##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab chat room is is primarily designed for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Therefore, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Also, ##TheStrategyLab chat room is not designed to be educational. Simply, members using the chat room are not there to teach you how to trade and you will not see me discussing the reasons (strategies) behind my trades within ##TheStrategyLab chat room because those reasons (strategies) are only discussed with fee-base clients in a different chat room. Yet, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational or more active in discussing whatever it is that you're trading, we highly recommend that you ask trading related questions about your own trading instead of lurking (not saying anything) because your primary purpose is to improve your trading if you're a struggling trader. Therefore, don't join ##TheStrategyLab and then be silent. To be silent while using ##TheStrategyLab chat room, you'll be wasting a collaboration opportunity for improving your trading and doing such will make ##TheStrategyLab chat room useless to you.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

IE; Current bar has say 9 ticks wide and one of the 3 behind it has the same 9 ticks wide? Or Does it have to be say 10 ticks to qualify? Thanks for your reply.
[11:27:34] <Corner> A WRB must have a body that is longer than the previous 3 bodies.
[11:28:10] <efloortrader7> Thanks Corner, just wanted to make sure it could not be the same! Got it!

[15:11:50] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2092.75 --> + 1.5
[15:12:02] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[15:12:22] <@wrbtrader> I was hoping for a bigger WRB pt1 around +2.75
[15:14:02] <@wrbtrader> Emini ES futures retested the R area of the Up WRB Hidden GAP of 1438pm - 1440pm est 2min chart
[15:14:25] <@wrbtrader> I was hoping for the S area of that WRB Hidden GAP interval to be retested
[15:15:55] <@wrbtrader> The goal today for my losers was to keep them -2.00 and below
[15:16:20] <@wrbtrader> The other goal was to catch a runner +6 or more...didn't do it
[15:16:40] <@wrbtrader> 3 trade errors today that resulted as 1 winner and 2 losers
[15:17:15] <Tigerman__> today I was too much upset with my platform mistake :(
[15:17:19] <@wrbtrader> One of the trade error was a big one...the Short around 1436pm est @ 2089.75
[15:17:51] <@wrbtrader> I completely messed that one up an by the time I realized what I did wrong (about 3 minutes later)...
[15:17:53] <Tigerman__> simple that stop order entered by mistake was hang there instead to delete it :(
[15:17:59] <@wrbtrader> Out at -1.5
[15:18:42] <Tigerman__> after that order entered by mistake my anger grow at moon levels
[15:18:55] <@wrbtrader> I should have been Long at 2089.25 on one of my favorite trade singals via the 2min chart
[15:19:24] <Tigerman__> simply mental side tend to ruin my good trading before
[15:19:36] <@wrbtrader> I looked right at it and didn't notice it until after the fact (3 minutes later)
[15:19:39] <Tigerman__> simply I have to take of that
[15:20:23] <@wrbtrader> That trade mistake had done correctly...that would have been Long and given me that runner of +6 I was looking for
[15:21:07] <@wrbtrader> Most likely I would have called it quits after that
[15:21:10] <ForexTrader_____> Yeah, I saw when you posted that trade, I was looking at the 5 min and 2 minutes chart. I thought you were going long there
[15:21:46] <ForexTrader_____> really nice set up, price fell back in that area and shoot from there
[15:24:50] <@wrbtrader> Yeah, I think I had a strong bias developing to the Short side and then my mind lost focus when the Long opportunity first appeared...
[15:25:34] <@wrbtrader> By the time I realized what I had done...it was too late to minimize the loss on the Short
[15:26:16] <@wrbtrader> The
[15:26:29] <Tigerman__> take care
[15:26:34] <@wrbtrader> main reason why I'm talking about that particular trade mistake...
[15:26:36] <ForexTrader_____> sorry , the set up i am talking about happened at 2094 -- 2095
[15:26:41] <ForexTrader_____> http://ft.trillian.im/8c41dab4d4e5e764c ... p02Gba.jpg
[15:27:12] <@wrbtrader> It happen on Monday and started the smack down I got from the market...resulting in a losing trading day
[15:28:17] <@wrbtrader> Simply, I didn't learn my lesson and repeated it again today...something I'm good at not repeating in such a small few day duration
[15:29:15] <ForexTrader_____> it means you are still human, lol
[15:29:58] <@wrbtrader> ForexTrader...that area on your chart is where I started getting the clues to get out of that Short and minimize my Loss
[15:30:13] <@wrbtrader> I obviously didn't listen to those clues until it was too late
[15:32:14] <Tigerman__> hi forextrader before I leave I see your chart...
[15:32:45] <Tigerman__> very nice to post here what you look
[15:33:30] <Tigerman__> are you connected direct with CQG ??
[15:33:40] <ForexTrader_____> As soon as i saw the market form that huge green bar at 13:02PM I just forget about shorts.
[15:34:07] <Tigerman__> seems your chart is a bit different vs my feed
[15:34:32] <Tigerman__> I mean seems always that nasty way Multichart plot data
[15:34:34] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2095.00 -> small size
[15:34:41] <@wrbtrader> 5 contracts
[15:34:44] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[15:36:09] <@wrbtrader> I always wonder if there's something odd with Multicharts...
[15:36:30] <Tigerman__> ah did you noted the same ?
[15:36:36] <@wrbtrader> Others have said similar although using the same data feed source
[15:36:39] <TradeSnake______> Short YM @ 17872
[15:36:48] <ForexTrader_____> waiting for this if it happens
[15:36:51] <ForexTrader_____> http://ft.trillian.im/8c41dab4d4e5e764c ... xoRYzI.jpg
[15:36:53] <@wrbtrader> Charts a little different
[15:37:02] <Tigerman__> yeah I spend long time talk with Multicharts folk ...
[15:37:30] <@wrbtrader> No wonder us retail traders are all over the place...we're using different charts :)
[15:38:09] <Tigerman__> wrbtrader.... the issue is how Multichart read the feed
[15:38:29] <Tigerman__> it is buggy I DISCOVERED the MISTAKE
[15:38:42] <Tigerman__> I own a full licence
[15:39:09] <Tigerman__> after dibating with them ...I realize they are poor folks
[15:39:33] <ForexTrader_____> can you elaborate
[15:39:53] <Tigerman__> forex simply Multichart is not GOOD
[15:43:36] <Tigerman__> I mean the program has many things as options but fail in plot cndles in good way expecially with some feed
[15:43:41] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[15:44:14] <ForexTrader_____> what is a fair platform in your opinion? I was taking a look at market delta platform with the footprint chart but it doesn't convince me yet.
[15:44:28] <Tigerman__> simply using long term chart is not an issue but with fast frames is far from perfect
[15:45:15] <TradeSnake______> Covered YM @ 17853 --> +19
[15:45:24] <Tigerman__> a good platform is Bloomber but expensive
[15:45:52] <Tigerman__> the issue is also feed + platform
[15:46:23] <Tigerman__> E-signals is a good option
[15:46:33] <Tigerman__> cheaper then Bloomberg
[15:46:54] <Tigerman__> of course you have to pay platform + feed
[15:47:28] <Tigerman__> anyway not became too crazy about it
[15:48:27] <Tigerman__> I prefer to have good detailed chart and when one has too many plot wrong vs others I became nervous :)
[15:48:53] <Tigerman__> trading is already hard his own
[15:49:10] <ForexTrader_____> so you use E-signal
[15:49:29] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2091.50 --> + 3.5

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Also, to prevent the usual mix-up about our different chat rooms, most of our fee-base clients do not use chat rooms just like most retail traders do not use chat rooms. Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
