Trading Perspective

Profit/Loss Blotter

I wanted to start posting my daily PnL statements again after several years of not doing such.

With that said, I finally got (I hope) my trading platform workspaces setup in a way I'm comfortable in navigating on my monitors and did a few real trades and simulator trades with a small position size as a test run of the new workspaces.

In addition, I had some data problems with the VIX and other key markets I follow closely to help me get a feel for the general price direction...resulting in me missing some good price action today.

Other than that...nothing unusual about the market itself.

I am now using two wide screen laptops hooked up to an extra 22inch wide screen monitor. 09:35

This allows me to be portable and not be confined to one location in the house for trading.

I also have one desktop computer I use for backups and a different trading platform in comparison to the laptops. 09:36

As traders we must treat our trading like a business if we are to succeed as traders and as a business. Mentally getting away from trading is much harder to do in comparison to physically getting away from trading when its time for some rest and relaxation. Personally, one of my favorite ways to mentally rest is to watch movies I've copy & recorded from the local video store via my Slysoft software that copies any copyright protected dvd's and cd's.

Reason why I held that Dec contract and then I did a quick add to compensate for the mess up.

Overall, only make 1 tick profit :(
