##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab chat room is is primarily designed for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Therefore, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Also, ##TheStrategyLab chat room is not designed to be educational. Simply, members using the chat room are not there to teach you how to trade and you will not see me discussing the reasons (strategies) behind my trades within ##TheStrategyLab chat room because those reasons (strategies) are only discussed with fee-base clients in a different chat room. Yet, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational or more active in discussing whatever it is that you're trading, we highly recommend that you ask trading related questions about your own trading instead of lurking (not saying anything) because your primary purpose is to improve your trading if you're a struggling trader. Therefore, don't join ##TheStrategyLab and then be silent. To be silent while using ##TheStrategyLab chat room, you'll be wasting a collaboration opportunity for improving your trading and doing such will make ##TheStrategyLab chat room useless to you.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[09:55:47] <@wrbtrader> won't make the same trade management mistake like I did on the prior trade...trail should have been tighten to prevent the pick pocket
[09:56:55] <Tigerman__> yeah sometimes when we tight the trrail price just come over 1 tick and continue in our planned direction :(
[09:56:58] <@wrbtrader> No scaling out in this type of price action with this type of market context (Greece)
[09:57:32] <@wrbtrader> pending KME
[09:57:36] <@wrbtrader> 1000am est
[09:58:04] <Tigerman__> umh no scaling out because you fear price can change direction too fast wrbtrader?
[09:59:16] <@wrbtrader> Yes...market very negative about Greece right now that any type of "agreement debt news out of Greece" can EASILY send the markets into a huge volatility spike upwards
[09:59:54] <Tigerman__> ok right consideration

[10:27:04] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2058.00 -> large size
[10:27:17] <@wrbtrader> 20 contracts

[10:43:28] <@wrbtrader> that wasn't a trade signal
[10:43:51] <@wrbtrader> I messed up that entry
[10:44:25] <@wrbtrader> Now I can use one of those snapbacks upwards to reset a possible trade signal
[10:45:52] <@wrbtrader> its trying
[10:49:20] <@wrbtrader> geeesh...it just flipped ove out of nowhere
[10:50:44] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2052.00 -> large size

[10:51:37] <Tigerman__> exit 1/2 51.50 +2 tk
[10:51:40] <@wrbtrader> I didn't realize it was that close to my entry :(
[10:52:06] <@wrbtrader> deceptive chart on that spike down
[10:53:11] <Tigerman__> yep sometimes chart fake us
[10:54:11] <Tigerman__> exit 53 -4tk on rem
[10:54:37] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2053.75 --> - 1.75
[10:55:23] <@wrbtrader> had the entry been more than 2 points away...I would still be holding the Short
[10:56:19] <Tigerman__> sh es 53.75 re-enter
[10:57:53] <Tigerman__> exit all 54.25 -2tk
[11:07:41] <Tigerman__> lg es 57
[11:08:48] <Tigerman__> exit 57 :(
[11:08:54] <@wrbtrader> This contraction or developing range is starting tighten my charts log scale :(
[11:09:08] <@wrbtrader> That big gap on Monday really messed things up
[11:09:59] <@wrbtrader> Simply, price action are actually "closer" to key levels than what the chart visually would show
[11:10:17] <Tigerman__> my solution is expand my chart on fly or.. use another one with less candles
[11:10:31] <@wrbtrader> Yeah...that's what I'm doing now
[11:10:42] <@wrbtrader> It cost me on the prior trade
[11:10:47] <Tigerman__> of course I need keep one with more candels
[11:11:29] <@wrbtrader> Hopefully we get another volatility spike soon to shake things up
[11:11:58] <Tigerman__> wrbtrader do you prefer charts larger on vertical dimension ?
[11:12:28] <Tigerman__> expeciall when you hve more charts beside each other
[11:13:41] <Tigerman__> time ago I used charts developed more horizontal I can see far in time but too much compressed in price levels
[11:14:34] <Tigerman__> right now I use more vertical develop charts better for levels
[11:15:06] <@wrbtrader> My charts only get visually strange on big gap days like Monday or on holiday trading sessions when there's only futures open when the stock market is closed...
[11:15:47] <@wrbtrader> The data for my charts will show it as "empty" (gap) and then the following full day of trading looks strange
[11:15:58] <@wrbtrader> in comparison to the holdiay trading session
[11:16:16] <@wrbtrader> I use to complain about that a lot in here a long time ago...
