##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zone, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, WRB Zone, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab chat room is is primarily designed for you to use as a trade journal of your WRB Analysis or real-time trades with time stamp archive....giving you a better understanding of your broker statements from one trade to the next trade when you review your performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary to correlate with your broker statements. Therefore, the usefulness of ##TheStrategyLab chat room is determined via your participation in the chat room.

Also, ##TheStrategyLab chat room is not designed to be educational. Simply, members using the chat room are not there to teach you how to trade and you will not see me discussing the reasons (strategies) behind my trades within ##TheStrategyLab chat room because those reasons (strategies) are only discussed with fee-base clients in a different chat room. Yet, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational or more active in discussing whatever it is that you're trading, we highly recommend that you ask trading related questions about your own trading instead of lurking (not saying anything) because your primary purpose is to improve your trading if you're a struggling trader. Therefore, don't join ##TheStrategyLab and then be silent. To be silent while using ##TheStrategyLab chat room, you'll be wasting a collaboration opportunity for improving your trading and doing such will make ##TheStrategyLab chat room useless to you.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post either one WRB Analysis price action commentary involving any key concept from the free study guide, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room. Exceptions to the chat room participation rule involves those traders that are actively posting elsewhere at TheStrategyLab.com (e.g. DOKs at their support forum in the public area or within their private threads)...these traders are then allowed to not participate in the chat room if that's what they prefer to do instead of asking for help with real-time WRB Analysis.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To qualify for access to our free ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions at the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[11:26:08] <@wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Your use of this chat room implies you're using concepts from WRB Analysis for price action trading to help trade either Stocks, Emini Futures (EMD, TF, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX 6E Futures, Eurex/Euronext Futures (DAX, ESTX50, FTSE100, CAC40, BUND), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), Oil Futures (Brent, CL, HO, QM), Gold GC Futures, Natural Gas NG Futures, Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, XLE, QQQ, SPY), Hang Seng HSI Futures, NIFTY Futures, Forex Currencies (GbpUsd, EurUsd, EurYen, UsdCad) and other key market price actions.
[11:28:59] <@wrbtrader> Emini TF futures bouncing around inside the range of its most recent Up WRB Hidden GAP interval 1min chart
[11:29:25] <@wrbtrader> now near the R area of that WRB Hidden GAP interval
[11:30:17] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini TF @ 1081.60 -> Add
[11:30:28] <@wrbtrader> 2 added
[11:31:24] <@wrbtrader> Covered 1/2 Emini TF Short @ 1081.40 --> + 0.2
[11:31:40] <@wrbtrader> shoul'uv dumped it all
[11:35:04] <jpan> mini db on nq chart, not shorting unles s it shows weakness
[11:35:15] <@wrbtrader> Covered Remainder Emini TF Short @ 1081.70 --> - 0.5
[11:35:22] <@wrbtrader> :(
[11:35:43] <@wrbtrader> too many consecutive intervals getting smaller and with higher lows
[11:36:13] <@wrbtrader> will try again is volatility starts to increase
[11:36:55] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini TF @ 1081.20 -> medium size
[11:37:07] <@wrbtrader> 1+3 contracts
[11:37:30] <jpan> 75.5s
[11:38:22] <@wrbtrader> :(
[11:38:30] <@wrbtrader> Its trying to snap back upwards
[11:38:49] <jpan> 80 stop
[11:41:41] <jpan> lame im done
[11:44:40] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini TF Short @ 1083.20 --> - 2
[11:45:31] <@wrbtrader> S area retest of the most recent Down WRB Hidden GAP...approximately 2 points above my entry
[11:45:35] <@wrbtrader> :(
[11:49:21] <Cayden> 1083.4 is the S area you speak of wrbtrader? im pretty sure i see it
[11:49:28] <@wrbtrader> Top of the range on that breakout @ 1082.80
[11:49:41] <@wrbtrader> Cayden...Yes
[11:52:49] <Cayden> thanks- 1 minute time frames...yikes ...makes me think at a speed i cant...for now.
[11:54:03] <@wrbtrader> You can stil see a similar like Down WRB hidden GAP interval on higher intervals like 2min, 3min and 5min
[11:54:38] <@wrbtrader> Price actions like that puts more importance on those types of WRB Hidden GAP intervals
[11:55:03] <@wrbtrader> Price action now a breakout above the R area of that Down WRB Hidden GAP interval
[11:55:28] <@wrbtrader> lets see if it can hold
[11:55:44] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1085.30 -> medium size
[11:55:52] <@wrbtrader> 4 contracts
[11:56:15] <Cayden> BO above 1085 yep. i c it
[11:56:37] <@wrbtrader> Its struggling alot now
[11:59:40] <@wrbtrader> Emini TF futures volatility declining now within the RANGE of that Down WRB Hidden GAP interval
[12:00:14] <@wrbtrader> Thus, it will take a volatility spike to push it lower to the S area or higher to the R area
[12:00:34] <@wrbtrader> I expect it to chop back n forth inside the RANGE until the volatility shows up
[12:01:31] <Cayden> so far...staying above mid point of recent up wrbhg
[12:02:13] <@wrbtrader> I need to call it quits early today...
