To many traders attribute missing trade signals to lack of discipline and do not realized its much deeper than that.
My lack of focus (mental lapses) during the trading day are usually attributed to lack of sleep or trading a trading instrument that has its trading hours in a completely different time zone.
The difference in time zones requires me to adjust (change) my sleeping pattern and such usually requires an adjustment period.
