart?
[14:15:59] <irza> for easier ref
[14:16:10] <irza> when u get a chance
[14:16:27] <irza> or let me try to replicate it
[14:17:38] <wrbtrader> Its the Up WRB HG interval @ 1321pm - 1322pm est
[14:18:18] <wrbtrader> Price action started contracting near that level and then it slowly dropped below the S area of 2054.00
[14:18:37] <wrbtrader> I was surprise it contracted like that going into the 2pm est KME
[14:18:56] <irza> http://i.imgur.com/Hdc4Vmo.png
[14:18:58] <wrbtrader> Experience then kicked in and I Shorted
[14:19:28] <wrbtrader> irza...exactly
[14:20:21] <irza> http://i.imgur.com/nDexUpu.png
[14:20:27] <irza> could i have used the 5' too?
[14:20:40] <wrbtrader> Yes
[14:20:42] <irza> cool
[14:20:44] <irza> thank u
[14:20:49] <irza> valuable lesson for me
[14:20:53] <irza> that trade was huge for u
[14:20:54] <wrbtrader> It was a Up WRB HG interval on different time frames
[14:21:26] <wrbtrader> Yeah, very surprising for me considering my poor trading the past few months in the mid day trading session
[14:22:07] <wrbtrader> I most be around breakeven or losing in the mid day trading session in the past three months
[14:22:32] <wrbtrader> Simply, my profits are not coming from this time of day...
[14:22:37] <wrbtrader> Except for today
[14:22:38] <irza> ya but one of these
[14:22:41] <irza> and u made ur month
[14:22:49] <irza> well done
[14:23:06] <mtntrader____> FED minutes day was a help. ;-)
[14:23:52] <wrbtrader> I'm still surprised it moved so much like that (ALGOs did it) when there was very little to no hype going into it
[14:24:09] <wrbtrader> Thus, usually only hype of a few days can do this
[14:25:04] <wrbtrader> When I say "HYPE" = Lots of debates, arguments and discussions by the financial media for a few days before the FED Minutes
[14:25:21] <wrbtrader> even on social media like twitter and stocktwits
[14:25:57] <wrbtrader> I mainly use those sources to just watch the talk so I can get a feel of the hype to see if there's any
[14:26:21] <wrbtrader> Had I felt there was going to be hype...I would have easily gone 20 - 25 contracts instead of 10
[14:27:08] <irza> i see
[14:28:20] <wrbtrader> I know that type of position size management is tough to understand because it is subjective (not rule base)
[14:28:59] <wrbtrader> Its why I don't talk about position size management in my services but only here in the free chat room
[14:29:25] <wrbtrader> Much easier to explain in live trades
[14:29:48] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2034.25 -> small size
[14:29:54] <wrbtrader> 5 contrast
[14:30:31] <wrbtrader> I'm chasing...should have been Short @ 2035.25
[14:31:33] <wrbtrader> I got no wiggle room on this trade for proper management unless volatility shows up and pushes it down hard
[14:31:49] <wrbtrader> just did
[14:32:11] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[14:32:54] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2032.25 --> + 2
[14:33:21] <wrbtrader> Too bad that WRB pt1 didn't hold
[14:33:47] <wrbtrader> I'm going to say something important that's not discussed in any of the education content...
[14:34:10] <wrbtrader> I monitor my WRB pt1 levels as R and S area
[14:34:56] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2033.00 -> small size
[14:35:05] <wrbtrader> intuition trade
[14:35:20] <wrbtrader> snapback up through the WRB pt1 area
[14:35:35] <wrbtrader> That will be the only time in here I discuss that.
[14:36:11] <irza> thanks
[14:36:26] <wrbtrader> I primarily do that on high volatility days a high volatility KMEs
