##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRB, WRB Hidden GAP, WRB Zone, WRB profit targets, Key Market Events) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab is primarily designed to only be a trade journal for documentation purposes so that members can have a real time stamp archive of their trades and their market commentaries of each trading day...giving them a better understanding of their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary (journal) to correlate with trades on your broker statements.

Also, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational for you, ask questions instead of lurking (not participating in conversations). You can talk about anything related to price action analysis, trade execution, financial markets, economies or news impacting the markets in general.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post at least one WRB Analysis price action commentary, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To log into ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions here at the FTCHAT Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5 or via the the instructions from the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[09:54:07] <NDW> long TF @ 8:42:36 @ 1016.2 (2) contracts, stopped moved to +2 ticks; stopped @ +2 @ 8:45

[09:54:52] <TigermanTrader> exit es 1643.5 +1 tick
[09:57:55] <NDW> TF 3 min chart large WRBHG on spike upward
[10:15:11] <wrbtrader> Price action has slowed down with the volatility contraction
[10:46:52] <squiggles> KME 1400 hrs Beige Book
[10:52:43] <squiggles> 6E volatility spike
[10:53:13] <wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1022.70 -> medium size
[10:53:20] <wrbtrader> 4 contracts
[10:56:27] <wrbtrader> I took a long rest and watch Emini TF go up and up...
[10:56:42] <wrbtrader> now that I'm rested...I go long and its against me :)
[10:57:18] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1021.70 --> - 1
[10:58:33] <wrbtrader> I had about 7 trades like this the past 25 trading days...all of them losers after I ignore many Long signals (that would have been profitable by many points each) to take a mental rest.
[10:58:58] <wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1021.90 -> large size
[10:59:03] <wrbtrader> 6 contracts
[10:59:07] <wrbtrader> same price action
[10:59:09] <wrbtrader> re-entry
[11:01:07] <squiggles> CL moveing
[11:01:18] <wrbtrader> Trading Emini ES and Emini TF futures has been overall tougher to trade the past 2 months mainly due to the volatility contraction in other key markets.
[11:01:53] <wrbtrader> Thus, key markets have been having more problems being insync together in the volatility spike movements and contraction...
[11:02:18] <wrbtrader> WRB Hidden GAPs occurring not together or very wide apart from each other.
[11:03:28] <wrbtrader> need a 1023.50 to make it worthwhile trading Emini TF futures so far today.
[11:04:15] <wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[11:04:42] <wrbtrader> Emini ES futures volatility spike and breakout of the prior contracting volatility
[11:05:11] <wrbtrader> Crude Oil CL futures had its own volatility spike about 2 intervals ago on the 3min chart
[11:09:19] <t4npaper> long cl 107.56
[11:11:27] <wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1023.70 --> + 1.8
[11:12:39] <t4npaper> ouch, exit +.2
[11:12:46] <t4npaper> .02
[11:16:07] <t4npaper> long cl 107.5 reentry
[11:18:48] <t4npaper> exit .02 again
[11:19:16] <t4npaper> was hoping gold vol would transfer to cl
[11:19:57] <t4npaper> now it did, and reached a pt1
[11:23:12] <TigermanTrader> take care see next time
[11:24:43] <NDW> headed to ortho suregon for consult on pin in shoulder, back later on
[11:24:53] <wrbtrader> Good luck
[11:25:05] <NDW> thank you
[11:25:44] <wrbtrader> When they said they are going to cut you when they count to 5...they'll do it when they get to 3 :)
[11:25:56] <ryangary> ha!
[11:26:06] <ryangary> not laughing at you...just thought that was funny
