Profit/Loss Statement

There are many different types of market breadth index being used by traders for either confirmation signals to enter a trade or as price direction analysis to help stay in a trade longer so allow the opportunity to catch a big price movement.

I mainly use the Advance Decline Volume index to help me stay in trades just in case a trend develops and today was a high probability chance for the development of a trend.

Unfortunately the strong trend day didn't appear and there's a low probability for such tomorrow.

Yet, I will increase my position size to equals today's size in comparison to my normal position size for the first 1-2 trades just in case that trend develops out of the gate tomorrow.

As for my own trading today, I stuck to the trading plan even though there wasn't any additional work after my only trade entry of the day as shown in the below trade posting chat log.

The important thing is that had my first trade resulted in a loss, I'm confident I would have used my normal trading plan in comparison to yesterday's intuition trades that are outside my trading plan.
