##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRB, WRB Hidden GAP, WRB Zone, WRB profit targets, Key Market Events) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab is primarily designed to only be a trade journal for documentation purposes so that members can have a real time stamp archive of their trades and their market commentaries of each trading day...giving them a better understanding of their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary (journal) to correlate with trades on your broker statements.

Also, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational for you, ask questions instead of lurking (not participating in conversations). You can talk about anything related to price action analysis, trade execution, financial markets, economies or news impacting the markets in general.

The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post at least one WRB Analysis price action commentary, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room. Exceptions for those that are actively posting via private messages or posting at one of our support forums.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To log into ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions here at the FTCHAT Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5 or via the the instructions from the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[10:28:31] <@wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Your use of this chat room implies you're using concepts from WRB Analysis for price action trading to help trade either Stocks, Emini Futures (EMD, TF, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX 6E Futures, Eurex/Euronext Futures (DAX, ESTX50, FTSE100, CAC40, BUND), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), Oil Futures (Brent, CL, HO, QM), Gold GC Futures, Natural Gas NG Futures, Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, XLE, QQQ, SPY), Hang Seng HSI Futures, NIFTY Futures, Forex Currencies (GbpUsd, EurUsd, EurYen, UsdCad) and other key market price actions.
[10:29:39] <t4npaper> exit 1130.1 +.4
[10:33:04] <t4npaper> bit of a rocky ride
[10:40:30] <TigermanTrader> skow action so big wrb hidden gap we can use now
[10:40:39] <TigermanTrader> skow = slow
[10:41:21] <TigermanTrader> yesterday volatility is gone :(
[10:44:41] <@wrbtrader> It never last long :)
[10:44:56] <@wrbtrader> That's why we MUST take advantage of it whenever it shows up.
[10:45:37] <@wrbtrader> Just imagine a gorgeous top model knocks on your door late at night asking if she can stay for the night.
[10:45:40] <@wrbtrader> :)
[10:45:51] <@wrbtrader> Enjoy the night because she'll be gone tomorrow :)
[10:46:53] <@wrbtrader> I'm keeping my position size on the low side today...
[10:47:23] <@wrbtrader> Its very common to trade bad when the volatility dries up after consecutive great (unusual) high volatility market conditions
[10:47:53] <@wrbtrader> bad = price action more difficult to trade
[10:50:46] <@wrbtrader> Reminder: As discussed several months ago...I will soon stop posting my trades and WRB Analysis here in ##TheStrategyLab and will begin doing such in the new chat room.
[10:51:04] <@wrbtrader> Only the active members will gain access after I complete setting up the new room.
[10:51:55] <t4npaper> first ive heard of it
[10:51:58] <@wrbtrader> ##TheStrategyLab will then become an emergency chat room only whenever the other chat room is down for the day for whatever reasons.
[10:52:06] <@wrbtrader> T4npaper...impossible
[10:52:18] <@wrbtrader> You and I have had LONG conversations about it.
[10:52:33] <t4npaper> about a new chat room? nope
[10:52:43] <t4npaper> maybe tiger asked
[10:52:51] <@wrbtrader> You even made a recommendation
[10:53:00] <t4npaper> ?
[10:53:02] <@wrbtrader> Tiger has always asked about the WHEN
[10:53:08] <t4npaper> how recent was this
[10:53:10] <@wrbtrader> You have asked about the WHY
[10:53:25] <t4npaper> oh, i c
[10:53:46] <@wrbtrader> Conversation about it at least a few times per months for the past 2 years.
[10:53:50] <t4npaper> from a long time ago yeah
[10:54:11] <@wrbtrader> There was even a conversation about it yesterday
[10:54:18] <TigermanTrader> oh yes
[10:54:24] <t4npaper> right
[10:54:41] <t4npaper> it just sounded like i sparked this up,
[10:54:54] <t4npaper> if i did, it was a long long time ago
[10:55:17] <@wrbtrader> Yesterday not too long ago :)
[10:55:27] <@wrbtrader> Last month not too long ago :)
[10:55:38] <t4npaper> i most certainly did not talk about another chat room
[10:55:44] <@wrbtrader> No...
[10:55:49] <t4npaper> tiger however has
[10:55:52] <craigaudio> hey i just paid $20 bucks for mIRC registration you swine!
[10:56:02] <t4npaper> lol
[10:56:09] <@wrbtrader> T4...I'm saying you are LOGGED in when the conversations have occurred
[10:56:22] <@wrbtrader> I don't care about the days you're NOT logged in.
