Hi...my name is M.A. Perry and I use the online alias at many discussion forums as NihabaAshi.

The points shown above are via my trades only and not via trades of any other member of the #FuturesTrades realtime trading posting room on IRC.

Also, I am the moderator of #FuturesTrades and the only trader in there that represents TheStrategyLab.com

Further, other traders in #FuturesTrades are non-clients of TheStrategyLab.com and we do not market nor advertise our strategies to them because it is a spam free trading room.

Our strategies and trade signals are discussed in realtime with our clients in #SwingTradingTSL and #TheStrategyLab private fee-based trading rooms.

With that said...when analyzing my results, you must remember a few things about my risk control.

The same contract position size isn't used each trading day because the market is not the same each trading day.

The first trade of the day is always a small size in comparison to trades occurring the remainder of the trading day because the first trade is key to ensuring I'm ready to follow today's trading plan.

The time of day will have impact on my contract position size.

The trade posting images or text logs that are posted below includes trades by all members of the #FuturesTrades.

Also, to see the trade log for any particular trading day below...just click on the specific trading day that has a hyperlink.

Yet, trading days that do not have a hyperlink...these are days that I did not trade for whatever reasons and was not able to log the trades posted by other members.

Also, almost all the points (profits) achieved since 2003 were via the price action only (no indicators) strategies via the following resources:

However, prior to 2003...about 60% of my trades were via price action only strategies and the remaining 40% via strategies based upon indicators.

These highlighted trades are not based on points. They are based on a trader's ability to recognize a repetitive price pattern and exploit the trade management of the price pattern...initial stops, trailing stops, profit targets and any contingency plans (re-entry signals).

Testing of the infamous Head and Shoulders pattern by system traders, discretionary traders, book authors and by those that don't believe in technical analysis have proven that their personal method of trading this particular pattern will yield profits less than 50% of the time.

Simply, it doesn't prove that the Head and Shoulders pattern isn't reliable...they only proved that they didn't have a good trading plan for trading it.

Therefore, if the methodology is flawed it will produced poor results.

Main reason why the pattern doesn't work for most traders and does work for a few traders.

For me...I don't use the traditional Head and Shoulders pattern nor use the typical rules for trading this pattern.

Instead, I've integrated my price action only WRB Divergence methodology into the Head and Shoulders pattern to produce a high probability (reliable) trade signal that's designed for swing trading although I do apply it to day trading.

Thus, the below trade was via using a swing trade strategy for day trading the mini-sized Dow YM.

Short Entry mini-sized Dow YM @ 10499.00

I had my normal large size on this trade as the short signal via the 3min chart interval exploited the lower high via the divergence signal that revealed itself in the Head and Shoulders pattern.

Your going to need to use either your 1min or 2min chart to see the Head and Shoulders pattern more clearly at the time of the trade signal.

However, I mismanaged the number of contracts to cover at profit target 1 (pt1) and mismanaged the cover of the last remainder contract pt4.

Simply, had I managed this trade much better, I would have dumped less contracts at pt1 which would have allowed me to captured a pt5, pt6 and a rare pt7.

Covered @ 10492.00, 10484.00, 10476.00 and 10483.00

Profit targets were reached very easily and initial stop nor trailing stop were in any danger of being pick pocketed

Something else, I did get a trade signal via a continuation pattern @  1431pm est (10440.00) to get Short again but was distracted via some personal stuff.

Key Concepts for your Homework: Head and Shoulders Pattern, Swing Trading, WRB Divergence, Continuation Pattern and Trading Plan.

Many of these traders are either making a living in the markets via trading full time and others are just supplementing their incomes via trading part time.

There are others in the room as beginners or struggling just trying to grab a few trading tips from the veterans to help them turn the corner to profitability.

Last of all, there are a few in the realtime trade posting room that have exhausted their self-taught methodology without any success and are using the room to monitor me and other users of the fee-based strategies and free resources by TheStrategyLab.com to determine if such is what they need to get on the road to profits.

Sincerely,

M.A. Perry and Associates
