Phone: +1 708 572-4885
Free Trading Room: http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5
Business Hours: 8am - 5pm est (Mon - Fri)
##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRB, WRB Hidden GAP, WRB Zone, WRB profit targets, Key Market Events) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.
##TheStrategyLab is primarily designed to only be a trade journal for documentation purposes so that members can have a real time stamp archive of their trades and their market commentaries of each trading day...giving them a better understanding of their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary (journal) to correlate with trades on your broker statements.
Also, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational for you, ask questions instead of lurking (not participating in conversations). You can talk about anything related to price action analysis, trade execution, financial markets, economies or news impacting the markets in general.
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post at least one WRB Analysis price action commentary, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room. Exceptions for those that are actively posting via private messages or posting at one of our support forums.
With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To log into ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions here at the FTCHAT Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5 or via the the instructions from the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[14:25:32] <robbin_banks> mr perry are u saying that when price leaves an HG u expect to see a volatility spike?
[14:26:15] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 1843.50 --> + 2
[14:26:27] <robbin_banks> nice!
[14:26:27] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt2 reached
[14:26:47] <@wrbtrader> I'm saying this is the Beige Book and volatility maker...
[14:26:53] <@wrbtrader> The volatility is not there.
[14:27:04] <robbin_banks> oh ok
[14:27:06] <@wrbtrader> Just creeper price action on low volatility
[14:27:24] <robbin_banks> thanks
[14:27:48] <@wrbtrader> I was expecting a big WRB Hidden GAP as soon as the Beige Book was released...
[14:27:54] <@wrbtrader> It did not happen
[14:28:44] <robbin_banks> gottcha
[14:28:45] <@wrbtrader> Then again, I thought it was "odd or strange" that the Beige Book was only discussed a few times in the recent days by the major financial networks...
[14:28:50] <@wrbtrader> as if it was not important
[14:29:37] <@wrbtrader> They need to hire Miley Cyrus to do some "twerking" to folks interested in trading.
[14:30:12] <@wrbtrader> boring price action today
[14:30:12] <robbin_banks> hehehe...funny stuff
[14:31:06] <robbin_banks> unless your me and push the wrong button..twice! then it gets real exciting real quick
[14:31:57] <robbin_banks> well for being bored id say youve done really good today
[14:32:03] <@wrbtrader> I usually push 5x more contracts by now in the price action involving the Beige Book...that's why this price action seems like the typical normal low volatility junk
[14:33:27] <robbin_banks> i did notice your smaller contracts but i dont think youve lost a single trade
[14:34:36] <robbin_banks> so thats a good day ..right?
[14:36:10] <@wrbtrader> Several days ago I said something like we know something is wrong when we're "complaining" about the price action after getting a 2 - 4 point trade in Emini TF futures or Emini ES futures
[14:36:49] <robbin_banks> yeah right!!lol
[14:37:04] <@wrbtrader> Simply, too many trading days full of junk...
[14:37:29] <@wrbtrader> These 2 - 4 point trades would normally be 5 - 10 points on decent volatility
[14:38:18] <robbin_banks> see to me , a new guy, 2-4 points a day...is winning!!
[14:39:05] <robbin_banks> im still in the "hope i dont lose" category
[14:40:25] <@wrbtrader> This is the type of price action that makes you give up or call it quits EARLY for the day...
[14:41:33] <@wrbtrader> Then after we're gone...it makes a decent strong continuation price action
[14:42:10] <@wrbtrader> That eventually results in us just sitting here all day afraid to miss the move when it eventually decides to show up
[14:43:17] <robbin_banks> you are sure right!!
[14:46:06] <NDW> The emini's have not filled their opening gaps, nor has there been any chance for those who shorted the open to get out at even. That may provide an opportunity late in the session.
[14:51:33] <NDW> VIX 12.09 - stayed in low 12's all day
[15:20:55] <@wrbtrader> Fed Beige Book shows positive outlook (MarketWatch) @ http://www.marketwatch.com/story/fed-be ... =countdown
[15:21:29] <@wrbtrader> ##TheStrategyLab -> - This chat room is not intended to be educational because the chat room is designed for you to use it as your own personal journal as a trader. Yet, if you have trading related questions or you need help in understanding the price action you're trading, it's your responsibility to ask questions in here to get answers. Simply, nobody in here can read your mind if you LURK (do not ask questions).
[15:23:05] <robbin_banks> could this be volatity in the emini creeping in?
[15:26:56] <@wrbtrader> Its trying

[15:38:09] <robbin_banks> gotta run guys..thanks for lettin' me hang out!..see ya'll tomarrow...ment exit at 1842.75, not 1542.75

[15:38:31] <t4npaper> .1
[15:39:48] <t4npaper> bit of aggressive stop, oh well

[15:53:13] <@wrbtrader> along with too much contraction
[15:53:28] <@wrbtrader> in reference to the contraction showing up after the WRB pt1

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.
Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.
The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.
Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.
In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.