[10:56:25] <t4npaper> i got you mark
[10:56:30] <TigermanTrader> so the room will be in Fuze but not a schedule yet right ?
[10:56:54] <@wrbtrader> Its the days that you're logged in is when the conversations have happen about the discussions of the new pending chat room
[10:57:29] <@wrbtrader> Like I joked back then...I guarantee you someone will say they don't remember any conversations while they were logged in :)
[10:57:40] <t4npaper> yes, i thought you were talking about mirc, so... confusion over
[10:57:59] <@wrbtrader> No...I never said I'm starting a new chat room on IRC
[10:58:27] <@wrbtrader> I've specifically stated the chat room will LEAVE IRC because of all the registered members that are NOT ABLE to log in.
[10:58:36] <@wrbtrader> +345 members
[10:58:42] <t4npaper> yep
[10:58:56] <@wrbtrader> 2 years is too long to be waiting...I think
[10:58:59] <@wrbtrader> :)
[10:59:08] <t4npaper> now i gather your frustration with my "first i've heard of it" comment lol
[10:59:14] <t4npaper> yes, well aware of fuze
[10:59:40] <@wrbtrader> Yep, I know you're aware of Fuzemeeting and other software conversations
[10:59:58] <@wrbtrader> Its' coming...many have been warned
[11:00:08] <@wrbtrader> Many will say they didn't know
[11:00:22] <t4npaper> <----
[11:00:31] <TigermanTrader> my body shaking ----
[11:00:32] <@wrbtrader> But don't worry...
[11:00:47] <@wrbtrader> ##TheStrategyLab will still remain OPEN
[11:00:51] <TigermanTrader> I waited so looong
[11:00:54] <@wrbtrader> It is not closing
[11:01:28] <t4npaper> eminis and oil making new day highs
[11:01:50] <TigermanTrader> wrbtrader any plan the new room open before summer ?
[11:02:10] <@wrbtrader> I don't control the software
[11:02:31] <@wrbtrader> As soon as they release their updated version that's "suppose" to have some additional features I need...
[11:02:37] <@wrbtrader> I'll use it immediately
[11:02:39] <TigermanTrader> because I remember you wait some new feature
[11:03:41] <TigermanTrader> ok I can call it and shout I need they add immediatly the required stuff :)
[11:03:50] <@wrbtrader> [10:55:52] <craigaudio> hey i just paid $20 bucks for mIRC registration you swine!
[11:04:09] <@wrbtrader> ##TheStrategyLab will not close you swine :)
[11:04:24] <@wrbtrader> Seriously, its not going anyware.
[11:04:27] <craigaudio> haha
[11:04:30] <TigermanTrader> the most request seem the chat log right?
[11:04:55] <@wrbtrader> Tiger...yep...the big issue is the chat log.
[11:05:15] <@wrbtrader> A simple thing like that and they thought users wouldn't want...strange.
[11:05:50] <@wrbtrader> Its a collaboration tool and they really thought those using their program would NOT be interested in recording the text conversation.
[11:05:53] <t4npaper> I likely will not be able to take advantage of fuze due to my location
[11:06:02] <TigermanTrader> umhh but it is very strange we cannot have a log of the chat
[11:06:20] <@wrbtrader> Tiger...actually its not strange...
[11:06:39] <@wrbtrader> Most collaboration tools don't do group recordings.
[11:06:40] <t4npaper> maybe when i'm going live and i leave this place
[11:06:48] <TigermanTrader> I mean it is suppose we type a text and see what others type
[11:06:51] <@wrbtrader> Most will do individual chat logs.
[11:06:57] <@wrbtrader> Just not the group thingy
[11:07:32] <TigermanTrader> I mean something should be stored in local in our pc
[11:07:51] <@wrbtrader> You would think but its not
[11:08:13] <TigermanTrader> at this point I m curious and read in more detail the spec of fuze
[11:08:29] <@wrbtrader> Only the old programs like IRC still use archive chat log storage as a common feature
[11:08:53] <TigermanTrader> [17:08:21] <@wrbtrader> You would think but its not yeah very poor decision from the software guys
[11:09:13] <@wrbtrader> They have logs but not what I need
[11:10:04] <TigermanTrader> what they log ?
