Volatility Contraction

Profit/Loss Statement

The overall volatility contracted a little more today and was one of the main reasons for my poor start to the trading day.

In addition, I recognized the exhaustion signals in the Emini futures between 0936am - 0951am est but I failed to exploit such do to the fact I got married to my market bias.

However, this isn't a big concern considering it occurred while trading a new edge that I hope to be able to include as a new product to increase the number of trading reports from three to four.

Anyways, I temporarily went back to the trading manual and trading reports to dig myself out of losses to finally close the trading day at a profit.

Yet, I did have a patience problem for the past few trading days and today I missed a big time short signal from the trading reports around 1:53pm est when I exited early a short position for only a +0.10 tick profit (see chat log below).
