##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab chat room is is primarily designed for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Therefore, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Also, ##TheStrategyLab chat room is not designed to be educational. Simply, members using the chat room are not there to teach you how to trade and you will not see me discussing the reasons (strategies) behind my trades within ##TheStrategyLab chat room because those reasons (strategies) are only discussed with fee-base clients in a different chat room. Yet, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational or more active in discussing whatever it is that you're trading, we highly recommend that you ask trading related questions about your own trading instead of lurking (not saying anything) because your primary purpose is to improve your trading if you're a struggling trader. Therefore, don't join ##TheStrategyLab and then be silent. To be silent while using ##TheStrategyLab chat room, you'll be wasting a collaboration opportunity for improving your trading and doing such will make ##TheStrategyLab chat room useless to you.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[10:02:37] <wrbtrader> I decided to hold the trade when the volatility increased to see if it can retest the V thrust bottom
[10:05:08] <wrbtrader> Without that volatility...I would have exited at a WRB pt1
[10:06:13] * ChanServ sets mode: +o wrbtrader

[12:58:53] <@wrbtrader> 2086.25 was a price I tried to get a filled...on the initial Short...no fill
[12:59:34] <@wrbtrader> suspicious price area to me know
[13:00:25] <@wrbtrader> Emini TF remainded inside its range...
[13:00:43] <@wrbtrader> Emini ES trying hard now to get back to its prior range
[13:02:46] <@wrbtrader> ES stopped at the R area
[13:06:01] <@wrbtrader> Emini ES now retested the S area of that prior low volatility tight trading range

[13:06:49] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[13:14:34] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2098.75 --> - 10.75
[13:14:47] <@wrbtrader> correction
[13:14:58] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2088.75 --> - 0.75
[13:15:15] <@wrbtrader> Had a great entry on that Short...just didn't produce anything
[13:16:45] <@wrbtrader> That constant retest of the S area by Emini ES while Emini TF keeps moving higher and closer to its reaction high spooked me out of the Short
[13:17:37] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2088.00 -> large size
[13:17:44] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[13:22:21] <@wrbtrader> what's up with all this chop :(
[13:28:40] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2086.50 --> + 1.5
[13:29:26] <@wrbtrader> retested the R area of the 1254pm est Down WRB Hidden GAP
[13:29:47] <@wrbtrader> that was where a prior snapback went through to take me out for a loss
[13:30:02] <@wrbtrader> I didn't take any chances this second time around
[13:34:54] <@wrbtrader> snapback to where the recent down movement begin
[13:34:56] <@wrbtrader> geeeesh
[14:30:50] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2081.25 -> large size
[14:33:53] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2081.25 --> 0
[14:35:50] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2081.75 -> large size
[14:36:00] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[14:36:17] <@wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Your use of this chat room implies you're using concepts from WRB Analysis for price action trading to help trade either Stocks, Emini Futures (EMD, TF, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX 6E Futures, Eurex/Euronext Futures (DAX, ESTX50, FTSE100, CAC40, BUND), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), Oil Futures (Brent, CL, HO, QM), Gold GC Futures, Natural Gas NG Futures, Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, XLE, QQQ, SPY), Hang Seng HSI Futures, NIFTY Futures, Forex Currencies (GbpUsd, EurUsd, EurYen, UsdCad) and other key market price actions.
[14:38:36] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2082.50 --> - 0.75
[14:40:21] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2082.75 -> large size
[14:40:37] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[14:43:58] <@wrbtrader> stalled again :(
[14:45:14] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2082.50 --> + 0.25
[14:46:30] <@wrbtrader> trail stop pick pocketed
[14:48:12] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2080.75 -> large size
[14:48:25] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[14:48:43] <@wrbtrader> if it makes a new intraday low...I can't do the re-entries again...
[14:48:57] <@wrbtrader> Will need for it to retrace back upwards to reset
[14:49:36] <Corner> wrb - you mean the shorts need to refuel?
