##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab chat room is is primarily designed for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Therefore, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Also, ##TheStrategyLab chat room is not designed to be educational. Simply, members using the chat room are not there to teach you how to trade and you will not see me discussing the reasons (strategies) behind my trades within ##TheStrategyLab chat room because those reasons (strategies) are only discussed with fee-base clients in a different chat room. Yet, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational or more active in discussing whatever it is that you're trading, we highly recommend that you ask trading related questions about your own trading instead of lurking (not saying anything) because your primary purpose is to improve your trading if you're a struggling trader. Therefore, don't join ##TheStrategyLab and then be silent. To be silent while using ##TheStrategyLab chat room, you'll be wasting a collaboration opportunity for improving your trading and doing such will make ##TheStrategyLab chat room useless to you.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[10:35:31] <@wrbtrader> something weird about this slow creeping price movement in the Eminis that's taking price back down on very low volatility
[10:36:17] <@wrbtrader> Gold GC futures creeping lower now after its own volatility spike
[10:36:41] <@wrbtrader> Forex EurUsd and GbpUsd in a very tight trading range now
[10:37:10] <@wrbtrader> Oil CL futures also contracting
[10:37:26] <@wrbtrader> Many key markets doing such...
[10:37:52] <@wrbtrader> Hopefully this sets up another volatility spike with so many of them in this creeper low volatility price action
[10:43:11] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1256.30 -> small size
[10:43:17] <@wrbtrader> 2 contracts
[10:43:52] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1255.40 --> - 0.9
[10:55:35] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 1255.20 -> small size
[10:55:40] <@wrbtrader> 2 contracts
[10:55:43] <@wrbtrader> high risk trade
[10:56:20] <@wrbtrader> I'm a little uncomfortable with the low volatility creeper like price action
[10:59:41] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 1254.40 --> - 0.8
[11:53:55] <Tigerman__> price action glued here ... people ready to pack luggace x holidays
[12:04:03] <Tigerman__> sh es 2055.75
[12:05:35] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 1250.60 -> medium size
[12:05:41] <@wrbtrader> 4 contracts
[12:07:20] <@wrbtrader> :(
[12:07:28] <@wrbtrader> now I get the sticky data
[12:07:38] <@wrbtrader> first time I've had that problem in about 2 months
[12:07:52] <Tigerman__> exit all ES @ 2054 +7 tks
[12:12:22] <@wrbtrader> Emini TF fighting back to get to the S area of a Down WRB HG interval
[12:14:05] <@wrbtrader> now above the S area
[12:14:45] <@wrbtrader> @ 1251.50
[12:21:00] <@wrbtrader> :(
[12:21:21] <@wrbtrader> its turning into a creeper (slow moving volatility)
[12:21:59] <@wrbtrader> I was hoping for it to develop into a range bound price action...going up and down
[12:25:35] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 1252.90 --> - 2.3
[12:25:37] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES futures @ 2056.25 large size 25 contracts
[12:26:53] <@wrbtrader> strangly both Emini ES and TF futgures restested a key price area at the same time
[12:27:25] <@wrbtrader> Insync but in a strange way
[12:27:56] <@wrbtrader> I've been using that word "strange" a lot today since 1030am est
[12:30:25] <@wrbtrader> now the low volatility range price action showing up...a little too late :(
[12:30:46] <@wrbtrader> meant...its already low but its getting lower
[12:32:41] <Tigerman__> lg ES 2056.5
[12:34:33] <@wrbtrader> Exit Emini ES futures 15 contracts @ 2057.00 --- > +0.75 @ WRB pt1
[12:34:44] <Tigerman__> exit all ES @ 2057 +2 tks
[12:34:46] <@wrbtrader> still holding 10 contracts
[12:35:37] <Tigerman__> low volatility miss a previous exit not miss this one to exit in gain
[12:35:42] <@wrbtrader> still stuck inside the range of that Down WRB Hidden GAP interval
[12:45:12] <Tigerman__> nice hold wrbtrader .. I have not that luxury now just few contracts x me
[12:45:42] <Tigerman__> I mean I had scale out all my position before
[12:46:40] <@wrbtrader> Exit Emini ES remainders @ 2058.75 --- > +2.50 above WRB pt2
[12:46:55] <@wrbtrader> Tigerman...try to view it as a "ratio"
[12:47:31] <@wrbtrader> involving the issue of scaling out
[12:47:53] <@wrbtrader> Thus, I would scale out a 20 contract position similar to scaling out a 2 contract position
[12:48:29] <@wrbtrader> throw in some odd contracts like 25 contracts...
[12:48:53] <@wrbtrader> I would scale out a 5 contract position the same way I would do a 25 contract position
[12:49:05] <@wrbtrader> similarily...
[12:49:36] <@wrbtrader> I would scale out a 6 contract position the same way I would do a 3 contract, 2 contract position
[12:49:51] <@wrbtrader> I'm just talking about the issue of scaling out
[12:50:33] <@wrbtrader> Yet, if they occur different times of the trading day or in different trading instruments...
[12:50:48] <@wrbtrader> I would NOT scale out the same
[12:51:19] <@wrbtrader> Under nomral conditions...I tend to NOT scale out a trade position this time of the day
[12:51:35] <@wrbtrader> Yet, I had a big profitable trading day yesterday and a decent start today...