[11:16:38] <@wrbtrader> I'm now use to it and I trade light after a holiday trading session
[11:17:12] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2058.75 -> large size
[11:17:32] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[11:17:35] <Tigerman__> as you tell here our chart has impact on our trade
[11:18:33] <@wrbtrader> I waited patiently for a volatilty spike like that
[11:18:38] <@wrbtrader> not paying so far
[11:18:46] <@wrbtrader> intuition trade
[11:19:27] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2058.75 --> 0
[11:19:58] <@wrbtrader> will try again if it can push higher into the range of a prior trade signal
[11:20:11] <@wrbtrader> preferrably as a volatility spike
[11:20:45] <Tigerman__> lg es 58.75
[11:21:52] <Tigerman__> exit all 58.75 :(
[11:22:35] <Tigerman__> lg es 58.5
[11:24:49] <Tigerman__> exit 58.5
[11:25:59] <@wrbtrader> choppy now
[11:27:20] <Tigerman__> lg es 58.25
[11:27:26] <Tigerman__> tiring ...
[11:28:51] <Tigerman__> exit 58 -1t
[11:29:46] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2056.75 -> large size
[11:29:59] <Tigerman__> sh es 56
[11:30:19] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[11:30:32] <@wrbtrader> beware of the snapback...its in that price area for one
[11:30:39] <Tigerman__> exit 2/3 54.75 +5t
[11:30:49] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[11:32:40] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2053.25 --> + 3.5
[11:35:40] <Tigerman__> exit all rem @ 52.50 +14 tks
[11:59:55] <@wrbtrader> High probability for the trend to be down for the day
[12:00:35] <@wrbtrader> especially with the Greece situation unless something surprisingly (miracle) positive happens in the debt talks today
[12:01:39] <Tigerman__> take care all see next time
[12:03:23] <@wrbtrader> Amazing how early in the Month the pending Greece situation killed the price action via tons of contractions and lack of direction...
[12:03:57] <@wrbtrader> Then when the debt crisis neared the deadlines...
[12:04:33] <@wrbtrader> Big gaps and volatile movements, strong directional price action that wiped out the entire gains for the year of 2015 in the indexes
[12:04:58] <@wrbtrader> More amazing...it ain't over yet with Greece.
[12:05:08] <@wrbtrader> We still got today's deadline
[12:05:30] <mtntrader__> I wish it would get over soon. I am getting sick of this.
[12:06:29] <@wrbtrader> If Greece falls...others will soon follow :(
[12:07:24] <@wrbtrader> Growing number of analyst predicting such will happen that will take it into a crisis worst than 2008 - 2009
[12:07:59] <@wrbtrader> Millionaires were made during that crisis while millions lost everything
[12:11:51] <@wrbtrader> FYI - July 5th Sunday is the referendum vote
[12:12:39] <mtntrader__> It is a no-win situation for the Greek people.
[12:12:59] <@wrbtrader> Yep
[12:13:10] <@wrbtrader> They're just delaying the inevitable
[12:22:59] <@wrbtrader> FYI - Greece is set (if it can) to Pay the IMF today 1.6 billion euros toay at 6pm est
[12:23:17] <@wrbtrader> Glad its not due during regular market hours today...
[12:23:28] <@wrbtrader> That would produce a crazy market today
[12:23:41] <Corner> They already declared that they won't pay
[12:24:06] <mtntrader__> I read on Twitter that they have already informed the IMF that the payment won't be made. That was premarket today.
[12:24:37] <@wrbtrader> Yes but it becomes official at 6pm est (payment due time)
[12:27:08] <@wrbtrader> lowering my position size down to 10 contracts
[12:27:39] <@wrbtrader> I've been trading 20 - 25 contracts all day so far
[12:28:34] <@wrbtrader> be careful of a snapback here in this price area
[12:28:44] <TradeSnake______> Also as an FYI - World's markets brace for Wednesday's leap second http://www.futuresmag.com/nvY#.VZK_vkm6bR8.twitter
[12:29:23] <@wrbtrader> Wow...thanks for that info
[12:30:24] <@wrbtrader> Emini ES futures is now nearing the lows of yesterday's big sell off
[12:31:02] <@wrbtrader> That's why I'm afraid of a snap back on its first attempt to reach those lows
[12:41:13] <mtntrader__> Long ES 2049.00
[12:42:42] <mtntrader__> I am guessing that we may have put in the low of the day.