[14:51:02] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2079.25 --> + 1.5
[14:51:10] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[14:51:26] <@wrbtrader> Corner...sort'uv yes
[14:51:48] <@wrbtrader> I was doing re-entries via using a prior trade signal as a WRB Zone
[14:51:56] <@wrbtrader> price action now below it
[14:52:38] <@wrbtrader> It needs to retrace back upwards into the range of that prior trade signal OR just go much lower into the range of a WRB Zone further below
[14:53:09] <Corner> but you don't need a zone for a re-entry, do you?
[14:53:17] <@wrbtrader> Yes
[14:53:24] <@wrbtrader> I always need a WRB Zone
[14:53:36] <@wrbtrader> without it...the trade becomes too risky
[14:54:25] <Corner> Learned something today :-) Thought re-entry has no requirements, now know better
[14:55:12] <@wrbtrader> re-entrie signals can be anything...intuition or another valid trade signal
[14:55:31] <@wrbtrader> no matter what it is...it must share a tick with a WRB Zone
[14:56:47] <@wrbtrader> Emini ES now sharing a tick with a WRB Zone again
[14:57:19] <Corner> We are in an interesting position in the daily chart, I see a lot of institutional selling...
[14:57:29] <Corner> Usually they are smart
[14:57:46] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2077.75 -> large size
[14:58:45] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[14:58:54] <@wrbtrader> hopefully a snapback doesn't show up
[15:01:25] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2075.00 --> + 2.75
[15:01:47] <@wrbtrader> covered early
[15:01:52] <@wrbtrader> goal was a WRB pt2
[15:02:11] <@wrbtrader> I got lost in the charts a little...decided to just dump it
[15:02:48] <Corner> I guess we can count it as after FOMC trending day now
[15:03:11] <@wrbtrader> Usually when I can smell blood in the streets like this with it occurring within the FOMC market tendency...
[15:03:21] <@wrbtrader> I don't do this many re-entries
[15:03:41] <@wrbtrader> I just do 1 - 2 trades and just ride it for a big runner
[15:03:57] <@wrbtrader> not today :(
[15:04:18] <@wrbtrader> broker happy
[15:04:48] <Corner> Do you have a leased seat?
[15:05:13] <@wrbtrader> no
[15:05:27] <Corner> Shouldn't you`?
[15:05:30] <@wrbtrader> Everytime I think about it...my number of trades and volume drop
[15:05:53] <@wrbtrader> Markets just not active enough for such
[15:06:10] <@wrbtrader> especially with the summer almost here
[15:06:37] <@wrbtrader> If I was doing more volume in Emini TF...then it would be OK
[15:06:39] <Corner> -> many re-entries :-)
[15:06:52] <@wrbtrader> The volatility just isn't there
[15:07:13] <@wrbtrader> Yet, if we have more days like today...its something to consider strongly
[15:07:31] <@wrbtrader> We get 2 - 3 days like this per month
[15:07:50] <@wrbtrader> I would need to see 5 - 7 days per month like this to get a seat
[15:08:50] <@wrbtrader> I know someone that sold his seat when his average size dropped below 30 contracts
[15:09:34] <@wrbtrader> He had been doing 50 contracts on average
[15:09:46] <@wrbtrader> That's too much risk for me
[15:10:08] <@wrbtrader> and a psychological bump in the rode
[15:10:42] <@wrbtrader> Emini ES futures still road kill
[15:11:07] <@wrbtrader> Buzzards no longer circling...they're now eating on the carcass
[15:12:54] <@wrbtrader> Emini ES inside a WRB Zone
[15:13:27] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 2071.00 -> large size
[15:13:50] <@wrbtrader> lower size down to 10 contracts
[15:14:11] <@wrbtrader> long shadow intervals showing up
[15:14:35] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 2072.50 --> - 1.5
[15:15:29] <@wrbtrader> R area of most recent Down WRB Hidden GAP interval being retested
[15:17:06] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2074.50 -> large size
[15:17:13] <@wrbtrader> high risk trade
[15:17:25] <@wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Chat room for day traders, swing traders, position traders using concepts from WRB Analysis such as contracting volatility, key market event (KME), reaction high/low, WRB, WRB Hidden GAP, WRB Zone, WRB pt levels to help improve understanding of the price action their trading and/or improve the performance of their trade signal strategies while price action trading. WRB Analysis free study guide @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum ... =119&t=718 or http://www.scribd.com/wrbtrader
[15:19:21] <@wrbtrader> I've been watching these snapbacks kill a few of my Short positions today...this time I decided to jump on the wagon of one of them after it took me out for a loss
[15:20:01] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2075.75 --> + 1.25
[15:24:57] <@wrbtrader> Its trading days like today that make the cheeze...other days is just too much give and take
[15:25:37] <@wrbtrader> Before the 2008 finacial fiasco...
