 November 2004 Key Trades

Charts below reflect profit targets (pt's) based on Japanese Candlestick s/r levels. Profit targets suggest where the trader should have exited.

However, the trader's actual exit that's posted below in the commentary will not always be exact to the profit target (pt) due to real trading conditions.

Simply, no matter how well the destination (exits) are mapped out...

The goal is to follow the trading plan outlined by the strategy as best as possible...the goal is not to be perfect because every experience trader knows that's not reality.

Remember this...if you are a struggling trader or a trader that wants to be more profitable...contact us about either IRC room mentioned below to help develop yourself into a consistent...profitable trader.

More importantly, we highly recommend you ask either NihabaAshi or any other #FuturesTrades member for help if your struggling trader not meeting your trading goals.

Its not often I get a trade signal as soon as the regular session opens (0930am est).

This trade signal was via a price action only divergence signal. Also, I was able to get a better price than the trade signal price.

However, after pt1 was reached...I didn't manage pt2 accordingly to the trading plan so I decided it was best to manage the remainders via a higher chart interval to exploit pt2 (second try at it) and pt3.

Short Entry NQ @ 1556.50

The pre-market preparation helped with this trade via the daily chart analysis being bearish. Therefore, I adjusted my position size for all short signals (from small to large).

Covered @ 1555.00, 1555.50, 1551.50 and 1547.00

Adding to a profitable day trade position is something most traders do not do.

It's something that requires a well-defined trading plan that has a high probability for follow-through.

Psychologically, arguably it could be one of the most difficult things to do as a day trader.

This particular trade involves price action only divergence signal that was missed. Yet, soon after...a bullish candlestick pattern appeared to confirm continuation from the earlier divergence signal.

This bearish candlestick continuation pattern I traded is a particular sub-group Bullish Dark Inverted Hammer from the Dark Inverted Hammer Family occurred after a dark WRB candlestick to help ensure the long position wasn't occurring when there was too much supply.

Just another way of exploiting supply and demand.

The adds to the initial small position resulted in a large position that's appropriate for current market conditions. It was also important I exited those adds at/near profit target 1 (pt1)...such I was able to do.

Long Entry YM @ 10015.00, 10018.00 and 10020.00

The problem with this trade was that I exited my second add at a lesser price in comparison to the exiting of the first add when the trading plan requires the opposite.

Exited @ 10023.00, 10019.00, 10033.00, 10052.00 and 10060.00

Last of all, there are a few in the realtime trade posting room that have exhausted their self-taught methodology without any success and are using the room to monitor NihabaAshi and other users of the fee-based strategies and free resources by TheStrategyLab.com to determine if such is what they need to get on the road to profits.
