Profit/Loss Statement

General Strategy Info: The above profit/loss info represents trades by M.A. Perry (a.k.a. NihabaAshi) only and all trades were posted in realtime as shown in the below chat log.

Although I'm not familiar with the trade methods used by most members of #FuturesTrades, I use a rule based (no subjectivity) methodology that involves WRB Analysis.

  There is some subjectivity involved with some of my trades when I'm developing a new strategy (hence the name TheStrategyLab.com) that uses WRB Analysis.

In fact, many of my trades or profit targets will occur within key WRB support/resistance zones because these price areas gives me a better understanding of key changes in supply demand.

  Traditional pivot point analysis or traditional s/r levels are inadequate in understanding changes in supply/demand of the Russell 2000 Emini ER2 or any other trading instrument of today's markets in comparison to WRB Analysis.

WRB Analysis is also a key aspect in my use of intermarket analysis (ex. Oil and Gold), market seasonal tendencies, volatility analysis and custom Japanese Candlestick patterns to complete my trading plan that results in consistent profits.

Further, position size management is a key aspect of my trading and I trade any where between 1 to 9 contracts per trade depending upon the volatility, pattern signal, seasonal tendencies or intuition.

All of my trades and commentary for today's market action (posted below) are via the user name NihabaAshi (Japanese Candlestick term) and I exclusively trade the Russell 2000 Emini ER2 futures even though I closely monitor other key markets so that I'll have a better understanding of ER2 price action.

With that said, today's trade posting chat log is below and it contains all my trades that were posted in realtime along with the trades of other members of #FuturesTrades.

Long ER2 @ 722.1 -> small size «« paper »»
Exited all ER2 Long @ 721.3 --> - 0.8 «« paper »» 10:48
<ItalianSharp> well, we are in a bear market and sentiment needs to shift back to bullish before next big drop

i guess markets, earnings, media are doing a good job on getting everyone back on the bulls bandwagon
<rickf> gotta love cnbc10:49
<ItalianSharp> whoever seriously believes that the credit and financial crisis is over with, must get his head examined
<Spartan> don't even watch it
<rickf> me neithert
<ItalianSharp> yeah, i dont want it either
i just read papers and listen to news after trading
anyways, as long as there are buyers left, we should buy too :)10:50
<szubaark> tough enough to scalp ticks on intraday level, who cares about the longer term crao
<ItalianSharp> szu, mine was an economic observation that went beyond trading
<rickf> what's funny in the morning cnbc (watch for rick santelli's 802 report, which i like) - they keep saying "S&P X points below RECORD CLOSE in October 2007" --- that number keeps getting bigger every day last month, which I found amusing they'd still run the blurb on-air
<szubaark> Im saying the news media all talk longer term
<Spartan>  Long ER2 @ 721.2 -> small size «« paper »»
<ItalianSharp> i am just laughin at those who got slaughtered on the way down and sold in march and are re-buying now before aonther big drop
<szubaark> wonder what scenario they will play to Hit the 1400 Level10:51
<rickf> i mean it's like "down jones 1,503 points below all time high" next day the number is "1931" next day "2531" or whatever10:52
talk about useless statistic -- but if they can put 'record close' on screen it's good for business i guess

until then, high possibility of reversal

<ItalianSharp> so far, the day is developing like those classic creeping uptrends

the fact we are starting to see some volatility on retracements tells me the big boys are beginning to scale out of their longs