[15:25:47] <@wrbtrader> We use to have 5 - 7 days per month like this
[15:30:23] <@wrbtrader> chop showing up again
[15:30:51] <@wrbtrader> Its doing such inside the range of the most recent Up WRB Hidden GAP interval
[15:31:28] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2074.00 -> large size
[15:31:36] <@wrbtrader> 15 contracts
[15:31:43] <@wrbtrader> increased size by 5
[15:32:06] <@wrbtrader> price action bounced off the S area of that mentioned Up WRB Hidden GAP interval
[15:33:05] <@wrbtrader> Exited 2/3 Emini ES Long @ 2076.25 --> + 2.25
[15:33:29] <@wrbtrader> early exit...not a WRB pt1
[15:33:51] <@wrbtrader> hopefully the remaining 5 contracts can catch a WRB pt1
[15:37:47] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[15:39:25] <@wrbtrader> Exited Remainder Emini ES Long @ 2078.50 --> + 4.5
[15:49:37] <@wrbtrader> Corner...the other issue about exchange seats is if you're trading different markets.
[15:50:16] <@wrbtrader> For example...Emini TF and Emini ES require two different membership seats
[15:50:30] <@wrbtrader> That would be about 1 million bucks total :)
[15:51:04] <@wrbtrader> I'm not sure what type of volume someone would need to justify such a purchase...
[15:51:55] <@wrbtrader> I'm going to make a good guess...about 50 contracts per trade and about 15 trades per day
[15:52:08] <@wrbtrader> That would be tough to do in Emini TF futures
[15:52:33] <@wrbtrader> Emini ES would be ok
[15:53:15] <@wrbtrader> Application fees use to be dirt cheap with no guarantee you'll get one
[15:53:42] <@wrbtrader> Now the application fees are ridicously high
[15:54:12] <@wrbtrader> Will also need to switch brokers
[15:54:51] <@wrbtrader> Along with relocating
[15:55:20] <@wrbtrader> I wouldn't do it unless I was located in downtown Chicago with a dedicated ISP line
[15:57:18] <@wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Your use of this chat room implies you're using concepts from WRB Analysis for price action trading to help trade either Stocks, Emini Futures (EMD, TF, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX 6E Futures, Eurex/Euronext Futures (DAX, ESTX50, FTSE100, CAC40, BUND), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), Oil Futures (Brent, CL, HO, QM), Gold GC Futures, Natural Gas NG Futures, Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, XLE, QQQ, SPY), Hang Seng HSI Futures, NIFTY Futures, Forex Currencies (GbpUsd, EurUsd, EurYen, UsdCad) and other key market price actions.
[15:57:41] <@wrbtrader> Would be nice to see some last minute of volatility going into the regular session close
[15:58:34] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1216.50 -> small size
[15:58:42] <@wrbtrader> 2 contracts
[16:00:26] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1217.60 --> + 1.1
[16:00:41] <@wrbtrader> :(
[16:01:32] <@wrbtrader> I guessed wrong...it was Emini ES futures and not Emini TF futures with the volatility spike into the regular session close
[16:02:02] <@wrbtrader> not often I see that
[16:03:43] <@wrbtrader> Take care all and a great day to end the month of April

Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Also, to prevent the usual mix-up about our different chat rooms, most of our fee-base clients do not use chat rooms just like most retail traders do not use chat rooms. Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