[12:52:07] <Tigerman__> yeah infact I had only 2 contracts ... so I prefered exit all soon
[12:52:22] <@wrbtrader> I took an extra risk to do something different in this particular time duration of the day
[12:52:56] <Tigerman__> with 3 contracts I can usually exit 2 first and then 1 for last
[12:53:29] <Tigerman__> now too low vola too scared my tiny profi evaporate
[12:53:51] <@wrbtrader> For example, you usually don't see me hold a Emini TF position that long like that in which it resulted in a -2.3 loser and you usually don't see my go large like that in in Emini ES futures...both trades in the same duration I call "problematic"
[12:54:14] <@wrbtrader> Simply, if I didn't have a big day yesterday...
[12:54:43] <@wrbtrader> I would have only taken a few tick loss on Emini TF and wouldn't have traded more than 10 contracts on Emini ES futures today
[12:54:43] <Tigerman__> [18:51] <@wrbtrader> Yet, I had a big profitable trading day yesterday and a decent start today... yeah that what miss in my side :)
[12:55:35] <Tigerman__> right you got a big cushion to play
[12:55:52] <@wrbtrader> That's something I've been working hard on the past 7 years since the 2008 financial fiasco in the markets worldwide
[12:57:00] <@wrbtrader> Trying to manage position size via my current profit/loss level and time of day for the trading instrument...
[12:57:08] <Tigerman__> in contrast I miss that big move yestrday and miss the big move open today ( out of desk when signal occurs )
[12:57:24] <@wrbtrader> The trading instrument really does trade different through out the day.
[12:58:10] <Tigerman__> yeah expecially the SPEED is different
[12:58:15] <@wrbtrader> Expanding, contracting, slow, fast, smaller spread, bigger spread, range, strong continuation...
[12:58:37] <@wrbtrader> It changes and often with a "TENDENCY"
[12:59:03] <Tigerman__> the safest and best oportunity seems the first hours
[12:59:06] <@wrbtrader> Its not something you can learn about your price action in a few days, weeks or months.
[12:59:27] <@wrbtrader> I've been trading TF and ES since their birth...
[12:59:44] <@wrbtrader> I've only started feeling comfortable with them around 2005
[12:59:50] <Tigerman__> [18:58] <@wrbtrader> Its not something you can learn about your price action in a few days, weeks or months. EXACTLY
[13:00:12] <Corner> wrb - when did you start trading at all?
[13:00:16] <@wrbtrader> Than I lost that feeling for TF when it moved from CME to the ICE exchange
[13:00:28] <@wrbtrader> My profit level dramatically changed when that happen
[13:01:14] <@wrbtrader> At first I thought it was me until others started having the same problems...some even went into a deep drawdown period.
[13:01:22] <Tigerman__> wrbtrader do you think also algo can ruined TF ?
[13:01:51] <@wrbtrader> No
[13:01:56] <Tigerman__> I mean HFT algo on ICE
[13:01:59] <@wrbtrader> It was strictly the exchange change
[13:02:11] <@wrbtrader> Algo were in TF on the CME when TF was known as ER2
[13:02:38] <@wrbtrader> Then when ICE purchased TF...many of the institutional players changed
[13:03:06] <@wrbtrader> In fact, I think ICE said there was a 85% change in its TF clients
[13:03:24] <@wrbtrader> That means 85% of the professional firms had changed
[13:03:57] <@wrbtrader> Essentially, TF became a different trading instrument although still called the Russell 2000 Emini
[13:04:10] <Tigerman__> ok so those new clien NOT replace same amount of money or traded different ?
[13:04:11] <@wrbtrader> Another issue after the exchange change...
[13:04:30] <@wrbtrader> The reconstitution rules for TF change too
[13:04:40] <Tigerman__> seems now a lot of 1 contraccts trade
[13:05:02] <@wrbtrader> Gotta be very careful trading TF on "reconstituion" trading day
[13:05:41] <@wrbtrader> Yeah...TF had more 1 contract traders today than when it was on CME
[13:06:01] <@wrbtrader> On the CME...more 3 - 9 contract traders
[13:06:18] <@wrbtrader> On the CME...more 1 - 3 contract traders
[13:06:32] <@wrbtrader> meant on the ICE...more 1 - 3 contract traders
[13:07:20] <xtrader34_> Less Volume on TF now than when it was on the CME
[13:12:18] <Tigerman__> simply we need more people involved with market and trading... proposal for dot.com days back :)
[13:17:51] <Tigerman__> I need to exit take care all .. happy easter to everybody and see all next week
[13:21:03] <xtrader34_> Take care and happy Easter too!:-)
[13:36:00] <@wrbtrader> Hi xtrader34...I got your email (didn't realized I didn't respond).
[13:36:14] <@wrbtrader> I'll respond to it later tonight
[13:36:20] <xtrader34_> ok
[13:36:38] <xtrader34_> When you have time :-)
[13:54:31] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1253.80 -> small size
[13:54:41] <@wrbtrader> 2+1 contracts
[13:55:19] <xtrader34_> last minute surge before the holiday
[13:57:16] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1253.10 --> - 0.7
[13:58:01] <@wrbtrader> Emini TF too difficult to trade today for me in contrast to Emini ES futures.
[13:58:05] <xtrader34_> CL
[13:58:34] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1253.40 -> small size
[13:58:39] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[13:59:05] <xtrader34_> I should have specified CL going nuts right now
[14:03:23] <@wrbtrader> Exited Emini TF Long @ 1253.30 --> - 0.1
[14:04:23] <@wrbtrader> That's enough Emini TF futures for me.
[14:04:47] <@wrbtrader> Take care all, have a nice holiday break.
[14:05:01] <xtrader34_> you too!
[14:05:06] <Corner> same from me
Session Close: Fri Apr 03 00:00:00 2015

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
