##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab chat room is is primarily designed for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Therefore, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Also, ##TheStrategyLab chat room is not designed to be educational. Simply, members using the chat room are not there to teach you how to trade and you will not see me discussing the reasons (strategies) behind my trades within ##TheStrategyLab chat room because those reasons (strategies) are only discussed with fee-base clients in a different chat room. Yet, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational or more active in discussing whatever it is that you're trading, we highly recommend that you ask trading related questions about your own trading instead of lurking (not saying anything) because your primary purpose is to improve your trading if you're a struggling trader. Therefore, don't join ##TheStrategyLab and then be silent. To be silent while using ##TheStrategyLab chat room, you'll be wasting a collaboration opportunity for improving your trading and doing such will make ##TheStrategyLab chat room useless to you.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[10:07:38] <wrbtrader> Covered Remainder Emini ES Short @ 2086.25 --> + 2.75
[10:07:54] <wrbtrader> WRB pt2 reached
[10:08:44] <wrbtrader> Tigerman...you using Tradestation or IB because those the only two platforms that I know that "crash" if you refuse to upgrade or completely stop working.
[10:08:55] <wrbtrader> If its TradeStation...let me know.
[10:09:49] <Tigerman__> IB right now
[10:09:56] <wrbtrader> Also, make sure you don't have too many charts open (if its TradeStatio)
[10:09:59] <wrbtrader> Ahhh...ok
[10:10:09] <Tigerman__> I have both of them load now
[10:10:21] <wrbtrader> I don't know how to disable the IB codes for upgrade
[10:10:34] <wrbtrader> nasty buggers
[10:10:45] <wrbtrader> I hate upgrades myself
[10:10:55] <wrbtrader> I have a rule...if it ain't broke...don't fix it
[10:10:55] <Tigerman__> I have 100 chart open at same time

[10:11:57] <Tigerman__> just to add things I never use
[10:12:08] <Tigerman__> and go eavy on cpu
[10:12:48] <Tigerman__> my Cpu is ok also with all of those charts
[10:13:07] <Tigerman__> then can be also a Java issue
[10:13:27] <Tigerman__> mine is not the most recent one
[10:13:46] <Tigerman__> in contrast usually most recent have security issue
[10:14:05] <Tigerman__> not always but I prefer wait
[10:14:11] <wrbtrader> You should look around and try to find someone that knows how to disable the software upgrade while at the same time allowing you to keep using the past version instead of upgrading to the current new version...
[10:14:43] <wrbtrader> I have when software try to prevent us from continuing using the old version
[10:15:05] <Tigerman__> the issue is they not promp me to ugrade ...simply older version became not stable after new one are released
[10:15:28] <wrbtrader> I understand if its a "security issue" but for some extra bells and whistle or for a new feature I don't use...
[10:15:34] <Tigerman__> anyway upgrade is not a bad thing itself
[10:15:34] <wrbtrader> I'm not interested in any new version
[10:16:03] <wrbtrader> There's that volatility pressure in the Eminis again
[10:16:09] <Tigerman__> menwhile ES push down now
[10:16:31] <wrbtrader> YOu don't need any technical analysis to be able to feel (see) that type of pressure when it shows up
[10:17:32] <Tigerman__> yeah we see price push fast in real time or...
[10:18:00] <Tigerman__> I use a fast chart to see that pressure you never thing to use that wrbtrader?
[10:18:33] <Tigerman__> I mean when price goes fast with no choppy is very clear in 10sec charts x example
[10:18:59] <Tigerman__> also tick chart but time chart seems clearer to me
[10:19:31] <Tigerman__> the down spike is full retraced now
[10:20:43] <Tigerman__> wrbtrader did you read the silly new in business insider about they discovered a single trader cause the may 2010 crash ?
[10:20:54] <Tigerman__> lol
[10:21:22] <Tigerman__> it is in home page seems a joke
[10:22:16] <futurestrack> One guy working by himself in his basement? Seems impossible.
[10:22:40] <Tigerman__> yep in his parents home on sofa :)
[10:23:13] <Tigerman__> this give us strange opinion about media and true
[10:23:42] <Tigerman__> seems they wanna cover something else ...
