BOE and ECB Announcement

Today I got into a little trouble trying to position trade EuroFX EC futures but the new trading plan that allows me to day trade the position via a different broker as a hedge worked perfectly.

It's rare I underestimate a BOE (Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee) Announcement and ECB (European Central Bank) Announcement day and that's exactly what I did today via going Long even though EuroFX has been selling off since the big time short signal early Tuesday morning.

It's possible I was distracted by the Bernanke and Zarqawi news and placed too much weight on them.

However, I was able to limit the damage in EuroFX via position size management (keeping it small size only) due to the fact I was trading against the overall downtrend.