[12:49:07] <mtntrader__> Covered all 2048.50, - .50
[12:50:38] <mtntrader__> Long ES 2049.00, re-entry
[13:01:53] <mtntrader__> Covered half at 2051.25, +2.25
[13:35:07] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2056.25 -> large size
[13:35:13] <@wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[13:36:41] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2056.25 --> 0
[13:36:58] <@wrbtrader> sideline...will just watch...trade error
[13:53:31] <@wrbtrader> costly trade error :(
[13:54:13] <mtntrader__> Covered second half 2060.00, +11.00
[13:54:21] <@wrbtrader> nice
[13:54:50] <mtntrader__> thx
[13:55:08] <@wrbtrader> Emini ES futures has retraced more than 1/2 of that initial downtrend
[13:55:46] <@wrbtrader> in reference to today's intial downmovement...not yesterday's
[14:09:54] <mtntrader__> The bulls apparently think they're back in charge.
[14:11:06] <@wrbtrader> Emini TF futures has made new regular session highs...
[14:11:08] <@wrbtrader> Impressive
[14:13:08] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2065.25 -> large size
[14:15:46] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2065.25 --> 0
[14:15:52] <Corner> I get mad with this Greece stuff. Now they want to pay, but not later. Euro group will meet again tomorrow
[14:16:16] <Corner> but later
[14:16:20] <@wrbtrader> They can't pay :)
[14:16:36] <Corner> The want to negoatiate again...
[14:16:51] <@wrbtrader> The most wealth just needs a little more time to get their money safe and secure :)
[14:17:19] <Corner> I hope there will be an end soon.
[14:17:35] <Corner> All these news spike make me mad.
[14:18:32] <Corner> Next news: Greece is willing not to do the referendum...
[14:19:01] <Corner> Maybe they can't get it organized...
[14:19:04] <@wrbtrader> Yeah...this latest run up is a news issue AGAIN
[14:20:18] <@wrbtrader> How much is that 1.6 billion dollars to the IMF...what percentage of the debt of all the EU member countries ?
[14:20:34] <@wrbtrader> If its small amount...
[14:20:43] <@wrbtrader> I say write it off and let Greece fall
[14:21:10] <Corner> They fear civil war.
[14:21:26] <@wrbtrader> Wealthy against the Poor ?
[14:22:15] <Corner> The Greece people can't get money from their own accounts.
[14:22:27] <Corner> That would make me angry as well.
[14:22:54] <Corner> Banks closed. Stock market closed.
[14:22:56] <@wrbtrader> Yeah...the banks are closed and many of them have removed the hard cash from the banks
[14:23:34] <@wrbtrader> I have a friend stranded in Greece...
[14:23:48] <@wrbtrader> He was in the process of moving back to the United States with his family...
[14:23:58] <@wrbtrader> His 26K is frozen
[14:24:06] <@wrbtrader> He can't get access to any money
[14:24:10] <@wrbtrader> His money
[14:24:38] <@wrbtrader> crazy
[14:24:54] <Corner> I don't know if they stay calm.
[14:25:18] <mtntrader__> I've heard that if the referendum fails, the Greek banks are toast.
[14:25:52] <Corner> There is a lot of propeganda going on. Evil Nazi Merkel and so on...
[14:26:26] <@wrbtrader> I think so too and there will be chaos, riots and elected officials will be on lockdown with armed guards
[14:26:35] <mtntrader__> As far as I can see, Corner, the Germans are clearly the good guys here.
[14:27:32] <Corner> But this doesn't help if they send suicide bombers later...
[14:28:07] <Corner> They really believe that the EU is evil
[14:29:57] <@wrbtrader> That's problematic considering there are some well armed extremist in Greece
[14:31:09] <@wrbtrader> Scary unemployment rate too...
[14:31:23] <@wrbtrader> Lots of folks with lots of free time to do crazy stuff
[14:32:31] <Corner> So I guess the name of the game is: pay for peace
[14:32:55] <Corner> ...and try to make things a little better over time...
[14:35:00] <Corner> http://www.bild.de/politik/ausland/grie ... .bild.html
[14:35:28] <Corner> I know its German. But the chart show the private money left on accounts.
[14:36:21] <@wrbtrader> scary...starting to look like a free fall
[14:39:36] <mtntrader__> Yes, that is pretty scary.....
[14:43:24] <mtntrader__> Short ES 2059.50

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Also, to prevent the usual mix-up about our different chat rooms, most of our fee-base clients do not use chat rooms just like most retail traders do not use chat rooms. Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