[11:10:14] <@wrbtrader> For example, if you do screen sharing (allowing someone to view your screen)...you can do "recording of the screen sharing session" for storage on their servers (extremely expensive) or for storage on your hard drive (free)
[11:10:23] <TigermanTrader> and what about the vido share I assume they not store
[11:10:38] <TigermanTrader> because needs a lot of memory
[11:10:44] <@wrbtrader> The issue is the TEXT logging
[11:11:03] <@wrbtrader> Logging ins a chronological order
[11:11:43] <@wrbtrader> Instead, you must COPY and then PASTE they log into a text file and then give your text file a date.
[11:12:20] <@wrbtrader> I don't have time to COPY & PASTE to create my own text log every night all conversations with anyone I'm having a conversation with.
[11:12:27] <@wrbtrader> I want it done automatically like IRC
[11:13:04] <TigermanTrader> ah ok I forget to consider you manage a lot of chat with many people
[11:13:12] <@wrbtrader> Bingo
[11:13:50] <TigermanTrader> simply I think on my side and it is simply
[11:14:41] <@wrbtrader> Once again for those like craig's concern...
[11:14:41] <TigermanTrader> only 2 chat usually that I copy the text and put in a folder with month and so on
[11:15:08] <@wrbtrader> ##TheStrategyLab will remain open. Never will it close unless IRC blows up.
[11:15:26] <robbin_banks> gm everyone
[11:15:33] <@wrbtrader> You guys that want to just hang out here can continue doing such.
[11:16:01] <TigermanTrader> hi robbin
[11:16:18] <craigaudio> ok so is the other room going to be like a subscription or something?
[11:16:36] <@wrbtrader> No...
[11:16:40] <TigermanTrader> ok I cross my finger and wait x the new update
[11:16:57] <@wrbtrader> Craig...it will always be free.
[11:17:03] <@wrbtrader> Yet...here's the difference...
[11:17:08] <@wrbtrader> IRC is free too.
[11:17:27] <@wrbtrader> In contrast, I'm going to have to pay for Fuzemeeting out of my "own pocket".
[11:17:32] <craigaudio> ok. sorry if im asking Qs already addressed before. usually watching the markets and not read all the chat on the new room fully.
[11:17:46] <@wrbtrader> Simply, if I have to pay for it...with I do...
[11:17:54] <@wrbtrader> I ONLY want active traders in it.
[11:18:02] <@wrbtrader> I don't want anyone else in it.
[11:18:25] <@wrbtrader> In contrast, if someone pays for Fuzemeeting out of their own pocket...
[11:18:32] <@wrbtrader> They can log in and never speak.
[11:18:36] <@wrbtrader> I don't really care.
[11:19:12] <@wrbtrader> The more that use it...the more I pay.
[11:19:47] <@wrbtrader> Folks that just want to read the log...they can read it after the markets close when I post the archive logs.
[11:20:09] <@wrbtrader> Yet, hopefully I'll be able to also post archive "video" from the trading day.
[11:20:26] <@wrbtrader> Doesn't seem likely considering I've already tested such...
[11:20:37] <@wrbtrader> A whopping 4 gigabytes for one day :(
[11:20:38] <@wrbtrader> eeek
[11:20:42] <t4npaper> long TF 1130.2
[11:21:09] <@wrbtrader> How many trading days in a year X 4 gigs per day
[11:21:42] <@wrbtrader> I don't have storage for such unless I archive it on DVD like I already do via Camtasia
[11:22:02] <@wrbtrader> Maintaining video archives is a daily huge project
[11:22:16] <@wrbtrader> Camtasia is hard enough for me.
[11:22:32] <@wrbtrader> Thus, not likely I'm going to do the same in Fuzemeeting.
[11:22:40] <TigermanTrader> yeah big project
[11:22:45] <@wrbtrader> in reference to video archives
[11:22:54] <TigermanTrader> you can compact the video but quality suffer
[11:23:39] <TigermanTrader> also use blue ray vs dvd
[11:23:42] <@wrbtrader> I can squeeze one trading day on a DVD disc just as long as don't record all my monitors
[11:23:51] <@wrbtrader> No more than 2 monitors
[11:23:54] <TigermanTrader> 50GB vs 5GB 10 times more
[11:24:24] <robbin_banks> short es 1782.75 5 contracts
[11:24:40] <@wrbtrader> I have about 5 years of video recordings on DVD...a big archive.
