##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRB, WRB Hidden GAP, WRB Zone, WRB profit targets, Key Market Events) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab is primarily designed to only be a trade journal for documentation purposes so that members can have a real time stamp archive of their trades and their market commentaries of each trading day...giving them a better understanding of their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary (journal) to correlate with trades on your broker statements.

Also, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational for you, ask questions instead of lurking (not participating in conversations). You can talk about anything related to price action analysis, trade execution, financial markets, economies or news impacting the markets in general.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders learning or applying concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are required to post at least one WRB Analysis price action commentary, one real-time trade or one general trading related commentary per day they log-in to the chat room. Yet, if the trader decides to post real-time trades (simulator or real-money)...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently log-in and not post any price action commentary involving WRB Analysis or post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To log into ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions here at the FTCHAT Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5 or via the the instructions from the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[09:25:16] <canaandog> good morning
[09:30:03] <canaandog> nice looking dcm in eminis since around 0840
[09:33:51] <@wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Your use of this chat room implies you're using concepts from WRB Analysis for price action trading to help trade either Stocks, Emini Futures (EMD, TF, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX 6E Futures, Eurex/Euronext Futures (DAX, ESTX50, FTSE100, CAC40, BUND), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), Oil Futures (Brent, CL, HO, QM), Gold GC Futures, Natural Gas NG Futures, Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, XLE, QQQ, SPY), Hang Seng HSI Futures, NIFTY Futures, Forex Currencies (GbpUsd, EurUsd, EurYen, UsdCad) and other key market price actions.
[09:52:15] <@wrbtrader> SPY inside the range of yesterday's WRB Hidden GAP of 1539pm - 1542pm est 3min chart
[09:52:33] <@wrbtrader> That WRB Hidden GAP is also a WRB Zone
[09:53:00] <@wrbtrader> SPY now testing the R area of that WRB Zone
[09:54:29] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1636.25 -> large size
[09:54:52] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1637.50 -> Add
[09:55:03] <@wrbtrader> :(
[09:55:29] <@wrbtrader> 15 contracts on the initial and then 5 on the add
[09:55:53] <@wrbtrader> made a mistake on the initial entry...should have been 20 contracts (no 15)
[09:56:28] <@wrbtrader> slowly losing my wiggle room
[09:59:03] <@wrbtrader> volatility contraction showing up now
[09:59:32] <@wrbtrader> Crude Oil CL futures and Gold GC futures now doing much...just hanging out
[10:01:15] <@wrbtrader> goal of this trade is a WRB pt2 but I've now changed that to a WRB pt1 because of the volatility contraction
[10:01:33] <squiggles> KME 1030 Natural Gas Storage
[10:01:51] <@wrbtrader> Exited 1/4 Emini TF Long @ 1637.50 --> 0
[10:02:02] <squiggles> Stoxx50 and DAX static last 25m
[10:02:06] <@wrbtrader> Exited Remainder Emini TF Long @ 1637.50 --> + 1.25
[10:02:14] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[10:02:34] <@wrbtrader> Emini ES trade...not Emini TF
[10:02:49] <@wrbtrader> my trade script still stuck on TF
[10:03:49] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 1636.25 -> large size
[10:03:55] <@wrbtrader> 10 contracts
[10:03:59] <@wrbtrader> re-entry
[10:04:03] <@wrbtrader> same price action
[10:04:52] <@wrbtrader> trying to make up for the mismanage position size on those 5 contract add
[10:05:12] <@wrbtrader> just need 3 ticks
[10:05:36] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[10:05:48] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 1637.25 --> + 1
[10:06:31] <@wrbtrader> I think I got what I needed out of that WRB Zone of SPY for trading the Emini ES futures
[10:07:22] <@wrbtrader> Haven't seen any Short signals out of that WRB Zone...just Long signals
[10:23:47] <NDW> first WRB after 7:30 cst announcements in 3 min TF (1018.5 - 1019.5), was WRB zone due to bearish swing point.
[10:27:32] <NDW> Used as valid zone during session with long entry signal @ 8:46 when zone entered.
[10:29:53] <@wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Chat room for day traders, swing traders, position traders using concepts from WRB Analysis such as contracting volatility, key market event (KME), reaction high/low, WRB, WRB Hidden GAP, WRB Zone, WRB pt levels to help improve understanding of the price action their trading and/or improve the performance of their trade signal strategies while price action trading. WRB Analysis free study guide @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum ... =119&t=718 or http://www.twileshare.com/user/wrbtrader
[10:31:54] <NDW> wrbtrader: Does the premarket zone fill completely cancel the zone for the day session?
[10:32:35] <@wrbtrader> No
[10:32:59] <@wrbtrader> Only a day session zone can fill in another day session zone.
[10:33:20] <@wrbtrader> If I understood you're question correctly.
[10:33:30] <@wrbtrader> However, if you're asking something else like...
[10:34:43] <@wrbtrader> You're looking at an all session chart and there's a Zone (open) in the regular session hours that later gets filled in by the price action in the overnight (same all session chart)...
[10:34:53] <@wrbtrader> Yes, that regular session zone gets filled
[10:34:58] <NDW> thank you - you understood it correctly - the strong reaction to the 7:30 anncs and subsequent retracement with strong upward action seemed like a good signal
[10:46:20] <@wrbtrader> got my charts back up...had to do a reboot of the charts
[10:46:49] <@wrbtrader> Eminis still moving higher in a strong continuation direction...a TREND
[10:47:08] <@wrbtrader> Crude Oil CL futures seems asleep to volatility changes in other key markets
[11:30:15] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini TF @ 1027.10 -> small size
[11:30:28] <@wrbtrader> 2 contracts
[11:44:25] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[11:44:51] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini TF Long @ 1028.00 --> + 0.9
[11:44:54] <NDW> wrbtrader: PT1 = > 10 ticks based uopn 3 min chart? i.e. 1028.1?
[11:45:18] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 was reached on both the 2min and 3min chart
[11:45:33] <NDW> had question typed early but waited for exit before sending
[11:46:32] <NDW> i have 2,3,5 & 15 min charts up - it seems more logical to base trade enties off of 3 min to me
[11:47:13] <NDW> wrbtrader: does the 2 & 3 min charts weigh heavier on entries to you?
[11:47:20] <@wrbtrader> If you're trying to slow down your trading...use only one chart interval or a higher time frame
[11:47:47] <@wrbtrader> I have no favorites for chart time frame for my entries...
[11:47:56] <@wrbtrader> I take whatever time frame has a trade signal
[11:48:05] <NDW> which wrb zone were you basing this entry off of?
[11:48:11] <@wrbtrader> Reason why I use 2min, 3min, 5min and 15min
[11:48:29] <@wrbtrader> My entry based off the advance tutorial chapters
[11:49:09] <NDW> okay, so 15 or higher time frame not used as confirmation, but as stand alone
[11:49:36] <@wrbtrader> Can you say that a different way...it doesn't make sense.
[11:50:06] <@wrbtrader> Lets put it this way...
[11:50:34] <@wrbtrader> If I see a trade signal on the 15min chart...I'm not going to ignore it because I wanted to see it on the 3min chart
[11:51:17] <@wrbtrader> Yet, if I'm having data problems or I'm mobile (one screen only)...
[11:51:24] <NDW> your explanation makes sense - left handed typing is tough to put thoughts on screen
[11:51:37] <@wrbtrader> I'll use the 5min chart only
[11:52:57] <NDW> thank you - do you still use creeper movement for large% of trades? is that covered in advanced chapers?
[11:55:08] <@wrbtrader> NDW...its all explained @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/WRBAnalysisTutorials.htm
[11:55:40] <MattR_> Increasing Volatility in Crude Oil CL Futures.
[11:56:13] <@wrbtrader> I came here today looking to trade Crude Oil CL futures...
[11:56:29] <@wrbtrader> Its not doing to much since 0930am est :(
[11:56:45] <@wrbtrader> until now
[11:57:35] <@wrbtrader> I really didn't want to do any trading in Emini ES or TF futures