[14:37:32] <Stone9> thank you.
[14:38:23] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2037.25 --> + 4.25
[14:39:18] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 on that trade was @ 2035.50
[14:39:38] <wrbtrader> I held longer due to greed
[14:40:32] <wrbtrader> and because volatility was increasing
[14:42:50] <wrbtrader> moved too fast for me on the retracement back above 2035.50
[14:43:11] <wrbtrader> would'uv caught a nice spike upwards
[14:44:07] <irza> Shorts Emini ES @ 39
[14:44:18] <Stone9> WRB pt1 = next hidden gap in the trade direction? WRB pt2 is the 2nd hidden gap?
[14:47:36] <wrbtrader> Yes if you're using Hidden GAPs as your pt levels
[14:47:57] <wrbtrader> You can use WRBs, WRB HGs or WRB Zones as your pt levels
[14:48:30] <wrbtrader> On low volatility days...I tend to stick with WRBs as profit targets.
[14:48:51] <wrbtrader> On high volatility days I tend to use WRB Hidden GAP intervals as profit targets
[14:49:13] <wrbtrader> On extreme volatility days and if my entries are good...
[14:49:43] <wrbtrader> I'll roll the dice and use WRB Zones as profit targets in hopes of trying to catch a very big trade
[14:50:09] <irza> trying here
[14:50:10] <wrbtrader> If I'm wrong (usually I am) or my patience such...I can still exit the trade with a nice profit
[14:50:42] <irza> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 39.25 --> - 0.25
[14:50:46] <irza> gonna try higher
[14:52:19] <irza> 15' DOWN WRB S area tagging
[15:03:58] <irza> Shorts Emini ES @ 45
[15:12:29] <Stone9> bulls put up 5m HG
[15:12:32] <Stone9> into prior WRB Zone
[15:12:37] <Stone9> could be good short here
[15:12:53] <irza> Covered 1/2 Emini ES Short @ 39.5 --> + 5.5
[15:13:04] <wrbtrader> nice
[15:13:10] <irza> exit stop raised Emini ES @ 45
[15:13:18] <irza> my turn lol
[15:17:37] <Stone9> nice work IRZA
[15:17:48] <Stone9> bull HG filled quickly on bar turn
[15:17:51] <irza> not yet :)
[15:17:59] <irza> cuz my tgt is 20s lol
[15:18:06] <Stone9> dont worry ES going to 0
[15:18:20] <irza> lol
[15:18:32] <Stone9> FOMC hiking rates in Jun
[15:18:41] <Stone9> ES will be 0 ;)
[15:18:52] <irza> i will married Yellen
[15:18:55] <irza> if that were to happen
[15:19:01] <irza> lmao
[15:20:16] <irza> i'm thinking triangle
[15:20:23] <irza> into the close
[15:22:57] <wrbtrader> a lot of contraction now in the volatility
[15:23:22] <wrbtrader> Hopefully this thing isn't exhausted going into the 4pm est rush hour traffic
[15:23:27] <irza> maybe not enough time for what i want
[15:23:30] <irza> but we shall see
[15:24:29] <wrbtrader> I got my eye on the first Up WRB Hidden GAP interval 1min chart @ 1434pm - 1435pm est
[15:24:37] <irza> tx
[15:24:41] <irza> looking better
[15:24:55] <irza> hoping 5' can DOWN WRB here
[15:25:15] <wrbtrader> R area @ 2035.50

[15:27:05] <wrbtrader> 10 contracts

[15:27:34] <irza> yea triangle
[15:27:37] <irza> u could get the bounce
[15:27:44] <wrbtrader> Hopefully that almost 2 point bounce up wasn't too much
[15:29:13] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2036.50 --> - 0.75
[15:30:13] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2035.25 -> large size
[15:30:37] <wrbtrader> geeesh
[15:30:42] <wrbtrader> sucker punched
[15:31:15] <wrbtrader> speed of the price action picking up

[15:32:27] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2037.00 -> large size
[15:32:34] <wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[15:32:56] <wrbtrader> looks like I'm trading in a 2 point range...volatility tighten up

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.