[11:25:29] <@wrbtrader> I recently bought 6 storage cabinets
[11:25:31] <robbin_banks> cover all es short 1782.25 +.50
[11:25:31] <TigermanTrader> most important x me is the trading instrument like tf and a close pair (like ES) x example + his X-trader dome + his Time & sales
[11:25:55] <@wrbtrader> 5 years of DVDs filled up one storage cabinate
[11:26:00] <t4npaper> reverse TF 1129.7
[11:26:16] <TigermanTrader> yeah now Terabyte is chepaer vs years ago
[11:26:45] <@wrbtrader> You can't put a Terabyte on a DVD
[11:27:06] <@wrbtrader> unless there's new technology I don't know about
[11:27:12] <TigermanTrader> no but you can do the contrary :)
[11:27:18] <TigermanTrader> that wgat I mean
[11:28:19] <@wrbtrader> Sorry, I'm not a big fan of putting tons of trading days on ONE single source
[11:28:53] <@wrbtrader> I want each trading day to have its own individual storage and visual and portable
[11:29:43] <TigermanTrader> yeah right but you can split in more HD for crash reason
[11:30:06] <@wrbtrader> Tigerman...we're talking about two different things.
[11:30:13] <@wrbtrader> Your talking about storage drives
[11:30:24] <@wrbtrader> I'm talking about Wall Cabinets :)
[11:30:51] <TigermanTrader> also consider DVD mastered at home have limited time span
[11:31:15] <robbin_banks> short es emini 18783.00 5 contracts
[11:31:30] <TigermanTrader> unless you let print them in factory
[11:31:35] <@wrbtrader> Yeah...that's what I keep hearing but I still have DVDs working great when DVDs first came out.
[11:31:50] <@wrbtrader> No deterioation or load problems with the stored videos
[11:32:30] <@wrbtrader> Speaking of which...
[11:32:43] <TigermanTrader> yeah me too no problem on my material stored in good quality dvd and keep in controlled enviroment
[11:32:55] <@wrbtrader> I play one of my old DVDs of the original Halo for my kid
[11:32:59] <TigermanTrader> but is not garanteed
[11:32:59] <@wrbtrader> It worked just fine.
[11:33:12] <@wrbtrader> Anybody that knows Halo knows how long its been around
[11:33:24] <craigaudio> i played the first one
[11:33:30] <craigaudio> is it really that old now?
[11:33:30] <TigermanTrader> yeah but is original not mastered by you right ?
[11:33:36] <@wrbtrader> Nope
[11:33:43] <@wrbtrader> Original game DVD
[11:33:51] <t4npaper> e 1130.7 -1
[11:34:08] <TigermanTrader> yeah original game bought in shop
[11:34:23] <craigaudio> wow 2001
[11:34:28] <TigermanTrader> in that case is different tech almost ethernal
[11:34:56] <TigermanTrader> 2 different beast vs mostering at home
[11:35:03] <TigermanTrader> mastering
[11:35:43] <@wrbtrader> A few nights ago I used one of my DVDS from 2002 of a family re-union I videotaped and stored on DVD.
[11:35:50] <@wrbtrader> Looks like it was done yesterday
[11:35:51] <TigermanTrader> infact I ll plan to give some my own material to the factory to be pressed like the one you buy at shop
[11:36:42] <robbin_banks> cover all es short @1782.50 +.50
[11:37:06] <@wrbtrader> Yet, I did have problems viewing it on my blu ray but not on my computer and not on my old DVD player of 3 years
[11:37:11] <robbin_banks> short es 1782.00 5 contracts
[11:37:34] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini TF @ 1125.50 -> large size
[11:37:43] <@wrbtrader> 3+3 contracts
[11:37:43] <t4npaper> jeez
[11:38:06] <TigermanTrader> priority is my personal event then som audio library of my recording
[11:38:14] <@wrbtrader> lets see if this volatility can pick up some steam and remind us of any of the past several trading days
[11:38:14] <t4npaper> my long was good and my short was good, but my timeing was not
[11:38:46] <TigermanTrader> yeah not always easy cach soon the good one t4n
[11:40:12] <@wrbtrader> See how fast the volatility showed up and now its stalling or contracting...
[11:41:02] <@wrbtrader> Its that stalling that causes us to "early exit" because we often think its going to retrace back
[11:41:17] <robbin_banks> covered es sahort 17800.00 +2.0
[11:41:57] <robbin_banks> YES!! Mr Perry..I just covered for that reason when you typed that
[11:42:04] <@wrbtrader> correction
[11:42:15] <@wrbtrader> my entry was typed 1125.50

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Also, to prevent the usual mix-up about our different chat rooms, most of our fee-base clients do not use chat rooms just like most retail traders do not use chat rooms. Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Qu├ębec, Canada in eastern daylight time