[12:07:58] <@wrbtrader> more contraction again in Crude Oil CL futures :(
[12:08:19] <@wrbtrader> now slowly increasing volatility
[12:15:46] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached again
[12:15:55] <@wrbtrader> still holding for a WRB pt2
[12:16:13] <@wrbtrader> trailing @ profit
[12:18:09] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Light Crude Oil CL Short @ 109.15 --> + 0.02

[12:20:31] <JetJockBoston> WRB, checking my quotes, I don't see any 109.17 print anywhere in the 11:00-11:15 range...
[12:22:18] <JetJockBoston> mine show 109.30 or above in that period...can you confirm? or someone else there were prices traded in the 109.17 area around 11:08 EST?
[12:22:33] <JetJockBoston> (I'm using Tradestation)
[12:23:54] <NDW> are you using clv13 contract
[12:25:02] <JetJockBoston> yes, and I just looked at my IB quotes as well, it traded 109.17, but it was in the 10:55 time frame...maybe WRBtrader just posted real late...which isn't normally the case
[12:26:27] <canaandog> from 1100 to 1140 ET I have cl above 109.24, but I have his trade posting here at 1158
[12:26:57] <MattR_> I think you are off by an hour. wrbtrader's CL trade occurred at almost noon ET.
[12:27:00] <NDW> 11:04 cst bar in 2 min chart had range of 109.12 -109.19 in TS in CLV13
[12:27:10] <canaandog> from 1144 to now it's been across 109.17 several times
[12:27:22] <JetJockBoston> huh...my posting shows 11:08:28 as "Shorts Light Cruide Oil CL @ 109.17"
[12:27:35] <MattR_> 11:58 <@wrbtrader> Shorts Light Crude Oil CL @ 109.17 -> small size
[12:27:38] <JetJockBoston> I'm EST
[12:27:42] <@wrbtrader> Yeah, he's either on a different contract or something wrong with his clock
[12:28:20] <NDW> 11:04 was my posting time, all in line with charts
[12:28:21] <JetJockBoston> yes, confirmed, thanks...my clock is messed up....

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