[11:26:58] <wrbtrader> Forex EurUsd still staying above the Up WRB Hidden GAPs it created since 1030am est
[11:27:11] <wrbtrader> same with EurofX 6E futures
[11:41:50] <wrbtrader> Emini ES futurs still powering upwards
[11:42:30] <wrbtrader> The current volatility spike on the 3min chart of Emini ES futures will most likely turn into a WRB Hidden GAP
[11:54:41] <wrbtrader> While the Emini futures are still rising...
[11:54:56] <wrbtrader> Crude Oil CL futures in a tight trading range on low volatility
[11:55:09] <wrbtrader> meant Gold GC futures
[12:04:07] <wrbtrader> Participation Rule -> - The password for ##TheStrategyLab chat room will change on Saturday September 7th. The traders that are members of the TSL Support Forum...that have posted a trader profile and DOKs for tutorial chapters 1 and 2 will be allowed access to the new password. Those that have ONLY posted a trader profile and no DOKs...you will not be given access to the new password until you post your DOKs (no exceptions) for tutorial chapters 1 and 2. This only impacts members of the TSL Support Forum and not members of the other private forums.
[12:07:06] * wrbtrader is now known as wrbtrader_lunch
[13:21:57] <Donnin_____> anyone know off hand how many times a month market goes in-sync like today
[14:22:00] * wrbtrader_lunch is now known as wrbtrader
[14:22:23] <wrbtrader> Just got back from a long lunch
[14:23:59] <wrbtrader> Donnin...key markets are usually insync about 10 out of 21 tradings days per month with their volatility surges and/or contracting volatility movements as in within a 5 min window.
[14:24:30] <wrbtrader> outside the 5 min window I don't consider them "insync"
[14:25:14] <wrbtrader> For example, if the Euro moves via a volatility spike at 1015am est and then the Emini Futures have a volatility spike @ 1025am (outside the 5min window)...
[14:25:25] <wrbtrader> I don't consider those key markets insync
[14:31:12] <wrbtrader> Geeesh...who killed the volatility in the Emini futures
[14:33:09] <JetJockBoston> I plead 'ignorance' but what's the DOK acronym stand for?
[14:33:28] <wrbtrader> Demonstration of Knowledge = DOK
[14:34:03] <TigermanTrader> hi all again
[14:34:21] <JetJockBoston> and what suffices a demonstration of knowledge for posting purposes (re: new password)? Thanks
[14:34:23] <TigermanTrader> I m here for some reaction to beige book
[14:34:31] <TigermanTrader> bothing happen :(
[14:34:45] <TigermanTrader> bothing=nothing
[14:35:30] <TigermanTrader> simply volatility is not here
[15:12:44] <wrbtrader> JetJock...I've had too many register new members that wanted access to the chat room and they didn't know what a WRB, WRB Hidden GAP or WRB profit targets.
[15:13:20] <wrbtrader> Thus, the requirement of posting DOKs to show that they understand the definitions at the minimum is now a requirement to access ##TheStrategyLab
[15:13:38] <wrbtrader> It also helps tremendously to get rid of the "drive by curiosity seekers".
[15:25:15] <ryangary> authorized a limited strike
[15:26:22] <ryangary> cyria
[15:26:25] <t4npaper> thanks
[15:29:54] <wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 1651.25 -> small size
[15:30:02] <wrbtrader> 5 contracts
[15:30:30] <wrbtrader> oouch
[15:30:33] <wrbtrader> :(
[15:32:06] <TigermanTrader> short es 1651.5
[15:32:15] <wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 1651.00 --> + 0.25
[15:32:25] <wrbtrader> that was a trade error
[15:32:35] <wrbtrader> wasn't trying to catch a tick only :(
[15:32:43] <wrbtrader> big mental error on that
[15:32:46] <TigermanTrader> good escape
[15:32:51] <wrbtrader> goal was a WRB pt1
[15:33:02] <wrbtrader> I'm done for the day after a mistake like that.
[15:33:55] <TigermanTrader> wrbtrader do you mean you exit too soon ?
[15:34:02] <TigermanTrader> that was the error ?
[15:40:59] <TigermanTrader> exit es 1650 +1.5
[16:42:21] <TigermanTrader> take care all

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.