[12:02:20] <Cayden> whaich just so happens to = mid point of recnt down wrbhg
[12:02:50] <@wrbtrader> Thus, I need to be careful with the little profits I have remaining today because I won't get a chance to make it back later in the trading session if I lose it
[12:03:40] <Cayden> copy that- thanks for all the informtive diolog on the other chat...
[12:04:12] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1084.70 --> - 0.6
[12:04:37] <@wrbtrader> That wasn't a proper trail stop...
[12:04:54] <@wrbtrader> It was placed at a price that still leaves me profitable for the day
[12:05:57] <@wrbtrader> Also, price action now just ranging (stuck) inside the range of the Down WRB Hidden GAP interval even thoug its now a "filled" range
[12:06:25] <@wrbtrader> In contrast, price action rangeing inside the RANGE of the most recent Up WRB Hidden GAP interval
[12:06:35] <@wrbtrader> That range is still open
[12:06:46] <@wrbtrader> unfilled
[12:07:07] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1085.10 -> medium size
[12:07:15] <@wrbtrader> 4 contracs
[12:07:18] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[12:08:27] <@wrbtrader> R area of the most recent Up WRB HG @ 1084.70
[12:08:34] <@wrbtrader> a good stop/loss placement
[12:08:39] <@wrbtrader> nevermind
[12:08:48] <@wrbtrader> time to trail...its moving higher
[12:08:59] <Cayden> there ya go!!!looks like you have a nice finish
[12:10:29] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached via getting back above the R area of that earlier discussed Down WRB Hidden GAP interval
[12:13:08] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1086.40 --> + 1.3
[12:13:59] <@wrbtrader> That sucks...the way it was moving on increasing volatility...I thought that would be a safe location for a trail @ 1086.40
[12:14:54] <Cayden> o think the IWM HOD made her pause there
[12:16:13] <@wrbtrader> The reason why those types of trail stop hits are bad is because if I get a re-entry signal...its usually at a higher price than my exit price :(
[12:18:36] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1086.90 -> medium size
[12:18:52] <@wrbtrader> 4 contracts
[12:18:54] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[12:19:02] <Cayden> you mean 86.20? was that the re - entry consideration?
[12:19:22] <@wrbtrader> no
[12:19:56] <@wrbtrader> re-entry consideration is now
[12:20:23] <@wrbtrader> Nothing showed up for me to consider a re-entry below 1086.40
[12:20:25] <Cayden> oh yeah
[12:20:59] <@wrbtrader> usually happens like that when price action in an obvious trend or strong continuation price action
[12:22:51] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1086.20 --> - 0.7
[12:23:11] <@wrbtrader> Entries were higher in comparison to prior entries...
[12:23:24] <@wrbtrader> Exits lower in comparison to prior exit
[12:23:35] <@wrbtrader> rollover symptom
[12:25:17] <@wrbtrader> Back near that same tough price areaon area between 1086.20 - 1086.50
[12:26:19] <Cayden> todays market personality does not suit my understanding today. time for a walk. L8TR
[12:26:26] <@wrbtrader> If price pushes blow it...it snaps back up
[12:26:42] <@wrbtrader> If price pushes above it...it snaps back down to it
[12:27:15] <Cayden> yep- C1 gets the hammer
[12:28:56] <@wrbtrader> Russell volatility index also just ranging on low volatility now
[12:30:19] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1087.20 -> medium size
[12:30:24] <@wrbtrader> 4 contracts
[12:30:28] <@wrbtrader> re-entry again
[12:31:22] <@wrbtrader> re-entry signal showed up again as a higher entry price in comparison to the prior re-entry trade
[12:33:37] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1086.10 --> - 1.1
[12:34:25] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini TF @ 1085.20 -> large size
[12:34:40] <@wrbtrader> rolloever showing up now
[12:34:52] <@wrbtrader> meant rolloever
[12:35:38] <@wrbtrader> It has slowly increasing volatility but its too close to an earlier prior tough low volatility range area
[12:35:57] <@wrbtrader> in reference to 1084.30 price area
[12:36:34] <@wrbtrader> :(
[12:37:44] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini TF Short @ 1085.00 --> + 0.2
[12:40:38] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini TF @ 1084.20 -> medium size
[12:40:51] <@wrbtrader> 4 contracts
[12:41:49] * TradeSnake______ is now known as TradeSnake
[12:41:53] * TradeSnake is now known as TradeSnake______
[12:47:09] <@wrbtrader> A lot of RANGE price actions today in Oil CL futures and Gold GC futures...
[12:47:18] <@wrbtrader> Usually not good for the overall markets
[12:48:19] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[12:49:11] <Tigerman__> take care see next time
[12:50:51] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini TF Short @ 1083.20 --> + 1
[12:51:56] <@wrbtrader> I only get a few more tries at this before 3:00pm est

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
