##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRB, WRB Hidden GAP, WRB Zone) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab is primarily designed to only be a trade journal for documentation purposes so that members can have a real time stamp archive of their trades and their market commentaries of each trading day...giving them a better understanding of their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary (journal) to correlate with trades on your broker statements.

Also, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational for you, ask questions instead of lurking (not participating in conversations). You can talk about anything related to price action analysis, trade execution, financial markets, economies or news impacting the markets in general.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders using concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are not required to post trades but if you do post trades...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To log into ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions here at the FTCHAT Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5 or via the the instructions from the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[10:09:42] <TigermanTrader> yep seems same level I have on 2 min
[10:09:52] <@wrbtrader> 974.20
[10:10:19] <@wrbtrader> 942.20 is a different key area I'm watching on a higher time frame chart if price drops down to it
[10:11:58] <TigermanTrader> wrbtrader 942.2 seems very far in time in TF
[10:12:57] <TigermanTrader> are you looking in daily chart?
[10:13:17] <TigermanTrader> curiously I no have wrb HG at that level
[10:14:13] <TigermanTrader> neither in hourly charts
[10:15:31] <@wrbtrader> If you can't see 942 on your charts...
[10:15:38] <@wrbtrader> You don't have historical data
[10:16:39] <TigermanTrader> I see 942 but not have wrb hg s/r at that level :)
[10:16:56] <TigermanTrader> but now I see you not mentioned a wrb hg
[10:17:12] <@wrbtrader> You sure you're looking at Emini TF futures ?
[10:17:36] <TigermanTrader> so maybe your 942 level is important for other reason or different type of interval
[10:17:45] <TigermanTrader> sure
[10:18:01] <@wrbtrader> [10:16:39] <TigermanTrader> I see 942 but not have wrb hg s/r at that level :)
[10:18:19] <@wrbtrader> It's a HUGE WRB Hidden GAP
[10:18:21] <TigermanTrader> I can check it again
[10:18:34] <@wrbtrader> I'm now curious how you can missed that WRB Hidden GAP
[10:18:47] <@wrbtrader> I'll help you...
[10:19:25] <@wrbtrader> Hourly chart on May 3rd Friday...one hour interval for the 0800am - 0900am est
[10:19:59] <TigermanTrader> yes the same I look now
[10:20:19] <@wrbtrader> Why did you not see that WRB Hidden GAP before ???
[10:20:37] <@wrbtrader> were you on the regular session chart instead of the all session chart ?
[10:20:52] <TigermanTrader> no all session
[10:21:16] <TigermanTrader> simply in my chart 942 level are in the mid of interval
[10:21:24] <@wrbtrader> correct
[10:21:28] <@wrbtrader> But that's not the issue
[10:21:39] <TigermanTrader> open at 935.9 close at 946.3
[10:21:45] <MattyR> I see it exactly as you tigerman
[10:21:47] <@wrbtrader> I was curious why you said there was NO WRB Hidden GAP
[10:22:39] <TigermanTrader> you right I say no wrb hg
[10:23:05] <@wrbtrader> The reason why the price is key is because its the price of a key market event on that day...
[10:23:17] <TigermanTrader> but I wanna see I no have S/R level of a wrb hg at 942 level
[10:23:33] <@wrbtrader> [10:23:05] <@wrbtrader> The reason why the price is key is because its the price of a key market event on that day...
[10:23:44] <@wrbtrader> It's a pivot area
[10:24:03] <@wrbtrader> But that's only part of the puzzle
[10:24:55] <@wrbtrader> Its also (942 area) a key market event price part of another key WRB Hidden GAP
[10:25:39] <@wrbtrader> back on May 1st Wednesday for the hourly interval 0900am - 1000am est
[10:26:53] <@wrbtrader> The WRB Hidden GAP key market event price around 942 area on May 5th ENGULFED the WRB Hidden GAP key market event price around 942
[10:27:30] <@wrbtrader> May 5th WRB Hidden GAP also ENGULFED another WRB Hidden GAP on May 1st @ 0800am - 0900am est
[10:29:19] <TigermanTrader> ah ok it is very clear now
[10:29:22] <TigermanTrader> thanks
[10:30:45] <@wrbtrader> Always keep track of WRB Hidden GAPs "engulfing" (feeling in the range) of prior WRB Hidden GAPs
[10:31:55] <TigermanTrader> ok thanks for this tip
[10:32:25] <@wrbtrader> Its a big price in my head which is why I typed that number by mistake for the R area of today's 2min chart that prompt canaandog question
[10:32:32] <@wrbtrader> [10:07:41] <@wrbtrader> S area of the most recent WRB Hidden GAP @ 972.30
[10:32:32] <@wrbtrader> [10:08:05] <@wrbtrader> R area @ 942.20
[10:32:32] <@wrbtrader> [10:08:29] <canaandog> ?
[10:32:45] <TigermanTrader> I assume it is important because this engulfing clear the previous trend
[10:33:00] <@wrbtrader> Not really
[10:33:25] <@wrbtrader> Key market event WRB Hidden GAP engulfing prior Key market event WRB Hidden GAPs
[10:33:56] <@wrbtrader> Had it been a WRB Hidden GAP "without" a key market event and "without" engulfing any prior WRB Hidden GAPs...
[10:34:10] <@wrbtrader> I would not have been on my radar
[10:34:58] <TigermanTrader> ok so the key things is the market event and the wrb hg engulf
[10:35:21] <TigermanTrader> and this make thet level very important, right?
[10:35:26] <@wrbtrader> Key Market Event price, WRB Hidden GAP, Engulfment of prior Key Market Event WRB Hidden GAPs
[10:35:48] <@wrbtrader> Tiger...if it wasn't important...I wouldn't be talking this long about it :)
[10:37:00] <TigermanTrader> so a drop (or break) at that level trigger us to watch for possible entry in direction of the move
[10:37:01] <@wrbtrader> It is the most important WRB Hidden GAP for the month of May
[10:37:35] <TigermanTrader> <@wrbtrader> Tiger...if it wasn't important...I wouldn't be talking this long about it :) YES RIGHT :)
[10:37:40] <@wrbtrader> [10:37:00] <TigermanTrader> so a drop (or break) at that level trigger us to watch for possible entry in direction of the move
[10:37:52] <@wrbtrader> I'm not looking at it as such.
[10:38:12] <@wrbtrader> I'm going to trade inside it like any other WRB Hidden GAP
[10:38:23] <@wrbtrader> Long and Short
[10:38:41] <@wrbtrader> Only difference will be that if/when price returns to it...
[10:38:53] <@wrbtrader> I will load the boat (very large position sizes)
[10:39:25] <@wrbtrader> You already know after many years of conversation with me I'm not a bias direction trader
[10:39:36] <@wrbtrader> I'm more of a "position size trader"
[10:39:56] <@wrbtrader> Simply, I can be BEARISH on the market but going Long all day
[10:40:19] <TigermanTrader> yes I know :)
[10:40:19] <@wrbtrader> I just won't be going Long with large size positions :)
[10:40:27] <@wrbtrader> more like small size
[10:41:54] <TigermanTrader> yeah position size is very important and you show here how have to be done
[10:43:03] <TigermanTrader> thanks for this explain
[10:44:38] <TigermanTrader> now I note down the previous mentioned zone and very curious to watch when (if ) price go there
[10:45:28] <TigermanTrader> and of course set up the same when similar pattern happen again
[11:08:04] <@wrbtrader> Boring day so far in the regular session (0930am - 1600pm est) for Gold GC futures and Light Crude Oil CL futures
[11:13:17] <t4npaper> short cl 93.35
[11:14:01] <t4npaper> exit 93.46 -1.1
[11:29:34] <@wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Your use of this chat room implies you're using concepts from WRB Analysis for price action trading to help trade either Stocks, Emini Futures (EMD, TF, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX 6E Futures, Eurex/Euronext Futures (DAX, ESTX50, FTSE100, CAC40, BUND), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), Oil Futures (Brent, CL, HO, QM), Gold GC Futures, Natural Gas NG Futures, Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, XLE, QQQ, SPY), Hang Seng HSI Futures, NIFTY Futures, Forex Currencies (GbpUsd, EurUsd, EurYen, UsdCad) and other key market price actions.

