#FuturesTrades is free along with being a serious professional trading chat room and any trader can use the chat room to post their real-time trades, real-time price action analysis or market commentaries involving futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Further, although our chat room is smaller than the other popular chat rooms...we are the most active chat room in posting trades, price action analysis or market commentaries involving futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies in comparison to other free chat rooms.

#FuturesTrades is designed to be only a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a real time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day and this gives them a better understanding of their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day. In addition, we welcome all traders with their own methods or different perspective of the price action and markets to help keep the chat room diversified...posting trades or market commentaries about the price action on their monitors.

Quote:
Traders that use #FuturesTrades are required to discuss anything related to trading (e.g. price action analysis, market news or real-time trades) at least once per day they use our chat room. Yet, you're not required to post trades but if you do post trades...they must be clear (not ambiguous) entry price/exit price and position size. Those that consistently post ambiguous trades will be KICKED (removed) from the chat room.

With that said, thanks for reading the trades, price action analysis or market commentaries that's below and we highly recommend you make reading of the logs a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful trade information not discussed anywhere else online nor in any books. To log in to #FuturesTrades chat room...please follow the instructions @ FTCHAT Support Forum * http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5

[10:04:52] <@wrbtrader> If this type of "crazy chop" continues...I'll call it a day very early especially its very nice weather outside.
[10:08:22] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini TF Short @ 777.50 --> + 1.2
[10:08:31] <@wrbtrader> early exit
[10:08:47] <@wrbtrader> having problems with the price analysis in this chop
[10:10:39] <+Fleneer> Lot of chop. I call it volatility.
[10:19:39] <@wrbtrader> I don't like to trade in choppy volatility that lacks WRB Hidden GAPs.
[10:19:55] <@wrbtrader> I prefer to trade in directional volatility that contains WRB Hidden GAPs
[10:21:50] <@wrbtrader> The latter has less stop outs
[10:22:31] <@wrbtrader> Choppy volatility will often take me out of a trade (stop or trail hit) and then the price action chops back into a nice profit without me on board :(
[10:26:12] <+ham_away> i know the feeling :)
[10:28:48] <+Fleneer> wrb that IS the market.
[10:29:17] <+Fleneer> the "institutional traders" must move the market around to make money. And for the most part the money they make is our money.
[10:30:24] <@wrbtrader> :)
[10:31:01] <@wrbtrader> Eminis futures has WRB Hidden GAP @ 1026am - 1028am est
[10:31:59] <+Fleneer> This is their Market,. They make the rules and they have an edge that we must overcome just to be net BE
[10:32:52] <+Fleneer> the ability to jerk the market around (chop or volatility whatever the name) is just part of their edge.
[10:33:19] <@wrbtrader> Well...my goal is to play their game just long enough for me to plan a few big robbery and hopefully I can get out before they call the cops :)
[10:33:44] <+Fleneer> not a bad analogy.
[10:34:27] <+ham_away> :)
[10:34:29] <@wrbtrader> I've obviously seen too many George Cooney/Brad Pitt Ocean 11 movies
[10:34:37] <+Fleneer> mine is "I just want to follow the "institutional traders" and pick up a few dropped peanuts without getting stepped on."
[10:36:16] <+ham_away> cutting your thin slice of the trend-cake :)
[10:41:55] -X- Ban for *!*@*.mia.bellsouth.net removed in channel #FuturesTrades
[10:52:53] * dnldr is now known as T4n
[10:57:32] <+Fleneer> yep. just took another little piece. +1.00 shorted the pop in at2696.50 filled 95.50 to exit

[11:04:35] <+T4n> Shorts TF @ 779.3 -> small size «« simulator »»

[11:27:10] <+ham_away> reached my daily goal
[11:39:11] <@X> #FuturesTrades Info -> Chat room for traders of Emini Futures (EMD, TF, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX Futures (6E, EC), Eurex/Euronext Futures (DAX, ESTX50, FTSE100, CAC40), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), NYMEX Futures (CL, NG, HO, QM), Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, XLE, QQQ, SPY) and Forex Currencies

