##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab chat room is is primarily designed for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Therefore, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Also, ##TheStrategyLab chat room is not designed to be educational. Simply, members using the chat room are not there to teach you how to trade and you will not see me discussing the reasons (strategies) behind my trades within ##TheStrategyLab chat room because those reasons (strategies) are only discussed with fee-base clients in a different chat room. Yet, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational or more active in discussing whatever it is that you're trading, we highly recommend that you ask trading related questions about your own trading instead of lurking (not saying anything) because your primary purpose is to improve your trading if you're a struggling trader. Therefore, don't join ##TheStrategyLab and then be silent. To be silent while using ##TheStrategyLab chat room, you'll be wasting a collaboration opportunity for improving your trading and doing such will make ##TheStrategyLab chat room useless to you.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[09:37:37] <@wrbtrader> I'm regretting not taking the trade in Emini TF futures :(
[09:39:24] <mtntrader_> Yes, the TF went 50+ ticks during that time
[09:40:41] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini TF @ 1222.90 -> medium size

[09:45:30] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt3 reached
[09:47:12] <@wrbtrader> Emini ES futures now below the regular session GAP of last week Friday
[09:57:59] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2086.25 -> large size
[09:58:18] <@wrbtrader> a little choopy
[09:58:27] <@wrbtrader> now sure if this can hold
[10:00:34] <@wrbtrader> trailing @ profit
[10:01:52] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[10:03:35] <@wrbtrader> Covered 2/3 Emini ES Short @ 2083.75 --> + 2.5
[10:03:49] <@wrbtrader> :(
[10:04:48] <@wrbtrader> I thought I had caught a slow runner downwards and that volatility will show up to quickly take it down a few points
[10:04:59] <@wrbtrader> volatility didn't show up
[10:05:34] <@wrbtrader> Covered Remainder Emini ES Short @ 2083.75 --> + 2.5
[10:06:07] <@wrbtrader> more contraction and a little more chop
[10:06:20] <@wrbtrader> will now lower my position size
[10:20:10] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini TF @ 1215.20 -> small size
[10:20:26] <@wrbtrader> 2 contracts
[10:21:14] <@wrbtrader> tough trade because its in a range now and the volatility is low
[10:21:31] <@wrbtrader> not the type of price action I want to trade but I am up big for the day...
[10:21:45] <@wrbtrader> Thus, I'm taking a trade that's a more riskier
[10:22:59] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini TF Short @ 1215.40 --> - 0.2
[10:23:10] <@wrbtrader> bouncing around...choppy
[10:50:46] <TradeSnake______> YM has now filled regular session GAP. Other Eminis looking like they may try to as well...
[10:52:24] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2093.50 -> small size
[10:52:31] <@wrbtrader> 5 contracts
[10:57:27] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2092.50 --> - 1
[11:09:37] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2085.00 -> small size
[11:10:04] <@wrbtrader> I took a small break after the prior losing trade...missed a nice little movement back upwards :(
[11:10:18] <@wrbtrader> 5 contracts
[11:11:19] <@wrbtrader> correction
[11:11:32] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2095.00 -> small size
[11:16:12] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2093.50 --> - 1.5
[11:22:48] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2093.75 -> large size
[11:22:58] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[11:23:06] <@wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[11:23:31] <@wrbtrader> its trying hard to get going again
[11:24:22] <@wrbtrader> had there been a little move volatility...I would have gone back to the initial position size of 20 contracts that I started the trading day in Emini ES futures
[11:25:59] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2094.50 --> + 0.75
[11:26:35] <@wrbtrader> shallow WRB pt1 was reached but I stayed in the trade a little longer to see if more volatility would show up...it didn't
[11:36:34] <TradeSnake______> Long GC @ 1191.8
[11:46:25] <TradeSnake______> Covered GC @ 1194.0 --> +2.2
[14:05:35] <TradeSnake______> Long YM @ 18024
[14:07:14] <TradeSnake______> Covered YM @ 18037 --> +13
[14:37:39] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1233.50 -> small size
[14:38:03] <@wrbtrader> 2+1 contracts
[14:42:32] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1233.70 --> + 0.2
[14:43:15] <@wrbtrader> It just couldn't get above that 1234 area and stay above
[14:44:08] <@wrbtrader> Hopefully Emini TF futures price action trading does not retrace back below its most recent reaction low
[14:44:35] <@wrbtrader> It just did...lets see now if it can "snapback" upwards
[14:44:47] <@wrbtrader> If it can...I'll do an intuition re-entry
[14:48:14] <@wrbtrader> It looked like a snapback at first but it sure didn't feel like one with that "sudden" unexpected retrace
[14:48:29] <@wrbtrader> back upwards
[14:49:25] <@wrbtrader> If you draw trendlines across the tops of reaction highs since 1300pm est...
[14:49:47] <@wrbtrader> The current price actin trading of Emini ES futures is between two reaction highs
[14:50:20] <@wrbtrader> I will not touch it inside (between) that range
[14:57:26] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2096.50 -> small size
[14:57:43] <@wrbtrader> 4+1 contracts
[14:58:50] <@wrbtrader> that little experiment didn't work out too well :(
[15:00:00] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2095.50 --> + 1
[15:00:46] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached via SPY retesting the S area of a prior unfilled Up WRB Hidden GAP interval in its price action trading
[15:02:07] <@wrbtrader> As a reminder, I've been using SPY more and more lately to help me trade the Emini ES futures when the VIX is low in comparison to the past when I use to tend to ignore Emini ES futures when the VIX was low
[15:03:24] <mtntrader_> How do you use it, wrbtrader?
[15:04:50] <@wrbtrader> Its easy...I pretend I'm trading SPY :)
[15:05:03] <@wrbtrader> I then take my trades in Emini ES instead
[15:05:39] <@wrbtrader> Its a visual thing...put Emini ES and SPY side by side...they "look" different but they are highly correlated
[15:06:23] <@wrbtrader> SPY WRB Hidden GAP intervals are clearer as in more obvious
[15:06:47] <@wrbtrader> SPY has better looking long shadow intervals
[15:08:16] <@wrbtrader> I can see contracting intervals easier in SPY than in Emini ES because ES seems like the there's "more" contraction via the intervals looking like they have more overlapping
[15:08:36] <@wrbtrader> Its something I learned from a few institutional traders
[15:08:54] <mtntrader_> Hmmm... I will need to bring up a SPY chart and observe
[15:12:04] <@wrbtrader> The other issue is the data vendor...
[15:12:39] <@wrbtrader> The data is clearner (more reliable) on SPY than Emini ES futures at most data sources that are not the top tier data
[15:17:10] <@wrbtrader> since the trade exit...just contracting volatility
[15:17:38] <@wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Chat room for day traders, swing traders, position traders using concepts from WRB Analysis such as contracting volatility, key market event (KME), reaction high/low, WRB, WRB Hidden GAP, WRB Zone, WRB pt levels to help improve understanding of the price action their trading and/or improve the performance of their trade signal strategies while price action trading. WRB Analysis free study guide @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum ... =119&t=718 or http://www.scribd.com/wrbtrader
[15:26:24] <@wrbtrader> Take care all and see all tomorrow

-------------------------

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