[10:23:48] <futurestrack> Definitely we'll be seeing more of this in the news... So maybe it will become clearer as we go.
[10:24:10] <Tigerman__> strange occurs 5 y later !!!
[10:24:32] <Tigerman__> btw I remember that day was amazing !!!
[10:26:19] <wrbtrader> Tigerman...yeah...I read the story about that guy with his algos caused that market crash
[10:26:48] <wrbtrader> He had been doing it for a few years before that but the crash was his big day.
[10:29:00] <wrbtrader> I guess he got too greedy one day :)
[10:29:08] <Tigerman__> yeah but seems hard think he can move a lot of money when they come from ??
[10:29:48] <Tigerman__> also the also explained is a no sense
[10:29:48] <wrbtrader> He had already had made millions doing such prior to that day
[10:30:16] <wrbtrader> I think the article said he had 17 million just at one broker alone that he did most of his algo through
[10:30:47] <wrbtrader> That's a lot of money to do damage in the market if you're a computer algo genius like that guy
[10:31:49] <Tigerman__> yeah but the issue is ... if you wanna push price down you hace to sell x true
[10:32:00] <Tigerman__> hace = have
[10:32:30] <Tigerman__> x example right now we have 1000 pz in ES near 2087
[10:32:32] <wrbtrader> Whatever he did...his arrest sends a loud message to others doing the same
[10:32:40] <wrbtrader> That guy is not alone
[10:33:17] <wrbtrader> Others out there doing exactly what that guy doing but maybe they fly under the radar via not capturing millions in a single day
[10:33:58] <wrbtrader> I wouldn't be surprise if there's hundreds out there like this guy just happy making 10k per day just doing that to prevent bringing attention to themselves
[10:34:31] <Tigerman__> my point is : the article say it put sell order then remove that
[10:34:53] <Tigerman__> why others have to panix x this ?
[10:35:26] <Tigerman__> right now there are millions in ES after his best bid
[10:35:32] <wrbtrader> Don't know but there's another article that explains why doing such with millions can cause a panic if you do it at the right time
[10:35:40] <Tigerman__> not x this reason I panic and sell :)
[10:37:07] <Tigerman__> that day simply was NOT demand in those hours
[10:37:33] <Tigerman__> so if you wanna sell you have to acept lower price
[10:38:29] <Tigerman__> to cause a crash now you need milions and milions
[10:38:49] <Tigerman__> not a single tradr can do that
[10:39:23] <Tigerman__> and if you have all that money you trader in a simple small home instead a big luxory villa ?
[10:39:47] <wrbtrader> I'm sure its a consensus that if you're going to try to manipulate the markets in liquid trading instruments...
[10:39:48] <Tigerman__> there was a similar news long ago
[10:40:03] <wrbtrader> You need millions and the right time to do such
[10:40:11] <Tigerman__> there was a false nes not true
[10:41:04] <Tigerman__> yea a lot of milions that single trader not had all the money
[10:41:45] <wrbtrader> Price action trading now in the Emini ES futures and Emini TF futures and Eurex DAX futures is contracting volatility
[10:42:03] <wrbtrader> Gold GC futures price action trading is trying hard to push lower
[10:42:39] <wrbtrader> Price action trading in Crude Oil CL future having problems after a recent volatility spike
[10:45:05] <wrbtrader> Emini ES futures volatility spike on a retracement back upwards
[10:46:41] <wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 2094.00 -> small size
[10:46:49] <wrbtrader> 5 contracts
[10:47:49] <wrbtrader> I'm not going to hang around too much in this trade
[10:48:39] <wrbtrader> now contracting in its volatility...it'll produce a small WRB pt1 level is it goes higher
[10:48:46] <wrbtrader> WRB pt2 reached
[10:49:46] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 2095.75 --> + 1.75
[10:51:49] <wrbtrader> Emini ES futures retesting reaction highs of 0925am est
[11:01:50] <wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1259.10 -> small size
[11:01:57] <wrbtrader> 1+1 contracts
[11:02:15] * ChanServ sets mode: +o wrbtrader

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
