Profit/Loss Statement

General Strategy Info: The above profit/loss info represents trades by M.A. Perry (a.k.a. NihabaAshi) only and all trades were posted in realtime as shown in the below chat log.

Although I'm not familiar with the trade methods used by most members of #FuturesTrades, I use a rule based (no subjectivity) methodology that involves WRB Analysis.

There is some subjectivity involved with some of my trades when I'm developing a new strategy (hence the name TheStrategyLab.com) that uses WRB Analysis.

In fact, many of my trades or profit targets will occur within key WRB support/resistance zones because these price areas gives me a better understanding of key changes in supply demand.

Traditional pivot point analysis or traditional s/r levels are inadequate in understanding changes in supply/demand of the Russell 2000 Emini ER2 or any other trading instrument of today's markets in comparison to WRB Analysis.

WRB Analysis is also a key aspect in my use of intermarket analysis (ex. Oil and Gold), market seasonal tendencies, volatility analysis and custom Japanese Candlestick patterns to complete my trading plan that results in consistent profits.

Further, position size management is a key aspect of my trading and I trade any where between 1 to 9 contracts per trade depending upon the volatility, pattern signal, seasonal tendencies or intuition.

All of my trades and commentary for today's market action (posted below) are via the user name NihabaAshi (Japanese Candlestick term) and I exclusively trade the Russell 2000 Emini ER2 futures even though I closely monitor other key markets so that I'll have a better understanding of ER2 price action.

With that said, today's trade posting chat log is below and it contains all my trades that were posted in realtime along with the trades of other members of #FuturesTrades.

I've reached my profit goal for the day...

I'm officially in profit protection mode and will be trading via 1 contract only for the remainder of the trading day.11:01
<szubaark> Nice Scalps
<NihabaAshi> They were intended to be scalps...
<Pepe> nice Niha
<NihabaAshi> I was after POINTS on each trade...just couldn't hold them.

In fact, had it been a perfect trading day for me...11:02

One trade...large size...lots of points each contract and hold it for a majority of the day.

Didn't happen :)

<NihabaAshi> Had 3 trades today in which I chased between 1.0 - 1.2 points...

That's a lot of lost wiggle room when trading ER211:04

Luckily the trades resulted in a profit except for one.
<pw998> Nice. I want to get to a point when I can trade a large size :)
<hp101> good morning11:10

;)
<NihabaAshi> Over the years...I've been reducing my overall position size due to the volatility and other market conditions that I consider to make trading high risk in comparison to prior years.11:12
volatility spike
Hopefully it retraces a little to give me a better dump price
<hp101> @nihabaAshi do you use your three reports (STR, APAOR and AJCTR) currently? (or still other strategies)11:15
<NihabaAshi>  Covered Remainder ER2 Short @ 685.30 --> + 0.2 11:16
<hp101> because I consider to buy one of them or maybe all of them
<NihabaAshi> hp...I've been trading via new strategies since November 2007 via concepts from the old strategies.11:17
I'll go back to the old stuff this fall
Especially since the old stuff is key to my win streaks.
Simply, I'm a little surprise my current win streak hasn't ended because I'm trading via new stuff :)11:18
<hp101> do you also give support if I have some questioins about the reports?

that makes your experience I think ;)11:19
<NihabaAshi> hp...please send me a pm instead of talking about my stuff here in the open chat room because its a SPAM FREE room.
Thansks
<hp101> ok
<NihabaAshi> If this intraday High - Low range was tighter...11:25
It would be extremely difficult to trade.
Volatilitys sucks today and would be worst if we remove the 10am volatility spike info11:26
Off Topic - We are in another big time snow storm...the 9th one since November and the 3rd one that's a white out :(11:27
Snow in everbodies back yard is so high...we can walk about the snow (above the fence height) of about 6 feet11:29
That's the accumulation so far across my entire property and every one else :(
Feels like I'm living in a snow cave.11:30
<lumenPharmer> so niha's vote on global warming is "nay" ;)11:31
<NihabaAshi> Front yard is completely covered with 15 feets of snow...9 feet added on from the snow blowing and street plows.
<intowin> While here in florida I will be wakeboarding at 3 pm :)11:32
<NihabaAshi> :( just rub it in :)