[15:07:23] <+Fleneer> just scalpped +0.75 NQ. Was a long hold. Took 67 seconds. :o)
[15:07:43] <@wrbtrader> meant...I move my initial stop into a "tight trail stop" as soon as I realize my entry was poor
[15:08:21] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini TF Short @ 779.50 --> - 0.2
[15:13:25] <@wrbtrader> Creeper Down Movement still active

[15:51:33] <@wrbtrader> So far not an inspirational 3:45pm - 4:00pm est rush hour traffic
[15:51:53] <@wrbtrader> markets so far seem "content" at these levels
[15:53:42] <+Fleneer> OK. here's the anatomy of my last scalp. NQ broke 2591.00 support to 2588.00 a 3.00 point drop. I went long in 88.25...
[15:54:19] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini TF @ 778.00 -> small size
[15:54:26] <@wrbtrader> 2 contracts
[15:54:43] <+Fleneer> then had it go lower to 86.25 befor bouncing with 2 green bars then a red inside bar and then a pop to 89.50 I bailed 89.25 got 89.00
[15:55:17] <+Fleneer> I was prepared to take a 2686.00 exit for a loss but got the profit instead.
[15:55:47] <@wrbtrader> moce
[15:55:51] <@wrbtrader> nice
[15:56:11] <+Fleneer> 2590.00 was high tic on the bounce so taking the 89.25 didn't leave much.
[15:56:27] <@wrbtrader> Fleneer, you only trade Emini NQ futures ?
[15:56:41] <+Fleneer> yes mostly NQ these days.
[15:57:08] <+Fleneer> FWIW that last trade took "forever" it was 5 min 1 second
[15:57:28] <@wrbtrader> :)
[15:58:10] <+Fleneer> I prefer to scalp because I learned it is difficult to loose holding CASH my favorit symbol
[15:58:53] <+Fleneer> 2590.75 held resistance at my primary EMA then rolled over to test trhe prior low at 86.25 now
[15:59:23] <+Fleneer> I passed the short because too close to the bell. Last minutes activity can really jerk you around.
[15:59:40] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini TF Short @ 777.30 --> + 0.7
[15:59:50] <@wrbtrader> WRB pt1 reached
[16:00:42] <+Fleneer> was 0 for 2 net -144 last night trading the Asian session. SO began the day in the hole. Finished net +193 recovering the loss.
[16:01:52] <+Fleneer> traded net +337 on the day session. All paper trading. I have a disclaimer: --- ALL MY POSTS are INFOMATION ONLY --- ALL MY TRADES are PAPER TRADES ---
[16:02:21] <+Fleneer> learn to read your own market in whatever way you can find that works.
[16:02:50] <+Fleneer> I have real work to do to make some real money to pay my real cost of living. :o) CYAs!
[16:03:08] <@wrbtrader> Take care all...I'm done today too

-------------------------

#FuturesTrades is free and is a serious professional trading chat room in which any trader can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries involving futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the chat room nor do you need to be a price action only trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not.

Therefore, we welcome all traders with their own trade signal methods, different perspective of the markets and different experience levels. To gain access to #FuturesTrades...please follow the instructions @ http://www.thestrategylab.com/ftchat/forum/viewforum.php?f=5

The purpose of #FuturesTrades is that it's designed to be a trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.

Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encourage to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that's posted by others because sometimes the answers contains useful trading tips.

In addition, our primary job in the free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a spam free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

Yet, the few clients that do use chat rooms, our fee-base clients are discussing market analysis or price action only trade signals via concepts from our strategies in the private chat rooms called #VolatilityTradingTSL or #SwingTradingTSL and they're not allowed to do such in #FuturesTrades.

Reminder, our Terms of Use (TOU) Policy is a must read to prevent any misunderstandings along with revealing that #FuturesTrades is a serious professional trading chat room and we expect members to act professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, offending or too far in the off topic area that's a distraction when the commentary was posted.

Note: All logs regardless to their location at TheStrategyLab.com website are eastern standard time.