[12:35:27] <Guest66366> ok
[12:35:38] <Guest66366> peop;le take off for weekend?
[12:39:40] <Guest66366> can i ask what type of client you are...fee based...or do you just use wrb with your own strategy?
[12:40:54] <@wrbtrader> Hi Guest...
[12:41:24] <@wrbtrader> I highly recommend that if you're asking someone a question...you should type their name so that they know you're talking to them.
[12:41:44] <@wrbtrader> Some in here are using different softwares to log-in.
[12:42:08] <@wrbtrader> Thus, if their user name isn't used...they aren't alerted that someone has asked them a question.
[12:42:15] <@wrbtrader> I'm one of those.
[12:42:39] <@wrbtrader> I have my computer on "audio alerts" because I don't sit here all day staring at the screen.
[12:43:21] <@wrbtrader> That's the primary reasons why I myself DON"T respond to some questions...
[12:43:35] <@wrbtrader> I don't know there's a question and I don't know if the question is for me.
[12:44:31] <@wrbtrader> My audio alerts are set for the word "wrbtrader" as an example.
[12:45:24] <@wrbtrader> There's a big holiday coming up...things will get very slow in the markets.
[12:45:45] <@wrbtrader> Typically, inactive around noon time (like now)
[12:45:53] <@wrbtrader> Folks gotta eat
[12:46:31] <@wrbtrader> The archive chat logs @ viewforum.php?f=20
[12:47:17] <@wrbtrader> Most active periods in here are 0930am - 1100am est and 1500pm - 1600pm est
[12:48:17] <@wrbtrader> Thus, there's about a 3 - 4 hour gap between 11am - 3pm est that a higher chance someone won't see your questions
[12:49:13] <Guest66366> ok no problem...thanks for the info
[12:49:22] <Guest66366> i will check out the logs
[12:49:36] <Guest66366> and will address people by their screen name
[12:49:48] <@wrbtrader> Gold GC futures still slow (low volatility)
[12:50:21] <@wrbtrader> Emini TF futures currently stuck inside of the range of WRB Hidden GAP of 1236pm - 1238pm est

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Also, to prevent the usual mix-up about our different chat rooms, most of our fee-base clients do not use chat rooms just like most retail traders do not use chat rooms. Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
