##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders using WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRB, WRB Hidden GAP, WRB Zone) by itself or merged with other trade methods to improve the performance of those other trade methods regardless if you're a position trader, swing trader or day trader. Therefore, you're welcome to use the chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post real-time price action trading analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to help develop a better understanding of the price action (market context) they're trading.

##TheStrategyLab is primarily designed to only be a trade journal for documentation purposes so that members can have a real time stamp archive of their trades and their market commentaries of each trading day...giving them a better understanding of their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day in the past. Therefore, if you use our chat room...its highly recommended you post messages that reflect what you see in the price action on your monitors so that the chat room becomes your diary (journal) to correlate with trades on your broker statements.

Also, if you want ##TheStrategyLab chat room to be educational for you, ask questions instead of lurking (not participating in conversations). You can talk about anything related to price action analysis, trade execution, financial markets, economies or news impacting the markets in general.

Quote:
The chat room is only for traders using concepts of WRB Analysis. In addition, traders that use ##TheStrategyLab are not required to post trades but if you do post trades...the trades must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Traders that consistently post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding price action trading. To log into ##TheStrategyLab chat room that's located on the Freenode IRC network...please follow the instructions here at the FTCHAT Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5 or via the the instructions from the TSL Support Forum @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/tsl/forum/viewforum.php?f=164

[10:23:55] <@wrbtrader> Found this recent online chart of the amount of money LEAVING the markets @ http://advisorperspectives.com/dshort/c ... -Fig-1.jpg
[10:24:27] <@wrbtrader> Yet, with all the money leaving the markets...markets are still going UPWARDS
[10:24:56] <@wrbtrader> Smells like government intervention (keeping the markets up)
[10:25:19] <TigermanTrader> yes probably retail investor exited
[10:25:36] <@wrbtrader> After all...they really are the BEST traders considering they can do it for FREE and behind closed doors :)

[10:27:04] <@wrbtrader> You have markets that can up forever even though INVESTORS are pulling their money out of the markets consistently.
[10:27:20] <TigermanTrader> the real problem is economy is not in good shape
[10:27:58] <TigermanTrader> agreed a win/win situation

[10:31:04] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Light Crude Oil CL @ 96.31 -> large size
[10:31:18] <@wrbtrader> 7 contracts
[10:32:04] <@wrbtrader> need a 10 tick wiggle room on this Crude Oil CL trade to properly manage it.
[10:32:25] <@wrbtrader> trailing @ profit
[10:32:31] <@wrbtrader> got my wiggle room
[10:32:51] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[10:33:54] <MattR_> increasing volatility in Gold GC Futures.
[10:33:57] <@wrbtrader> Covered Light Crude Oil CL Short @ 96.09 --> + 0.22
[10:33:59] <@wrbtrader> Holding 2 contract remainders
[10:36:17] <@wrbtrader> volatility surges...producing lots of long shadows in several key markets
[10:36:32] <@wrbtrader> meant "long shadow intervals"
[10:37:53] <@wrbtrader> Will stay away from Emini TF futures until it makes either "new intraday highs" or "new intraday lows".
[10:38:54] <TigermanTrader> yeah seems a bad mus if price stay inside this range
[10:39:54] <squiggles> ES steady up since 0900 on 2m chart
[10:41:10] <@wrbtrader> I'm still waiting for a WRB Hidden GAP pt1 (not WRB pt1) to cover these remaining contracts in the Crude Short
[10:45:28] <TigermanTrader> up spike on euro
[10:48:36] <@wrbtrader> retracing back to the range of long shadows

