General Chat Room/Log Info:
The above points along with profit/loss info represents trades by M.A. Perry
(a.k.a. NihabaAshi) only and all
trades were posted in realtime as shown in the below chat log.
Also, #FuturesTrades is
free
to any trader and I am the only trader in
#FuturesTrades that represents TheStrategyLab.com
My
main function in #FuturesTrades is to be the moderator and I use the chat room
as more eyes on the markets to help prevent missing critical market info
that have impact on my trades.
#FuturesTrades is not a signal calling chat room and all users are required to
post at least one trade (real money or simulator) per day of use or participate
in the market discussions.
Lurking (not participating) in
#FuturesTrades will not allow you to reach your trading goals nor
will it answer your questions that you need answered to help with
your trading. Therefore, it's to your benefit to
participate in #FuturesTrades to prevent us from thinking you don't
need any help.
General Strategy Info:
Although I'm not familiar with the trade methods used by most members of
#FuturesTrades, I use a rule based (no subjectivity) methodology that
involves WRB Analysis.
In fact,
many of my trades or profit targets will occur within key WRB
support/resistance zones because these price areas gives me a better
understanding of key changes in supply demand.
Traditional pivot point analysis or traditional s/r levels are inadequate
in understanding changes in supply/demand of the Russell 2000 Emini ER2 or any
other trading instrument of today's markets in comparison to WRB Analysis.
WRB Analysis is also a key aspect in my use of intermarket analysis, market seasonal
tendencies, volatility analysis and custom Japanese Candlestick patterns to
complete my trading plan that results in consistent profits.
Further, position size management
is a key aspect of my trading and I trade any where between 1 to 9 contracts per
trade depending upon the volatility, trade signal and seasonal tendencies.
All
of my trades and commentary for today's market action (posted below) are via the user name NihabaAshi (Japanese Candlestick term) and I
exclusively trade the Russell 2000
Emini ER2 futures even though I closely monitor other key markets in
the world.
With that said, today's
trade posting chat log is below
and it contains all my trades that were posted in realtime along with the
trades of other members of #FuturesTrades.

<ItalianSharp> | today must have been one of the most boring trading days of the year | 14:30 |
<X> | #FuturesTrades Info -> Chat room for realtime trade posting by traders of Emini Futures (ER2, ES, NQ, YM), EuroFX Futures (EC), Eurex Derivatives (DAX, ESTX50), Euronext Futures (FTSE100, CAC40), Treasury Futures (ZF, ZN, ZB), NYMEX Futures (CL, NG, HO, QM) and Exchange Traded Funds (DIA, GLD, IWM, OIH, QQQQ, SPY) | 14:31 |
<ItalianSharp> | volatility disappeared immediately after the 10am reports |
| looks like Independe Day trading |
<pdays> | Long ER2 @ 859.2 | 14:34 |
| Exited all ER2 Long @ 859.5 --> + 0.3 |
<ItalianSharp> | and all of a sudden, volatility comes back... | 14:55 |
| when everyone must be enjoying a few buds and early weekend, the big boys decide to set a new record for the DOW | 14:56 |
| this is why this job is so tough...today i've been in the red all day...when YM failed to break 90 and didn't fill my limit order that would have gotten me BE, I gave in and figured i'd be happy with a small loss for the day given the lousy volatility | 14:57 |
| then i see markets and volumes increasing...and i am now back at BE for the day...big success given my bad start and considering it's a friday | 14:58 |
| had a great week until yesterday, unfortunately today i wasn't sharp enough to play the morning session properly |
| interesting stats about my trading yesterday and today. | 15:00 |
| yesterday i had 4 long trades and all 4 of them were winners | 15:01 |
| today i had 5 trades: 3 longs all winners and 2 shorts all losers |
| basically, as long as YM is nearby those record-highs it's very dangerous to short this market |
| the all-time highs function as a magnete and whenever YM dips by a 20-30 ticks, people rush in to buy at a discounted price | 15:02 |
| we need one of those flush-out days to calm down them bulls |
| i am done for the day now...see you all guys on monday...now that YM has fulfilled its desire to test 14K i think we are going to be rangebound till the close...and i am exhausted from a very intense trading day | 15:09 |

<NihabaAshi> | Hi all...just got back/ | 16:03 |
<GoodMood> | Hi Niha |

WRB Analysis
|
|
| |
<NihabaAshi> | http://thestrategylab.com/images/071207WRBpage.png | 16:04 |
| That's the key WRB s/r zone I used for today's only trade. | 16:06 |
| Here's my profit loss statement for today's only trade I did. |
| http://www.thestrategylab.com/images/071 307NihabaAshiPnLBlotterProfit.png |
| All exits within that key WRB s/r zone. | 16:07 |
| Had to leave immediate soon after for some "family personal" issue with grandfather and IPO of his company. | 16:08 |
<Brutus> | Good exit Niha you held that through that spike. | 16:09 |
<NihabaAshi> | I had a stop at 861.40 | 16:10 |
<Brutus> | k |
<NihabaAshi> | Just above the WRB s/r zone of the 0830am est price action | 16:11 |
| Had it pushed higher and took me out... |
| I would have loaded up again and shorted anywhere around 861.00 to hold down to the WRB s/r zone of 856.90 - 856.30 | 16:12 |
<Awash> | good night all | 16:13 |
<NihabaAshi> | I'll get this week's Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs and today's Fri chat logs posted. | 16:14 |
<Awash> | thanks Niha |
| see you all Monday |
<NihabaAshi> | I'm about 5 days behind schedule with all the personal stuff going on here. |
<Brutus> | np, thanks Niha |
<NihabaAshi> | Website updates is also about a week behind schedule :( |
| Today I've learn a ton about the Oil & Natural GAS business from the inside out. | 16:15 |
| Very interesting. |
| Take care all and have a good weekend. | 16:16 |
<Brutus> | CUL8R |
<NihabaAshi> | I'm going to try to post those WRB s/r zones BEFORE the OPEN here in #FuturesTrades. |
| I think there's a few in here with a strong interest in them. |
| However, I won't explain in here how I derive them because its from the WRB Analysis Tutorial (Premium) stuff. | 16:17 |
