The 1/4 exit is misleading...it was a 2 contract exit... 11:31

Ok...here's what I saw that prompt me to reverse that losing Short into a Long position. 11:32

I saw that ER2 volatility had dropped around 11am est. 11:33

That's a warning something is about to happen as in the form of a WRB price spike.

For some weird reason I wasn't paying attention and got a Pattern Signal (bullish signal) in the WRB price spike @ 761.90 11:34

By the time I saw that...it pulled back a little to around 761.50 11:35

On lower volatilty...that's a sign to me that "another" WRB spike is coming and it will have a lot of volatility in comparison to the prior one. 11:36

By the time I jumped on board...it was at 762.10 11:38

I knew it was ok to chase it that high because of the Pattern Signal had occurred in reaction to that "low volatility" price action. 11:39

<NihabaAshi> First signal all day and it dug me out of a small hole of losing intuition trades in ER2. 11:40

<aym> Does low voltality usually follow by WBR, then the price continues in same direction? 11:45

<NihabaAshi> aym...the low volatility doesn't tell me what direction the WRB Spike will form... 11:46

It "only" tells me there will be a WRB Spike. 11:47

If I get a pattern signal along with the low volatility...

It usually spikes into the direction of my pattern signal as it did when I reversed from the Short into the Long position.

The low volatility is an "excellent warning" to tell me if I'm in a trade...be prepared to reverse the trade position. 11:50

The precursor was the FED speeches... 11:52

First one at 11am est and second one at 1145am est.

Volatility dried up in the last few minutes before both key market events.