[11:14:15] <@wrbtrader> Emini TF futures long upper shadow
[11:18:05] <diesel_> test
[11:49:28] <@wrbtrader> Too bad Crude Oil CL futures decided to go range bound.
[11:50:12] <@wrbtrader> In contrast, Forex EURUSD, EuroFX 6E futures, Gold GC futures and Emini TF futures looks like they got more potential for volatility increases (trade opportunities)
[11:50:43] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Light Crude Oil CL @ 95.90 -> medium size
[11:50:48] <@wrbtrader> 2+2
[11:50:52] <@wrbtrader> increasing volatility
[11:51:09] <@wrbtrader> volatility spike
[11:51:22] <@wrbtrader> big spike out of that low volatility tight trading range
[11:51:44] <@wrbtrader> if it can hold the expansion...it'll have a good chance to produce a WRB Hidden GAP
[11:53:15] <@wrbtrader> I got a 10 tick wiggle room...I'm now trailing @ profit
[11:54:21] <@wrbtrader> WRB Hidden GAP with S area @ 95.78
[11:55:25] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Light Crude Oil CL Short @ 95.88 --> + 0.02
[11:56:10] <@wrbtrader> Hopefully the WRB Hidden GAP sets up some trade opportunities instead of going into a low volatility tight trading range inside the range of the WRB Hidden GAP
[11:56:37] <@wrbtrader> long upper shadow interval
[11:59:05] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Light Crude Oil CL @ 95.83 -> large size
[11:59:18] <@wrbtrader> 6 contracts
[11:59:34] <@wrbtrader> looking for a Houdini Escape
[12:00:50] <@wrbtrader> low volatility range :(
[12:03:16] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Light Crude Oil CL Short @ 95.95 --> - 0.12
[12:03:32] <@wrbtrader> R area being tested
[12:03:44] <@wrbtrader> now above R area
[12:07:21] <@wrbtrader> retraced back below R area of earlier mentioned WRB Hidden GAP
[12:07:53] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Light Crude Oil CL @ 95.96 -> large size
[12:08:03] <@wrbtrader> 5+1
[12:09:13] <Zr1trader> ECBOT just went down for IB..as of 11:07 CentralTime
[12:10:55] <@wrbtrader> thanks Zr1trader
[12:18:32] <TigermanTrader> ecbot is ok again for IB
[12:20:14] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Light Crude Oil CL Short @ 95.91 --> + 0.05
[12:21:06] <@wrbtrader> long lower shadow killed that trade
[13:07:43] <MattR_> Volatility Spike in Gold GC futures
[13:10:59] <@wrbtrader> Long Light Crude Oil CL @ 96.17 -> medium size
[13:11:07] <@wrbtrader> 4 contracts
[13:14:51] <TigermanTrader> I end my trading session here for today
[13:15:06] <TigermanTrader> take care all and see all next time
[13:50:22] <@wrbtrader> The reason why I've lowered my overall position size today and number of trades is because I'm not too comfortable with today's price action in comparison to the price action the past week or so
[13:51:30] <@wrbtrader> Also, I've been taking more rest/relaxations during the trading this month of May after the big month of April trading session
[13:51:46] <@wrbtrader> WRB Hidden GAP pt1 reached
[13:52:25] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Light Crude Oil CL Long @ 96.42 --> + 0.25
[14:12:32] <diesel_> nice
[14:31:09] <@wrbtrader> Reminder -> - All of my a.m. trades will eventually "only" be via wrbtrader_mobile in private with ##TheStrategyLab members that have been actively discussing real-time market conditions, real-time WRB Analysis or real-time trades here in ##TheStrategyLab or discussing WRB Analysis at the discussion forums they're registered.
[14:38:22] <diesel_> so the am part of this chat room will eventually end?
[14:56:32] <@wrbtrader> No...
[14:56:49] <@wrbtrader> ##TheStrategyLab will always be open and public
[14:57:18] <@wrbtrader> I will just be in here to moderate the room as in "keep the peace".
[14:57:33] <@wrbtrader> Will be easy to do considering most in here are lurking (not participating)
[14:57:58] <@wrbtrader> In contrast, there will be a private room where I and others (active members) will be using.
[14:58:20] <@wrbtrader> I myself will primarily be mobile at that time
[14:59:31] <@wrbtrader> Meant...I'll be mobile but not using mIRC
[14:59:41] <@wrbtrader> Instead, will be using an android app
[14:59:59] <@wrbtrader> mIRC too buggy for some users that consistently have "connection problems".
[15:00:06] <MattR_> Will the private channel still be on IRC?
[15:00:40] <@wrbtrader> Most likely NOT...I'm still testing other private group sources.
[15:00:51] <@wrbtrader> been testing for about 3 months now :(
[15:00:57] <MattR_> ah, ok
[15:01:44] <@wrbtrader> Anyways, same discussions...just another repeat in here about what's going to happen.
[15:02:06] <@wrbtrader> Yet, I guarantee someone in here today will act as if they didn't know when it eventually happens :(
[15:06:47] <diesel_> thanks - that helps
[15:14:14] <@wrbtrader> More and more traders are going mobile...
[15:15:05] <@wrbtrader> Too bad mIRC chat software hasn't developed its own mobile application.
[15:15:31] <@wrbtrader> More and more charting software providers are also going mobile trader.
[15:15:42] <@wrbtrader> Same with trade execution programs.
[15:16:00] <@wrbtrader> This is very helpful for retail traders that trade at home in my opinion.
[15:16:13] <@wrbtrader> We're no longer confined to the "at home office"
[15:16:14] <@wrbtrader> :)
[15:17:37] <@wrbtrader> I know someone that's converting his RV into a mobile trading office...
[15:17:52] <@wrbtrader> 95k project
[15:20:08] <@wrbtrader> WRB Analysis -> - Your use of this chat room implies you're using concepts from WRB Analysis for price action trading to help trade either Stocks, Emini Futures (EMD, TF, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX 6E Futures, Eurex/Euronext Futures (DAX, ESTX50, FTSE100, CAC40, BUND), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), Oil Futures (Brent, CL, HO, QM), Gold GC Futures, Natural Gas NG Futures, Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, XLE, QQQ, SPY), Hang Seng HSI Futures, NIFTY Futures, Forex Currencies (GbpUsd, EurUsd, EurYen, UsdCad) and other key market price actions.
Session Close: Wed May 08 19:02:56 2013

-------------------------

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is free and is a serious professional trading chat room involving WRB Analysis in which any trader (position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn WRB Analysis.

Therefore, we welcome all traders that want to learn about WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in price action trading.

The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Commonly discussed trading instruments from stocks, futures, exchange traded funds and forex currencies:

Also, to prevent the usual mix-up about our different chat rooms, most of our fee-base clients do not use chat rooms just like most retail traders do not use chat rooms. Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called ##VolatilityTradingTSL or ##WRB_Analysis and they're not allowed to do such in ##TheStrategyLab.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that ##TheStrategyLab is a serious professional price action trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: chat logs saved (timestamp) from Québec, Canada in eastern daylight time
